Thanks for your look at this bike and for Honda fa-fa-fa-finally bringing it to us here in the US and it really is about time as we are the OG Honda trail bike riders, that little bike is truly, watch out for the overused word, iconic. And kudos to Honda for modernizing with a bigger engine and better brakes and tech while maintaining its classic look and I agree, the Dax is the best looking of all the little bikes. And it was called the Dax when I had a 50cc street-legal version at age 15 in West Germany when I was an American teen military dependent and it was the go-to motorcycle for all the Army brats because it was readily available and affordable and street legal for us at 15 and that was freedom on two-wheels, so much fun as we'd ride them on city streets and country roads and trails in the woods on weekdays when Germans were not doing their hikes and group walks. And getting back to the new Dax, HondaPro Kevin here on YT did some vids on modified Daxes, so, yes, so much will be out there on the after-market. Who knows, maybe I'll get one and then a DG box swingarm and FMF pipe for that true '70s 125 Elsinore experience, the days. 😀

Someone also said on here about the fender being down on the tire I agree that in the Chrome Sade cover looks hideous. The same goes with the XR650L this year looks like a Chinese clone
"It's not super fast" -- no the truth is that it is insanely slow, the usable top speed will be ~50, and you will have cars ripping by you in town on any road marked 35 and up. Think twice before buying a toy this slow -- you should have a specific use case for something like this.
In the Philippines the Honda XRM 125 with dual discs and 17" wheels is $1,300 USD otd. 95% of bikes are 125-160 cc, bikes outnumber passenger cars/trucks at least 10:1. My XRM easily goes 90 kph one up, 80 kph 2 up, which is more than enough. Often see 3-5 people on a 125 here. However, in Canada this would be a city bike.
The honda grom is the most sold by bike honda in America right now. It's not that big of a problem if your not on the highway. This bike is the same speed as the grom.

Don’t like any chain bike.
That's like most bikes.
Not much of a detailed review.
The title says “First ride”
Way overpriced
Can you say road kill.
Overpriced and overrated 😢
Pound for pound, my electric razor has more power then this thing!!! lol
Kinda ugly tho..I do like the fuel economy and that's just about it we'll for me..I rather the Grom or the monkey instead..
"It's not super fast" -- no the truth is that it is insanely slow, the usable top speed will be ~50, and you will have cars ripping by you in town on any road marked 35 and up. Think twice before buying a toy this slow -- you should have a specific use case for something like this.
Mostly agree. Wish Honda would give us a slightly larger version. Maybe 175cc. They're just not realistic for US roads. At least not stock version.

Sorry but in India I could move my whole family across country with this.
Langsam? Meine fährt 115 km/h ! An der Ampel starte ich damit jedem Auto weg bis ca. 60 km/h. Mit 100 km/h in die Kurve mit 55° Schräglage!
