I just discovered your lovely channel, this was ever so inspiring, your eye for light and shade and the beauty you see is clearly represented in your art.
I took a long break from painting to be a full time photographer, i missed the oil too much and getting back on the bike so to speak, needing a nudge from artists to help me rebuild my carefree approach i had lost to my plein air.
Thank you so much for sharing.

This is well done and I really enjoy your narrations. I agree with your opinion on detail. I find that leaving a painting a bit more "painterly" allows for more intrigue. Why paint a painting that looks exactly like a photograph when you can just take the photograph? Again, well done sir!

Thank you so much, I agree with you, I think a 'painterly' approach looks better. Thanks for watching 😂

The water is rendered beautifully- however the rocks are a distraction- and block the viewer from entering into the scene-
Seascapes are - can be so beautiful with the flowing waves and main wave- the illusion of the foam- not sure why painters always throw big rocks - boulders on the beach- coast and within the composition- it’s a distraction- eye stopper/ takes away from the depth- beauty of the waves--
