Glad to see you're still doing well, and happy to see Nathan recognized here on your channel too! He's done some great things with your build concepts, always entertaining to watch!
Awesome to see you! Your videos were a huge part of me getting into the hobby, and then passing on knowledge to many other people. So your assistance has been multiplied. I've wondered what happened to you. Is Ed okay, I wondered? Thank you so much for posting this short update and letting us know how you're doing. Also for pointing out the other channel where the work continues.
I can only fully agree with these words. It's so nice to hear of you again. To the new captain on board: all systems are nominal, you can engage at will!😆🤗🤗
Ed, you've helped inspire and instruct hundreds/thousands of RC pilots out there. I'm currently in the process of taking my private pilot license and a big portion of what led to this is thanks to you. Hope you're living an awesome life! Feel free to share more content about you with your audience, we care not only about your creations but also about yourself.
Thanks for the update, Ed! I'm glad you're doing well. I've built several foam board planes, did some modifications like adding a landing gear, tried different wings, etc., and all of them flew well. I've even used some of them for intro training because of their durability. I believe your contribution to the hobby is far greater than any of us realize. Wish you the best!
Welcome back! You and Nathan inspired me to this hobby. Im actually learing step by step electronics and creating my dream rc airplane. I have build two of them but they didnt survive haha, im working at new project. This time it will be supported by flight controller. Flying manually is not easy when you noob;)
Thanks for everything, Ed! Your designs and videos have been superb! I have learned so much from them and enjoyed every minute. Thank you, best of luck, and I hope to see you again soon! 🤗
Thank you so much for those videos. I really enjoyed them. They truly embraced the spirit of the hobby back in the 20-teens. Your zen and love of the building, experimenting, and flying shone through. The channel has been very very much appreciated. Good luck on the CH750! You should be able to take off and land in any RC flying field. ;-) Thanks.
Good to see you back, Ed. I recently completed my first scratch built plane -- an adaptation of your Photon. Couldn't have done it without your excellent videos. Good luck with your scale plane.
You have been missed! Thanks for passing this channel on Nathan, looking forward to more of his content and pleas, keep us posted on your activities!!! 👍👍
Thanks for all you've done over the years. You're one of my big hobby inspirations. And thanks for passing the torch to keep the content going. That can be a hard thing to do.
So great to see and hear you. You are the reason i picked up the hobby. Followed your step by step vids and i cant tell you how amazing and helpful they were. I truly hope step by steps and ground up explainers continue to be in the channels future for amateurs like me. All the best to you and yours!!
bittersweet update. Glad to see you're doing well and blue skies for the home built Zenith CH750. You'll never know the true impact and reach you had. (Not to mention how much Dollar Tree Foam stock rose thanks to your channel.) Thanks for sharing your love of flight with those of us who share the passion for flight, but lack the know how. You created a lot of opportunity for the common man to experience the freedom of flight.
Been following Nathan for a while and glad to see he's getting the recognition he deserves! Hope you're doing well Ed and hope we get to see the zenith build!
Ya, I really enjoyed the vids and built all your stuff many years ago. My AXON is still in rotation in my fleet!! I have had to replace the vertical stabilizer once or twice but for a 10+ year old FOAM BOARD, home built, long range plane it has been a joy! You've been a joy! I wish you all the best!!
Good to see you're well mate. Have been missing you a lot. Take care and stay safe. Thanks for everything you did for the community. Best wishes from across the pond to you and your family. Take care pal. ❤❤❤❤❤
This is an awesome move and it's great to hear an update on such a legend in the hobby. I'm going to get back to my vtol Ansley PD project with this new motivation.
Hello Ed. I echo the sentiment of so many of your fans. You have been a part of our family, and we have enjoyed the time my son and I have spent watching your videos, and flying foam board planes. We hope to see more videos, and wish you nothing but the best. God bless you and your family.
Thanks for the upload Ed nice to see you! Congratulations to Nathan for this well deserved inheritance. Looking forward to future content from you both!
I saw this notification just now and had to watch. Good to hear from you Ed. I’ve actually completely downsized after we sold our home 18 months ago and recently got rid of all RC gear as we now prepare to hit the road next month to Fulltime RV. I’ve not given up hope to get back into it, at some point on the road I hope to have the room to store just one plane and the gear to fly it.
Hello sir, I have been watching your videos and made my planes with your wing design and CG balancing. It is perfectly helpful for me to build my planes. Am glad that you back again with new updates. Thanks for your valuable videos. Have a great day.
My first successful scratchbuilt plane had an Armin wing, and I still use your techniques all the time. Thank you for everything you've taught us over the years without any expectation of a return. It's been a fun and educational ride. I'm looking forward to your scale STOL build :) Coincidentally, I recently hotwired the shape of the Zenith CH801 airfoil and am itching to put it on a plane soon.
Seeing an update from your channel and knowing you’re well brings a genuine smile to my face. I got into RC a few years ago and found your channel through Samm Sheperd (RIP) and really was pushed along by your methods and advice. Today I am about 1 year away from finishing my Aero Engineering Degree. You are one of the RC G.O.A.T.s.
I was just returning to the hobby after a few years off. My old synapse wing has been rattling around my shop for a while. I came back to remember how to put the plane back together again. My hope is that you will leave up these older videos so I can get my knowledge back up. I will also check out the channel you spoke of. I am glad you are doing well. Thank you again for passing your insights and inventions.
Thank you so much for your videos! I learnt a lot and got loads of inspiration for my own builds. I built quite a few planes using your techniques and enjoyed crashing them without remorse, since I could always pick up the pieces and build new ones. Many made videos, but none were more inspiring than yours!
Hello Ed, your descriptions of how to build, your obvious enthusiasm, your undoubted experise all inspired me to start getting into this hobby. I am a total new newbie but will be attempting to buid a replica of your Photon design and flying it in the south of Devon, England. Thank you sir and best wishes for your future.
Great to see you Ed and know are all right. Thanks for all the inspiration you provided to so many. Found the your amazing archive just a couple years ago. Been following Nathan for a while and the inspiration he has added with his own designs. Maybe one day we'll see both of you sharing some flying, or a build together.
Ed, sincerely appreciate all you did over a decade ago. It fueled so many of our adventures/experiments during COVID (particularly while furloughed). Nathan has also been doing fantastic work and I'm happy to see him continue your legacy. Can't wait to see your future builds. PS, Arizona is hot as hell right now!
Thank you for the years of videos, not only the interesting planes and contests, but reminding fliers that building your own planes is a large part of the hobby, but it doesn't have to complicated or expensive. I learned a lot from your channel.
Glad to see you're back and doing well. After following you for so long when you were "Out West" (and building a LOT of your designs...!), I often wondered if you were still flying...! Nice to "Pass the Torch" to someone else, so others can get inspired by the ART of R/C Flying/Building. Hope to see more of you in the future (and keep that Tesla runnin', ya hear?). Lol...
Great to see you're well -- I spent many, many hours over the years building and flying model airplanes using what I learned from your channel/guides. I remember the 'Noob-Tube', the 'Armin Wing' and on & on when you were here in AZ...you are a legend in the hobby. Thank you so very much for taking the time to share your knowledge with us. Best wishes to you and yours.
This is great news! EA was where I got my core experience to build, crash and learn and stick with the hobby, which I enjoy so much today. The community will benefit greatly with the continuation of the EA channel. Aerostuff, Nathan , is the perfect successor, and I enjoy the content of his channel as well. Thank you both!
Me alegra verte despues de 5 años cuando empece con el mundo RC y me inspiraste en cantidad de modelos, tu y Andrew Newton habéis aportado muchísimo a la comunidad!!
Thanks for the explanation, Ed! I've enjoyed your videos and hoped your content would remain even though you are no longer focusing on the channel. Nathan seems like an excellent choice to carry the baton into the future.

I was wondering where you were 😮. Glad to see you back and full scale takes a lot more time and tooling, Aircraft Spruce is the ticket 😊

Thanks for all the wisdom! You solved a lot of the nagging "huh how do I do that" questions when I got into the hobby :)
