Art Deco Vintage Bedside Tables Restoration - Veneer Damage & White Wash

  • These Art Deco Bedside Cabinets/Tables had a significant amount of veneer damage along with a finish that needed some attention. I used a white wash to reduce the orange colour typical of these pieces, after stripping them back and cleaning up the damage. #diy #artdeco #furniture #restoration

I'm so glad the door knobs turned out so well. Some flippers tend to replace the original knobs with the modern ones and sometimes it makes me groan from disappointment. I'm really passionate about the original knobs. :D

I really liked these knobs, quite unique. I am pleased they cleaned up okay as sometimes the finish dissolves and you are left kicking yourself for cleaning them!! Lucky that wasn't the case this time! Thank you for watching :)

They look so much 'cleaner' and fresh with the white wash. When you talked about the door knobs not being a 100% I don't think you should look at that as a negative because I think it's great they didn't turn out perfect (and I have O.C.D). They looked great, as did the cabinets. Great job.
