I used to have so much division between myself and my husband due to the modern days ideologies that put husbands and wives in constant conflict. This almost broke my marriage. Fortunately I've been listening to alot of messages from Ps. Kay that has helped to reshape my mindset and save my marriage. By the grace of God I'm trying to apply his wisdom and Bible truth that's helped me build a better home and peace has returned to our home. Thank you pastor Kay. Most women are working so hard because they don’t want to be treated badly by a man, which has been the norm for years. Our mothers and great grand mother’s went through so much pains and the modern woman is a product of that pains. They are trying to be like men so as not to go through what their mothers went through. Men should be spoken to as well.

I also believe that women should be careful about who they settle with but some of us believe we can change men and settle with men without value
What pastor is trying to say is that women should stop doing things that men do it doesn’t fit you and it can cause damage because of your body make up Pastor talks about men too so there is no partiality

That’s a good message. I definitely agree with you. My husband and I are both lawyers. When we were younger I worked hard but once we hit forty I realized I couldn’t go on with private practice like before and my husband kept going. In the end I cut my job to once a week and taking care of the home while he is unstoppable. You can’t compete with men

I don't think modern women are intentionally trying to "compete" with men. I think we are just trapped in the capitalist economic construct.
Most families can't survive on a single income. We NEED dual income to achieve a decent quality of life.... not a luxurious lifestyle.... a decent lifestyle.
I do agree that there needs to be balance, and we need to contract differently in our life partnership.
Your message comes as a confirmation I made the right decision.

God bless you for this teaching PK. These are truths we often neglect to tell ourselves. The advocacy for women's rights is great, but the extremes of the movement are becoming popular and its often painful to see believers fall for these lies. Sound teachings like this are great, they complement prayer and bible study which help boost self-esteem. With so much information out there, FOMO is too easy. The standards for a "real woman" change so much. I hope more women are blessed by this. Our confidence isn't in following trends or filling "gender" quotas set by companies and governments, it should firmly be in God. There should be no shame in conforming to the Bible standards of a woman.

You are so full of Wisdom sir. That statement you made struck me. I always tell d men close to me that what is d benefits of money you made without a happy home. And I always tell them the one you said in one of your videos that most successful men are not successful in marriage. Most of them seem not to care. Through their actions. They only care about money because d way I look at it,d only thing most of them can offer in relationships is money. And they feel when they have it,they can control other things not knowing things have changed. Women are now making their money, except for few who still believes they should rely on men to buy maggi etc. God should pls forgive me,if am wrong,d major divorce rate to me is caused by men. Due to infidelity,Ego,not ready to learn & adapt new behavior etc. Keep helping us to sanitize d world/relationship. Yes. They believe 2 billion is important to having a happy home. It is well.

The pressure is so bad now even for nursery school kids, I had to tell my child teacher - We should be teaching boys and girls to be resourceful to themselves and others around them not just ‘independent’ which is now just tilting to selfishness

I became a single mom and the pressure was there to work and place the children in boarding school baby sitters and didn't really build a bond with my boys and when I realized a few years ago that I was a mother who is supposed to be a nurturer they were already out of the house and now praying to build and spend quality time with them both. They told me Mom we are striving to build our lives and will make time when we can. Please moms listen to Pst his so right. But I know things are turning for me and my children to make it a priority to want to spend quality family time together. It is well. Thank you, sir.

The woman Carrie’s more than the womb, she Carrie’s an egg with half of the child’s DNA , I agree tht women are fulfilling more masculine roles but not because we want to but because men are falling short of their responsibilities. Women are being given the same opportunity as men in the workplace. Therefore a woman can deliver just as much as a man in the work place. However, in a home its a different matter. The role of a man and a women are clearly defined. And those roles need to be respected and adhered too. Amen

Great points. So much wisdom distilled here. Pastor K, please do one for men too oh! They also have an identity crisis. It's a pity that any woman would want to compete with a man. It's not worth it. A woman's highest aim is to be to live the full expression of herself. That will sometimes mean breaking social boxes.

I do not completely agree with this message. It’s missing something. I understand that both the man and woman have different roles. In most cases the woman commits almost or 100% to their roles but the husband fails to respect that level of commitment because of this type of message “it is a women’s role”. I believe that the modern women has turned to the need to be independent because the men use the woman’s dependency and vulnerability that stems from their commitment in their homes, against women. Until men start to understand the commitment and sacrifices a women makes and truly respect and appreciate it, we will continue to see women push more for independence. Men have to take accountability for their role in how the modern women have chosen to behave/ hustle. As humans, we are born to adapt, men can be intentional at appreciating women and being respectful of their roles just as most women respect the men’s roles to hustle and provide.
