To the people who are upset about the Fire Engine blocking lanes of Traffic I am going to point out that the absolute number one killer of all first responders (Police, Firefighters, Ambulance crew, odot workers, etc) is people driving their cars into a working scene. They positioned their Engine perfectly to protect their lives and the lives of those in the crash as best they could. As a Volunteer Firefighter myself this was done perfectly. Great driving keep up the good work!
Their lives come first. Anyone complaining about the truck should step in their shoes with people not paying attention on the highway... I'd bet their tune changes after that.
All people in any kind of rescue service in what ever country are the true heroes,I salute you where ever you are, thank you so very very much for being out there, when, and or if somebody need your help, you will come to assist us :) :) :) PS.Awesome driving down the offramp DS.
That was some great driving! It is nice to see that even drivers on the other lane are stopping (I am not sure if they are required to or not, but it makes things a lot easier, I guess. :D) Greetings from germany and thank you to all life savers!
Both lanes of traffic are suppose to pull over to the side and stop but if you cant do that, try your best to get out of their way, but if you cant do either of those things your suppose to keep driving and when you get a chance get out of their way. I was basically raised in a firehouse
Normally I use a piece of an EMS glove because it's easy and dampens any vibration. I recently got the new GoPro and it has a new mount that's designed to eliminate any vibration so hopefully it'll solve the problem. I'm not sure but it may be possible to buy the new mounts and use them on older models as well.
AWESOME DRIVING by the Chauffeur not mention knowing the roads and knowing exactly where he/she was going and where he/she had to be at the accident. KUDOS to a well trained firefighter and department. THANK YOU ALL FOR WHAT YOU DO!
It's a lot like how I drove the firetruck in chicago. Much of the time I said screw it and took the on coming lanes. As fast a possible and still be safe. I sometimes had to pinch myself, "these guys are paying me to do this? I do it for free ! " It was a blast !
You honestly get used to it really, imagine attaching yourself emotionally to every call, extremely exhausting and demoralizing. In short you learn to stop caring about peoples problems and more on doing your job correctly to save said people
Nice maneuvers, back in the day we only got away with opposing traffic operations occasionally. Most jurisdictions are ok with it every day, now! Good job and thanks!!👍🇺🇸
it's north Raleigh....very nice place to live. (but the drivers kinda suck...the whole reason that accident happened is because people don't know how to merge lanes LOL)
My dad was a firefighter and he told this story where, he was driving with the captain in the passenger and they hit some traffic on the highway, so he had to pull off to the side and drive like half on the road and half off the side, he used to say that’s the day he was known as a great driver 😂
Ok as a driver myself, I will give credit, this driver did very well. Personally I would have slowed down a little bit at some of those intersections, bit the driver did real well. Otherwise I don't have many complaints. Now where I'm at, we couldn't get away with some of that due to safety concerns, bit each state is different.
Gee pickup truck driver drives for 900 feet before stopping. Even though oncoming cars are stopping he just keeps driving. La dee da He must think everyone’s an idiot, but him.
Way to block traffic like a boss.. dat coulda bn worse then wat it was. Awesome driving and bn safe at da same time, plus blocking those lane kept the first responders safe...
You are not wrong Alex. Remember responding to an incident on the M1 in the early hours. (Was a fatality sadly). Minus 4°C. Very poor visibility. I was doing 70+ under blue lights, was still being overtaken!!! You don't have to travel far to encounter a-holes on British roads unfortunately.
At 1:26 the Black Pickup Driver must be deaf. He had enough Time to give proper Way. Instant this he is blocking the Firetruck at the Corner. Sould be Fines. Btw. What is the Fine at your County for Blcoking an EMCV ?
In New York State the fine is $275 plus court costs ($125 usually) and 3 points on your license for failing to yield to a responding emergency vehicle. (NY Vehicle & Traffic Law 1144-a)
Considering how european firefighters have to deal with roads which are a bit thighter than this runway-sized highways, this was like a pleasant drive on a racing track
Here only driver not single one hero. Here everyone hero who's listen siren nd stop vehicle nd give him free road. Unfortunately in india u not found mny

Right, if it wasn’t for that kind of positioning, I wouldn’t have a father anymore
Everybody acts like their 20 minutes lost is worth somebody's life.
Their lives come first. Anyone complaining about the truck should step in their shoes with people not paying attention on the highway... I'd bet their tune changes after that.
Sky in every country they got laws and rights to do something. In my country they block the road with the heaviest car to avoid more problems
Sky the number one killer of police officers is traffic accidents where typically speed and not wearing a seatbelt is a major factor.
Idc what anyone says if my life was on the line this is who I would want driving
Thanks for the support!
LOVE THE DRIVING! STAY SAFE BEST WISHES 😀😀😀😀😀👍
I would want somebody that... you know, lives a bit closer to me :)
Damn right
IDC what anyone says, don't risk innocent peoples lives to get to my accident scent 30 seconds faster if my life was on the line.
Dude got there so fast the fire hadn't even started yet
Fireman: Opens compartment full of axes
Also Fireman: pulls out normal broom
That’s how it is for most crashes lol
It is to clean up the glass and debris that was thrown all over the place in the crash
Lol
GET SOME!!! Haha
Jobtown
I've never seen a fire truck go the opposite way down an exit ramp!!
Jason Mogollon Now you have! 😉
Well, now you have!
Where you been under a rock?
Probably because that's the fastest way to the scene. Probably would have to go miles out of the way otherwise.
Hell yeah.
Wow whoever drove that engine did a great job!
Respect to anyone that can whip around such a big vehicle
For sure.
These guys are the real heroes. Thank you all!
Those are some damn good racing lines, in tight out wide
Fire truck racing
Shoutout to the cars getting out of the way and slowing down.

not in los santos 🤣
Von fuck off XD
This should be used as a training video, the proper way to drive safe but with a sense of urgency. Well done!

It depends on the state laws. But usually if there is a some type of physical barrier or a multi lane road the opposite side doesn't have to stop
This provides a new perspective on why it is important to pull over when you hear emergency sirens.
The only city where the civs are like:"yessir the road is yours"
Literally gives me chills when people are contributing.. and great driving there
Bit of vibration noise on this one. It was awesome driving though.
Glad you liked it. I usually put something between the camera and mount to prevent the vibration but forgot this time, unfortunately.
B. Mills what do you put between the mount and camera? I always get vibration and I don’t know how to make it stop

B. Mills Well you were going to Jobtown so I don’t think anyone would blame you for vibration noise lol
I noticed that too. Is that Truck from E-1?
They don't mess around with there driving, lol ! the good old days I sure do miss
I love wrong way driving :v
Famous last words
Maxximal LOL
Same here. I enjoy watching it. I have watched almost all opposite lane driving videos of fire trucks. 🤣 I can’t find anymore! Lol
then dont be mad if they respond to one of ur calls and they didnt came in time.
...when it's done right.
You drive very steady and straight on roads when your speeding WOW!
Huge 24,000 lb truck too lol. Balls of steel
Awesome driving. Haven't seen a video this good in a while!
Thanks for the support! More to come!
This is why I love fire truck. They’re big, badass, and when you see one coming at you really fast, your gonna move!
Thank you for your service ❤❤😁
That driver knows what's up
AWESOME DRIVING by the Chauffeur not mention knowing the roads and knowing exactly where he/she was going and where he/she had to be at the accident.

Wow....give that truck wings, I'll bet he could FLY it!! Amazing driving!!
Such beautiful roads.
LOVE the driving!
Glad you liked it!
The firefighters talking amongst themselves like nothing is happening.
Honestly though everyone has the same information so when you respond you just kind of chat about life while driving lol
dude, being a first responder you see alot of shit its just better to stay calm
Once you do it enough, there's nothing else to do, so at least don't sit there awkwardly and stay quiet.
There use to it
You honestly get used to it really, imagine attaching yourself emotionally to every call, extremely exhausting and demoralizing. In short you learn to stop caring about peoples problems and more on doing your job correctly to save said people
Dang you guys are FLYING! Impressive driving!
Nice maneuvers, back in the day we only got away with opposing traffic operations occasionally. Most jurisdictions are ok with it every day, now! Good job and thanks!!👍🇺🇸
You Americans are so respectful of getting out of first responders way
2:48 - me yelling MOVE at the monitor
I wish Australian drivers would react this well to emergency vehicles.
it's north Raleigh....very nice place to live.
(but the drivers kinda suck...the whole reason that accident happened is because people don't know how to merge lanes LOL)
Dumb cunts usually busy on their phones to know whats happening around them -.-

My dad was a firefighter and he told this story where, he was driving with the captain in the passenger and they hit some traffic on the highway, so he had to pull off to the side and drive like half on the road and half off the side, he used to say that’s the day he was known as a great driver 😂
This video should make anybody want to serve their community
That truck gets up and goes right from the start, impressive acceleration.

Thats some driving right there!!
DHFD!!!!! I miss yall!
If this was England you'd have drivers cutting you off and probably 10 cars following down the middle of traffic to skip the queue
even against traffic?
You are not wrong Alex. Remember responding to an incident on the M1 in the early hours. (Was a fatality sadly). Minus 4°C. Very poor visibility. I was doing 70+ under blue lights, was still being overtaken!!!
You don't have to travel far to encounter a-holes on British roads unfortunately.
England is alot better unless you are in London
Awesome driving . Name of the siren?
Federal Signal Q2B
Your videos are great man! Wish I could do them as well as you. Be great if I could get a video of my group going when we roll down to 64 highway

Reminded me of the scene where Tobey Marshal drove a Koenigsegg on the wrong side of the highway in the Need for Speed movie.
Nice work.
How does he reach the pedals with balls that big?
Got to love North Carolina

That's rush hour traffic? LOL! That's nothing!
That’s what I thought
