Another fantastic video, with great helmet cam coverage. Hope there were no injuries and everyone was okay. Keep the videos coming. We enjoy them all. Greetings from Lancaster, California.
Thank you for the (scary) ride along AND the helmet cam! Good job and a great video. I trust no one was injured in the wreck other than the car, the rocks, the fence and the person’s pride. Glad the building wasn’t involved.
Great video! That's a fiery crash. 3:56 may need a bigger caution "left turn" sign with a 10mph slower speed there and not behind bushes. The turn was immediately following an uphill so kind of sneaky. The street was at least freshly paved and painted vs the Google Map version.
I used to run with Roanoke County Fire Department Clearbrook Rescue Squad which is defunct now. We had bad wrecks US 220 South at Grahams Curve.

Seen a lot of these FireRescue50 videos and it seems to me the fire truck always turns right out onto the road when leaving the fire house. or at least 9 out of 10 times ... just an observation ...
I'm curious on the choice of rescue vs. engine as an assignment requested, if there was possible extension into a commercial structure like that. Does your engine not have rescue tools on it as well, so IC didn't request an additional engine? TIA for a response/explanation.
Educated guess here: my guess would be that Rescue 50 is due on the box for extrication purposes. When the First In Engine gives scene size up, that will determine if the WFD is declared.
These ride alongs are always the best!👍

Congrats on the red hat! Thanks for uploading all these great videos over the years

It’s a one way road lol
Possibly because the road is a one way.
@@samelewislol
@@samelewis Thats a good observation as well... 😂
Think they only go left if it’s a really urgent response as going left is the wrong way up a one way road
Another great video!
great video
We call the first siren sound the “mad max”.
getting it done!
Dang my pocket knife is sharper than that cutting blade
oh nah it looks like they forgot to hit the brakes 😭
Maybe they wanted to get to that back parking lot and decided a few boulders wouldn’t stand in their way….
Where are the occupants?
That ride made me nervous.
Me too. I found myself holding onto my sofa!
😎👍
Now why park in the middle of the road when there is plenty of room on the shoulder.

I’d rather have the heavy rescue enroute for extrication than an engine with limited rescue tools onboard. Again, that’s just an educated guess.
From what I know is because there was already 2 engine responding to the call but is also depends on the department
It’s a one way road
never pass on the right!
