イギリス人も「without fail」と「religiously」をよく使います。でもイギリス人にとって、「day in and day out」はちょっとネガティブ表現です。もしいつもあまり好きじゃないことをしたら、僕は「day in and day out」を使います。

It's the same for Americans. "Day in and day out" can sometimes mean that you're tired of the daily routine. When it's used this way it's similar to the phrase "same old, same old" which means thats everything is the same as always and it's tiring or boring. The difference on whether the tired meaning is intended depends mostly on the emotion put into the words, the word "day" will be more emphasized and the person will speak slower, sigh, or show a tired or annoyed expression.
"Every day" is the more neutral way to say 毎日 but any phrase can be negative or positive depending on the emotions it is said with. English speakers tend to exaggerate their emotions a little while speaking so that the intended meaning is conveyed properly. This is also how we get sarcasm. When you overexaggerate emotions in your speech, it sounds like you're true feelings are actually the opposite or like you are mocking someone.

I love watching your videos Jun-sensei. Even though I already know English and learning Japanese, these videos are so useful for me to learn these phrases that I already know and hear them explained from a Japanese perspective.
I want to become an Eikaiwa teacher in Japan someday and I love the way you teach. Next year after college I'm gonna apply at the JET program in Japan and apply what I learned from your videos. You're definitely one of my inspirations for my goals!

    使う単語などは地域性が出ることがあると思うのですが、ウエストコーストで特に使われる言葉だったりするのでしょうか?🧐

Thanks a million for the super-helpful video as always, Jun-san😀 Congrats on the new book!! I'll get it !! Plus, I'm a big fan of ALC Press Inc. They publish wonderful books without fail! Especially, I love the magazine, "English Journal." Its contents are so great that I check the "EJ" every month religiously. The more I study English, the stronger my interest in English-related stuff becomes.
This is why, I've been investing on American stock exchanges, and studying financial statements online with a textbook in English. I've learned to check stock prices and currency markets day in and day out...📈📉I’m occupied with that kind of information 24/7...😂which means stock markets in my head are literally open 24/7 😱💰
But this lifestyle is not healthy as you can imagine 😵 I try to watch comedians on TV such as DOWNTOWN and BANANAMAN😆
Thanks for giving me a good chance to try a little English writing📒 Can't wait for the next one!!
