- I was told a young man in Ekiti state Nigeria generates electricity from stones I had to travel to the town to see for myself. at the end of the day I gave my own assessment and all can be found in this video.

I agreed with the boy completely that his generating the light from stone. His an invertor, what he need is someone with electrical background that help him to put it together and determine the risk involved and best way to handle it.

I listened to him before this time and he said his discovery is that when 2 stones are being smitten together, they always bring out light. This made him go further in his discovery. That if light can come out from sparking of 2 stones, then there is more to it. This can only be God giving wisdom and mystery hidden for many years.
This makes sense. Sparks occur when opposite charges (current) meet. And charges are what makes electricity. Its left for the Engineers to do more research on this and come out with more explanations. I wish someone could assist him in patenting this discovery

The radiation from uranium is just to heat water. What's generating the electricity is the steam, not the radiation. In all of these examples. They're all different methods of boiling water, to make steam, to turn a turbine, to generate electricity.

The university of Ibadan is over 75 years now with several professors of technology, physics, engineering, etc. Yet they cannot generate electricity for the campus. The same thing with all the other public universities in Nigeria. Many of them do research only to publish in international journals in order to get promotion to be professors. That's their ultimate. Then they retire and then die and their university depending on NEPA/TCN. Some of them can't even generate their own water.

You can do work with solar energy. In some cases you can create batteries and lights with salt water O_o. If you gather wood and burn it create a heat generator that creates electricity. All you need for electricity is to move a magnet around with some source of energy.

Not sure what to make of this, but if there's a stone that produces free energy, that's not necessarily good news for the Energy Companies. In fact, any other source that is likely to put them out of business would be very bad news. If you don't pay a businessman for something, he doesn't make a profit and will inevitably go bankrupt.

That's just it! Exactly what I was thinking about. It's the piezoelectric effect, a material or an element generating electric current when subjected to mechanical stress. Basically it's converting the stress/mechanical energy to electrical energy. We should also remember the laws of conservation of energy, which states that "Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed, but passed from one form to another". Therefore the only rational explanation to these phenomenon is that the stone is generating electric by converting another from of energy into it.
Or only soundwave that is sound pressure too. Maybe this was saw in video.
I would have liked to see the stone, wires, and a light bulb all in one shot and then see a demonstration that it really works.

Sadly the BBC discredited that story. They said it was a hoax. This is how Africans are discredited. The truth of the matter is that those stones in Congo are able to create electricity but because this would disrupt industries of big nations they cannot let this technology thrive. I learnt a government official from Ekiti state visited the boy and his report was that there was no way the stones could generate electricity. He, however didn't make a video to confirm his visit and findings.

In our country, there was a boy who made petrol from grass.
Turns out he was using sewage water to mix with the grass that had high algae in it. The algae produced methane and other combustible gasses that allowed the test engine to work.
