Hand shaping custom panels -fitment to finish

Alright so the panel is far from original. The next best thing is a custom panel that works. A lot of hammering and smoothing out required no instructions included for this sort or work. Go for it lads

May I make a suggestion. Clamp or tack weld 2 small blocks at right angles the dolly will stay put. Love the truck build

I figured out today i have the metal to build your version of this little profile machine just need metal for the dies that i will.pick up as soon as i can but i have a question when you put the second profile into did the metal warp or distort or did it just stretch where needed and the work looks great glad i found your channel

the most important thing to do when cutting the dies leave the 1mm gap in the profile area but on the flat spot it can touch flat , corners are the same leave enough gap for the thickness of sheet used 🤙🏻. cheers mate

Just found your channel, like your work. Was just thinking, you probably could have made a die that could make your bead and the 90` bend at the same time? Just a thought, and maybe a lot of work for a die you`d likely only use once. I`m starting one of those hammers as soon as i get my welding table rebuilt, the steel i need for the hammer frame is currently the short table legs on my table.
