    The exhaust was full of coolent , took a while to steam out

    Mine was doing the same thing. Injector 8 was showing something but they didn't think that was the problem. I Replaced all the injectors and it was fixed. That was after my egr was deleted.

    How long did it take to blow out? Did you have some of the coolant coming out of the exhaust?

    No way your head gasket survived that much coolant!
