  • Well friends, I absolutely loved this interview, and I mean it. I know I say it a lot, but this one was different. I interview lots of people on this podcast and I really feel like Dr. Dan Ratner and I see eye to eye on a lot of this.
We talk about so many powerful things that you aren't going to want to miss even a minute of this.
*The word "trauma" and what it means to have it "stuck" in your body.
*Column Work - dividing symptom underlying causes into three columns. Doubt. Emotions & Power. He also defines what "Core Narrative" means.
*Finding your CORE narrative and why that is important.
    *Finding your true identity.
*Coming off of Benzo's & Insomnia.

So good! I’ve shifted my mindset from chronic to “continuously acute”. My brain is loving this new way of thinking about these unrelenting symptoms.

This was such an illuminating interview! Dan is the creme de la creme of psychologists in the mind body space and your dialogue with him was wonderful Jen! I especially loved the last half hour...sharing your personal stories and how they relate to perfectionism and goodism will help so many viewers and listeners! 💗💐

Wow, listening to this podcast has really brought my mind body work to a deeper level of understanding!!!
The three narrative questions were spot on in helping me to identify where the inner workings of my mind body syndrome originated.
I loved when he said that “I was trained that being powerful was dangerous”
This has been the moral of my story, however thanks to my work with Jen, I am starting to meet Emily for the first time. Jenn is an amazing coach, and I am so blessed to have found her!

Wow! There was a lot of good stuff in there. I am looking forward to checking out Dr. Ratner's material. I think there is much that is Ratnerian that can become Johnsonian. The whole interview was encouraging and informative but unfortunately, the audio level was quite low for Dr. Ratner.

Right? I loved this interview. Unfortunately the audio is a bit difficult. I wasn't able to fix it.

Jen, can this work for chronic conditions that don't include pain?

Forget insomnia; how does a sixty-one year old deal with the severe pain of CPPS (pelvic pain) keeping him awake all night for weeks on end? Lack of regular, good quality sleep is itself a huge stressor and a roadblock in recovery, don't you agree?

It’s a road block, but not one that can’t be overcome! Keep doing the TMS work talked about on both our channels!
