my favorite thing to cook in the stone ware is a whole onion with bouillon cubes and little butter, salt and pepper to taste. I have cooked sweet potatoes too. Love it, especially good for a single person!!!

I just got mine for 1.99 at the 99 cents store. It works. I think it's because of your microwave. I did omelette with 2 eggs, onions, yellow and red bell peppers, bacon, and put the cheese in a pile in the middle, on top. Microwave 2:15 seconds and came out perfect! It shrunk a lot though. lol

Patrick Barton this works amazingly well i got for 2 dollars and so far my favorite recipe from the book is the french onion soup which is just below the baked onion trick
Angela Velazco I'm so glad Angela!! :-). I tried to be as enthusiastic and honest as I could about how great this is. From the book, my favorite is the onion trick, which is AMAZING, and the eggplant parmesan which is my very favorite. lol I just cooked 1 egg for about a minute 10 seconds and it was PERFECT but my microwave is very new, so I think you would have to do like 3-4 minutes with your old micro :p
I made the sausage potato and egg breakfast bowls in mines the same ones you get at the store
I'm using mine for Shrimp Scampi.

It should take a minute and a half for just eggs. Add some cheese before you cook it and it comes out better.

I had recently went to my local burkes outlet and found this for $2.50 i got two and opened one. for the egg omelet you did it wrong the recipe book says at the bottom if you use three large eggs add thirty or forty seconds

Nice one handed salt and pepper grinders. Where did you get them? Brand name?
no brand name. I found them on the aisle of a grocery store chain called publix. I thought they'd work well for my videos considering I use one hand to hold the camera.
