While Jonathon is amazing he's hardly had "many Number One albums" two on the UK classical chart. He's still had a decent career but his battles with depression and self confidence along with mediocre management have left him far short of the superstar level his voice should be demanding. Just trying to keep things real and not let admiration paint his chart success to be far greater than it's been. I keep hoping he will hit his real potential with ablums and live performances. Sadly bullying like he faced as a child and teen does tremendous damage and often the victim never fully moves beyond that. I wish him well and much success.

If it weren't for Charlotte we never would have heard Jonathan sing. She was his backbone. That's why their music teacher put them together as a duo because he had no self esteem and stayed in his shell. It's a very sweet story.
Jonathan is ranked right up there with the famous tenors now and is known internationally. Charlotte has also done well for herself in musical theater. I'm so happy for the both of them.
    Blessings!

Charlotte said she had never sung the song in that key before. It threw her.
She had to leave her musical theater studies and her classmates to continue this competition and do tv specials.
Jonathan of course is a talent beyond words! He has a RUclips channel and interacts with his fans a lot.
His favorite music was or is super heavy metal. I love him singing opera!!!!!! He sang at the Disney theatre in Los Angeles dec 10 2022. I hope he gets more and more well known and loved. He’s very active against bullying. Super nice guy to everyone. Incredible voice!!!!!
I did hear Charlotte say that the first time she heard Jonathan sing he was on the other side of a wall. She thought, “I want to be a part of that!!!!!!!!

This young man is what we call a "wunderkind." Wonder Child. I sang opera for 25 years and was considered a wunderkind as well, but my voice was nowhere near as developed as his at this young age. It was very fun to watch this performance and the journey they both have been on.

From Jonathan’s humble beginnings with the support of his Grandmother,Mum and Father and let’s not forget his beautiful sister Charlotte he has grown into his very own. Making music with several class acts venturing now with Artisan Share and Diane Warren. His fans (the Fantoines ) have so much love and admiration for Jonathan and his whole family. I’ve travelled to see Jonathan not only in California but also to Toronto Canada. I missed his New York and whirlwind USA trip and was so sad. But he has not changed his heart 1 bit. It’s the thing we all fell in love with and his commitment with his fans surpasses all others. I hope you will sit back and research and see all Jonathan’s accomplishments and enjoy the gift he was given and now shares with everybody. ❤

Johnathan has taken up the mantle since the great Luciano Pavarotti left this world in 2007. So heartwarming to see younger generation of singers come up behind the all time best opera stars of yesteryears. There are still a few alive today, but at least we have people like Johnathan who continue to carry that torch, in honor of those great ones that are no longer here.

There are many videos on RUclips of him singing opera songs as well at songs from popular stage shows and movies. May I suggest 2 or maybe 3. She said to him, "You know I heard what you said about me Simon, & it really hurt, but I figured if my Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ forgave me for everything I did, I could forgive you! 8:26 The more I see this part from Simon, the more I think this was giving Jonathan a "pet the dog" moment to endear him to the audience. Everyone was thinking Charlotte was good but he was outstanding, and he was so nervous there was no chance he was going to go on without her. By being the "bad guy" and suggesting he drop her, he gets the moment to keep with her and move the crowd firmly behind him. If that was his intent (and the wink when he said yes to them both solidifies for me that it was), it worked like a charm.
Say what you will about Simon, he's good at taking a talent and making them into a star...

You need to listen to all of their sets on talent, she really shines in the second song they did.

Simon's assessment of them as duo was correct, because Jonathan can sing so many operatic songs that just don't lend themselves to 'pop duets'.

The female judge is Alesha Dixon, she was in the girl group Mis-Teeq back in the very early 2000's. She's a great judge with a very rememberable laugh.

The beautiful black woman in the show is Alisha Dixon. She was in the British pop group named Mis-Teeq. They had a few hit songs, but the most popular one is Scandalous.

Simon does not sugar coat anything. When he says Charlotte is good, he means it; however, Johnathan is a superstar.

I loved this. They were the last act of the day and blew them away. My eyes went into autoclean. They went on to record and you wouldn't believe how he progressed into a world renowned crossover tenor who is now a multi-millionaire.
