    What is the difference between 2024 bmw suv xm and the 2024 bmw suv x5?

    I own a 2022 M5 Comp and I cannot imagine that power sitting in an SUV. Isn’t it sitting too high? Either way, the SUV is really nice.

      I’ve owned three X5M models, currently in this one. It isn’t too high, it hugs the road, due to its weight of over 5400 lbs. I’ve had it up to 164mph without any issues, it wanted more but I didn’t. It is an M5 lifted with more room basically.

      It’s not an elevated M5. It’s still a big SUV and no amount of gimmicks will change that. Sports cars are light and low to the ground for a reason.
      Porsche comes close to replicating the sports car experience but it too is not a sports car. It’s still a SUV.

      I've used to have an F90 comp. While I was having an annual service performed, I test drove a X5M competition. I wound up ordering one a few days later. Way more practical and the B&W sound system sounds much better in the X5M.
      So far, about 2 years now, it's the best car that I've ever owned. I have purchased approximately 27 new cars in my time.

    I just bought a preowned F85. I was concerned about it being to high strung on LA roads. The comfort mode is quite complaint.
    The car is absurd. In stock trim very docile, I just did the downpipes and mapping, whole other monster.
    Also comfort mode is really comfrotable and I live in LA and roads arent great and it’s very drivable.
    Ive owned few interesting cars, 5200lb 700hp wasnt exactly something I was thinking about.
    Great review.

    The BEST would be an ALPINA XB5…the more comfortable and daily M. Waiting for it to be created and reviewed…if ever 😢

    Why does the steering wheel look lean? I don't like it. It's usually beefy.

    Buy the X5 M60. This thing it too firm as a daily driver.

    •  2 месяца назад +1

      Exactly! Some places have better roads than the other. But this vehicle in nyc is a terrible daily. Get the regular V8. Much softer suspension but still great sound.

    • @CalvinK225
      @CalvinK225 2 месяца назад

      Because it’s a real M, not a 60. You have to know how to set the modes for daily driving. I’ve owned both, one is a true M beast, one is not. It isn’t firm in the correct settings.

      @@CalvinK225
      It is firm the most comfortable of settings. The 60 is faster than the last X5M generation so the idea one needs more power is ridiculous given the needs of a daily driver. This is why so many reviewers prefer the M550 sedan and the 60 over the full on M cars.
      The full on M cars come with larger wheels as standard. Anyone who knows cars knows what that means for ride comfort/quality.

      Depends on what you like. When I drive mine in comfort it’s not bad for the family. My daily driving though it’s always in full attack mode. If you’re looking for comfort def get the M60. If you love the aggressive feel when driving you’ll be disappointed with the M60 and you’ll want the X5M comp. Def glad I opted for the full M

    • @bluestfalcon419
      @bluestfalcon419 27 дней назад +1

      Ride quality is not as bad as people make it out to be. Try it out and see if you like it. Don’t listen to people trying to talk you out of the x5M because they want to justify their FOMO.

    I own a 23 x5mc. The downside is craftsmanship, my car has defects everywhere, small tear on leather next to hood latch, dimples on glove compartment, brake caliper has a scratch, tiny scratch on glass roof, 1 wheel well has small paint peel and painted very thin almost no clearcoat, a little squeak while driving...I found all of this after delivery because you really can not tell unless you spend days in it. $150k car is just not acceptable.

      Did you buy it new?. Sound like you bought a used car. No way a brand new x5m would come with those type of defects
