God bless you brother Midegah, welcome to the Church of Jesus Christ! Wonderful to hear your testimony of healing. My wife was paralyzed, then healed after anointing in this church, through the healing power of Jesus. All glory to God. Steven and Brian, thank you for your openness and sincerity, may God continue to bless you in doing the Lords work.

I served a mission for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints in Canada and spent an entire year among Native Americans on their reserves. So it seems that we too are fulfilling Joseph Smith’s charge to minister among the laminate remnants.

It is not just about the restoration of the Gospel, and sharing the Book of Mormon, it is also about restoring a people. Read the 10th article of faith, and reread 2 and 3 Nephi. Don't know how I missed the 2 missions.
And, we never talk about D&C 133:26-28. Who are "their" prophets, when the tribes come from the North, East, South and West? Shouldn't we keep our eyes and ears open?
In 2 Nephi, 3 it seems clear that Joseph Smith is Joseph son of Joseph who will bring forth the Book of Mormon. But I never noticed Joseph is promised a spokesman. Are we looking for that person?
Chief Midegah is not making any such claim. But, there is certainly a lot of interesting developments....

    • @mlg74
      @mlg74 2 дня назад

@ awesome insights. I never thought of the spokesman it talks about in 2 Nephi 3. That is something I am going to ponder.
As far as the new Jerusalem, yesterday I was reading Ether 13. It seems clear therein that the new Jerusalem will descend from heaven at the 2nd coming of Christ, according to ether and “great and marvelous were the prophesies of ether” according to Moroni. He also speaks of those coming from the north countries at the time the new Jerusalem descends. So the people we are looking for, the Zion people, whose garments are white from the blood of the lamb, will be post 2nd coming. That is all millennial prophecy from ether. So unfortunately we must wait for the second coming for the final gathering but we can do some of the gathering now in temples.

Congratulations on your baptism, Sunday, Bro. Midegah and welcome to THE Church! I wasn't able to attend the spiritual conference in AZ last weekend, but was able to see you speak Sat. afternoon via RUclips courtesy of the Mesa branch and was both enthralled and moved by your story - in particular, the awakening of the Lehite nation and the things that are to come in the very near future. It's an exciting time we are in, as we are witnessing the Lord's hand moving as prophesied in both the Bible and BoM, with the latter day events coming into focus. I look forward to meeting and communicating with you and wish you tremendous blessings in your new journey and walk with Christ a.k.a. The Peacemaker. God bless!

Super hard journey deconstructing the LDS narrative while trying to not throw out the baby with the bath water. In the end, TCOJC has been a breath of fresh air and a soft place to land. Not that it is all about church organization, but they really are on solid rock, the foundation of Christ, and they hold firmly to the iron rod of the Bible and Book of Mormon, not the arm of flesh. @@midegahogichidaa I have been having dreams of the spirits of indigenous people doing a rain dance on my land in North Florida (it is a deer preserve-I have yet to buy). My daughter also had a dream where she was be a witness of me accomplishing a great work for that Indian nation. In the dream, there was an Indian spirit who was assisting me to accomplish this great work for “the ancestors” who were to return to promised lands. I understand this work to be physical land and spiritual temple work done on their behalf. I think that the construction of the new Tallahassee temple-is part of a promise that was made to them.
After my husband passed away, I had a dream of driving to find where I was supposed to relocate. My truck, turned into a bicycle, as I road through a building. It was a theatre and I drove through the stage in the middle of a play. The theater was full of American Indians watching the play in the dark and I was in the spot light. I looked back and saw all eyes were on me. I figured I had messed-up their play, but then I realized, that I WAS THE PLAY, they had been there waiting for me to show up on the scene. These people are my husband’s ancestors through the Beck line. The dream instructed me to connect with a woman who would help me uncover a family secret which would link new members back into the Beck family. This family had been waiting for this secret to be told-so that temple work could be performed on their behalf.

I'm terribly sorry your local leaders completely dropped the ball, sounds like they hurt you profoundly, and I'm so sorry about that. To the LDS: If someone wants to leave and wants to join another religion, that is their right. Opposing their decision doesnt make your decision any more justified. Do as AofF says and let people choose what to believe in out of their own conscience. The time for persuasion never happens by becoming opponents. Only God is the judge.

@@jeremygunter8806 the LDS church in SLC cannot move to finish the gathering of the remnant of Israel in America because they have to, for the time being, be loyal to their ties to the Corporation of the United States of America. If the church ever finds its way away from this corporation hopefully in a peaceful way, then perhaps the church will be able to recognize Native Marriages that are not recognized by the federal government. If Midegah has to go this way I’m sure he is smart enough stay with the Lord and be gathered by him. The church simply cannot do this gathering of the remnant of Israel until they (the L-DS Church)have removed their loyalty to the corporation that has been so corrupt toward Native Americans.

19:31 to answer his question: No, God loves all the churches, and he uses all the churches for his purposes. But there is only one church that has the authority to perform the ordinances that have the correct doctrine as sanctioned and taught by Jesus himself to a prophet who taught us. And still teaches us. And that’s the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints.
I know this is hard for people to hear, but that’s the doctrine we believe and if you don’t believe that, then you don’t believe the doctrine. And that’s fine, you can believe what you want, but there are consequences to belief and excommunication is one of those, if it does not lineup with the litmus test of the baptismal interview questions.
It makes more sense to me that God would have order in his house. Rather than chaotic accept everyone without standards to rise to and show true faith.

read Revelations bc there is more than 1 church that is warned over this rhetoric. When a church is matured it has opened doors to the world and practices inclusivity bc Yeshua is the church and he walked openly.
And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely.

68 Whosoever declareth more or less than this, the same is not of me, but is against me; therefore he is not of my church.

@ you have a good heart, but this is not correct. Jesus Himself set up the authority for the ordinances of salvation to be done through priesthood keys. Joseph Smith’s History tells us that. The purpose of God’s kingdom was to do these ordinances for the deceased under the direction of those keys, as he was told.
There is good that can come from inclusivity, but salvation doesn’t come by that. It is through Jesus Christ by obedience to the laws and ORDINANCES of the gospel…by those who are given authority…by the laying on of hands. Ordinances are real and authority is real. And it is had only in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Yes, God uses all churches to do good works, but the authority is here.

    • @zionmama150
      @zionmama150 7 дней назад +1

@ i invite you to read Article of Faith 3, 4, 5, & 6. The priesthood keys isn’t personal authority, it is God’s authority only, given by laying on of hands by those in authority given them by laying on of hands as Joseph was. This is the way. And there is no other way under heaven unless it is a fake way and a deception. Because this is Jesus’s way.
Good things can be done in all churches. But salvation ordinances are only authorized by Jesus’s servants and can’t be just made up and performed by pretended apostles. Watch carefully. Study up and use discernment. Repent of your sins and seek learning by study and by faith. You’ll see.

If you research this, you're going to get different perspectives. Many historical views point with the Ghost Dance movement have it starting from Wovoka, but when you read the accounts of those at the event, you get a different perspective.
This is from a publication dated in 1891 just after the event called "Messiah craze."
"The ' Messiah Craze.' - Several accounts printed in newspapers correspond to the statement of Lieutenant Phister, elsewhere noticed, that the Messiah was to be found in Nevada."
A Native American member of our church is related to one of the chiefs that attended this event. The story goes many of those chiefs' work has been done in the Temple. How many spirits of Native Americans has asked for their work to be done by other branches of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? I would have to say 0. They don't do that work, no body does except for his church. The Cherokee know about this work (Enteral marriage and baptism for the dead). This understanding has been passed down from their fathers.
There is only one church today that is performing that work for all, including for the children of Lehi.

Some people receive the opportunity to join in this life and other people receive the opportunity to join in the next life. This is why we do temple Sealings for those who are dead-so they too can receive the blessings of the Celestial Kingdom. The Lord judges the heart. I am sure your mission and intent is to unite. However, the way you are addressing our Church-is not achieving those ends, but rather diminishing those ends.
I also have a mission to fulfill. I have been having instructive dreams about American Indians for sometime. It is hard not to force the Lord’s hand concerning what events should be happening and when they should be happening.
Isaiah prophesied, “that the glory of Jacob would be brought low” and the “burden of Damascus would be taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.” We know that is what happened with the Tribe of Judah, but the Tribe of Ephraim is also part of the glory of Jacob. Isaiah tells us that “The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus.” As well as, “And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.”
Just like the Jews were taken off their Promised Land by other Nations and put into bondage, the Indians (descendants of the Tribe of Ephraim) were also taken off their Promised Lands by the US government, being placed into bondage by living on the reservation.
The Restoration of the Gospel was to be achieved, through the Tribe of Ephraim, coming to America from Gentile Nations. The Jews and Ephraimites living on the Promised Lands absolutely play a role in our unification, however this is only made possible, through the restoration keys, Joseph restored and handed down to Brigham Young, and other prophets until this day.
We see how the Promised Lands are dedicated by prophets and apostles. The people who are ready to be restored to those lands also have to follow the Spirit and respect the Lord’s timing, while accomplishing their divine mandate. Trust in the Lord, wait on His timing, follow His direction, acknowledge His hand, listen to His prophets, and He shall direct your paths.

There are far too many outside the L-DS church who have seen His face, walk with him, and are given miracles that defy man's knowledge to think they (the L-DS) are the only ones so blessed. In fact I have seen more miracles outside than inside. Scriptures tell us it is unbelief which brings about the lack of such blessings. @@zionmama150 if you think Jesus is coming just to save the 18 million that “believes” in the BY version of the book Mormons!”??? With that arc reference.
With only half participating is church attendance?
And most of the youth fall away after they move away from their parents.
So who is in that arc, you speak so highly speak of?
18,000,000 divided by 50% (actively rate)= 9,000,000 divided by 25% for youth that fall away even though the stats say it’s more than that.
(The average always is around 500 with 150 in weekly attendance)
That leaves you with 6,750,000 in that arc.
Did you also know that between the years 1980 and 2020 we only gained 8 million members?
      The timeline is as follows…-ish
With about 4 million converts between 1980 to 2000.
And with technology about 4 million between 2000-2020.
With technology we had the same amount of converts as the 20 year period from the 80s and 90s.
Hmmmmm, with technology…I would guess there would be a spike…
Especially with the “raising the bar” and “lowering the age” of missionaries that coincided with the technology time period.
To be clear, I’m in the same ark as you, but your words are not of the Saviors.
And with those stats….hmmmmm, it’s definitely “interesting” to say the least.
Because it doesn’t seem like are ark is sea worthy of the Lords Glorious work.
      But maybe it will change.
Only the Elohim and the Savior know. Not you, or even the Prophets
The Saviors coming back to save as many of Their Children as possible.
For you to elude that this son of God, Midegah, is not safe in the ark you speak of is quite prideful.
You know not Gods Glory for his children.
Only Mormons, that are in line with BY’s version…are safe????
      That’s what you’re saying…
Seems like you may be putting traditions in front of the Glory of God.

The peace that passes all understanding. You’re pretending to unify while really creating contention. and the contention is against the Lord’s church. The spirit of the accuser, throwing the darts and slings at the real Samuel the Lamanite, the True Church which was set up to warn the people. Eventually the lord will tell us to shut our mouths and send our missionaries home and quit preaching to the hardened generation of accusers who put politics before prophets of God
