  • Battle of Yultong - Story of Brave Filipino Soldiers
The Battle of Yultong (Korean: 율동 전투; RR: Yultong Jeontu; Filipino: Labanan sa Yultong), also known as the Battle of Puluodong (Chinese: 普罗洞战斗; pinyin: Púluódòng Zhàndòu), Battle of Yuldong, or Battle of Yuldong-ri, took place during the Korean War. It was fought between elements of the Chinese People's Volunteer Army (PVA) 34th Division (44th Division from Chinese sources) and the Filipino 10th Battalion Combat Team (BCT), north of Yeoncheon during April 22-23, 1951. The battle was part of the Chinese Spring Offensive.
The Korean War unfolded between North and South Korea from 1950 to 1953, commencing on June 25, 1950, with North Korea's invasion of the South. Triggered by border clashes and rebellions in the southern region, the conflict saw North Korea receiving support from China and the Soviet Union, while South Korea was backed by the United Nations, primarily led by the United States. The intense fighting ultimately resulted in an armistice on July 27, 1953.
The initially rapidly advancing North Korean and Chinese forces, which seemed poised for victory, encountered a turning point. This narrative highlights the remarkable story of 900 Filipino soldiers who faced and triumphed over a formidable force comprising 40,000 Chinese and North Korean troops on the hills of Yoltong. Their valor and success in the face of overwhelming odds earned them recognition from General Douglas MacArthur, who declared, "Give me 10,000 Filipinos, and I will conquer the world."

Sad to say no movie will b make cos in history there is no battle of yultong, only in usa n ph they have but the rest of the world no, even ph government don't wish to mention this, cos it just one division of Chinese soldier chasing after usa retreating troop. N one division equal to 10k soldier, but ph n usa trying to cover up usa lost telling the world usa and ph 900 soldier win against 40k cn soldier, isn't usa was retreating y did they join in with ph making it to 900 soldier fighting the cn? N 1 division equal 10k soldier yet they told outside world they won against 40k soldier. So the question is where does the 30k soldier came from? N btw way it was night time when the cn army chasing after usa retreating troop, so how r they manage to count how many soldiers cn have n worst still they told the world cn send 1 division but forget that they also told the world cn send 40k soldier. in 1 division??? lolololol. That y when I ask my ph friend they don't wish to talk about it cos they know ph only fight 1.5k cn but tell the world they fight 40k of them n win lol, if that the case usa n his 16 ally won't lost to china in Korean war. in war the most shameful thing is stealing of glory just by using mouth n lie, plz don't shame ph by making this type of fake news, I love my ph friend they r nice guy. don't becos of olden day lie u guys create video to shame them till now. Btw I am not from china nor from ph, but me as a ex soldier base on the weapon that cn have, they manage to push 17 country back to 38 line n they r also the first nation who win the war against usa. I will give my respect to the cn soldier, winning a war without tank, without air attack n airstrike, they r the one that truly deserve credit n respect, not the one that make up story lying they r winning

The thing is the Golan Heights incident also shows us that this is still true for deployed forces outside the Philippines. I always remember my brother in law when I see clips like this he has two gold crosses to his name but he always says there is a fine line between stupidity and bravery unfortunately you don't know that until its all over and you and your buddies survive to fight on another day.
