I like this Kimbrel guy. I predict he'll be one of the all time great closers, until he gets traded but then he'll still be really good. Then he'll get traded again, and he won't be quite as good and they won't let him be a closer anymore but he'll be a pretty solid reliever once he doesn't have to deal with the anxiety of closing anymore. Then there will be a pandemic and everyone will go crazy.
The Dodger's blew it for taking Kimbreal off the post season. He obviously was the only one who could have saved us. Sorry for what they did not having faith
Best closer in the MLB today. No doubt. Kimbrel had the best season in mlb history last year for any closer ever, according to his statistics. He has done even better this season. If he pitches as well as he has so far for the rest of his career he will go down as best closer ever. It will be hard/impossible to match Rivera's post season stats but Kimbrel has a chance of passing his regular season stats.
I so miss Kimbrel, I was hoping he would be a life long Brave. I’ve always been a fan. On September 27, Kimbrel recorded his 50th save of the season . It’s cool to me because September 27 is my Bday. I would love to see Kimbrel come back to the Braves. March 30 2013 I was lucky to be able to talk to Kimbrel. The Atlanta Braves played a game with the MS. Braves. One of the greatest days of my life.
Kimbrel is AWESOME! I'm a Yankees fan but go to different stadiums and took My kid to Fenway last year and was just hoping the Sox would be winning after 8 by 3 or less..and they did and he came in and delivered. I just find Him so fun to watch. Other than when they played the Mets in 86 that was the only time I rooted Sox Lol
Miguel Batista came across as arrogant. He wishes he had 1/10th the stuff Kimbrell has. You are in no position to criticize there Miguel. Batista coming in to 2013 has a career record of 102-115 with a 4.48 era, 41 saves, 1250 strikeouts & 899 walks in 1956 innings pitched with 2021 hits allowed. Craig Kimbrell has a career record of 11-4 with a 1.46 era, 89 saves, 283 strikeouts & 62 walks in 160 innings pitched and has allowed only 84 hits. Um, Miguel... you need to go sit down.
This video doesn't even show the extent of the craziness of Kimbrel's pitching style. When I saw him pitch for the Cubs a few years ago, he had this thing with spreading both his arms out so he looked like an eagle with its wings spread before he started his windup.
Sandro Bruni guys look like little leaguers against him in Boston. Hes thrown maybe 48, 50 innings so far in 2017 and there has been about 10 well hit balls
Haha Craig is the man. Seems like such a fun dude but dang I'd have to be in the batter's box against him. Just plum FILTHY. So glad he's a Brave, hope he's closing games for us for many, many years to come. Miguel Batista's part in this was hilarious too, haha.
i am proud to say this but.....i played Babe Ruth League baseball with Craig Kimbrel and i couldnt hit him a all.....i was saying he will be playin in the MLB one day and it happened and so glad he is playing for MY Baves HE IS A BEAST and i have witnessesd his power myself in the batters box
Batista did throw 8 scoreless innings in the 2001 World Series, but got a no-decision in his only start. It was game 5 & a game Arizona lost. So... you're wrong quiz kid. They didn't need him to win that World Series. They won because of Randy Johnson & Curt Schilling. Are you related to the guy or something? He was an average to below average pitcher most of his career. Craig Kimbrell is putting up the most gaudy numbers for a closer ever. He's a Cy Young candidate in '13. What don't you get?
Yeah, as if the D'backs couldn't have won the World Series without him. Big frickin deal on all those things you mentioned about him. Do you go and worship him and other ball players on Sunday too? LMAO
That is a cool story. Striking out to Kimbrel doesnt seem so bad now, does it? I have a similar story but it involves Jason Williams of the Angels. I know he is no Kimbrel. He was in same league as I was in Hish school. He played for Waipahu and I played for Campbell. Except I was 4 for 7 against him with 2 rbi's and 1 run scored. I used to also play basketball w/ Shane Victorino back in Waianae. Shane is as competitive as they come.
I remember how upset Kimbrel got when Phillies fans imitated him when he first came up with Atlanta. I guess he's grown up a little and looking forward to his return to the Park. I just hope his ERA is still above 5.
It was nice having a guy from Huntsville on the team and he enjoyed playing close to home. Since they blew the franchise up, I'm sure he's glad he wasn't forced to hang around like poor Freddie Freeman.
Funny how as soon as Miguel was like "Watch yourself" "Ok, I will" and it showed him doing it haha
damn what a great pitcher.. so sad to see him leave the braves org.
Yeah I really hope Freeman stays through the farm phase
James Y Freddie tossed me a 3rd out ball when he was in AAA
Not as a great as when he was with ATL. He's a bit of a head case in BOS.
James Y well the braves future looks set to me
hahaha "my leg does nat come up like that!" "watch yourself!"
" Watch yourself Kid* "
"I'm not a good imitator, but I'm a good criticizer" says Batiste, LOL
Pretty good Maddux imitation, but he needs to add that little hop Greg did to get into the fielding position that won him so many Gold Gloves.
OK to imitate Maddux. Now you gotta get each pitch within half an inch of where you want it. That's what you wanna imitate.
ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR AND REPENT JESUS LOVES YOU HE DIED FOR YOU SO YOU COULD BE FORGIVEN ASK GOD FOR FORGIVENESS AND REPENT!🙏🙏 AMEN.!!!!
I laughed when he did Glavine’s 😂 WE NEED KIMBREL BACK
I like this Kimbrel guy. I predict he'll be one of the all time great closers, until he gets traded but then he'll still be really good. The Dodger's blew it for taking Kimbreal off the post season. He obviously was the only one who could have saved us. Sorry for what they did not having faith
Haha! The Maddux was really good too with the chest exposure thing
My leg does not come up like that. Watch yourself.
We had to dump BJ's salary so we traded both Kimbrel and BJ Upton to San Diego.
I like how kimbrel stares at the batter
Best closer in the MLB today. No doubt. Kimbrel had the best season in mlb history last year for any closer ever, according to his statistics. He has done even better this season. I wanted to see Kimbrel unleash one of those 45 mph Glavine fastballs.
Kimbrel is AWESOME! I'm a Yankees fan but go to different stadiums and took My kid to Fenway last year and was just hoping the Sox would be winning after 8 by 3 or less..and they did and he came in and delivered. We need Craig back in Atlanta!!!!!!!
Best pitcher ever
the dislike is from miguel batista
Cool as FK post. Good way to get introduced to Kimbrel. Maddox: Immortal !
Miguel bautista (el poeta)
Kimbrel's leg does kick at the end. lol
It was really fun watching Kimbrel get warmed up, and then watching his heart break when Uribe hit that 3 run shot in the NLDS.
True, but not as fun as watching Trevor Rosenthol strike out Ellis and watching dodger fans heart break in the NLCS.
It wasn't a 3 run homerun....
Meanwhile Kimbrel stands there looking like a scarecrow after a tornado.

I'm getting tired of this "he doesn't pitch enough innings to qualify" crap. Cy Young award is supposed to be about the BEST pitcher of the year.
Kimbrel is so easy to imitate lol
Kimbrel has probably the most awkward stance of all pitchers??!?!
This video doesn't even show the extent of the craziness of Kimbrel's pitching style. When I saw him pitch for the Cubs a few years ago, he had this thing with spreading both his arms out so he looked like an eagle with its wings spread before he started his windup.
Miguel with the 🔥🔥🔥
Welcome to Boston!
Sandro Bruni guys look like little leaguers against him in Boston. Hes thrown maybe 48, 50 innings so far in 2017 and there has been about 10 well hit balls
Haha ok lets now make an imitation video of Craig Kimbrel since he has the ugliest pitching stance in the entire game.
"My leg does not come up like that."
"Watch yourself."
😃😄😅😐😣😫😥😭 Memories....
Miguel: I'm not a good imitator... Ya ur also not a good pitcher
Watch yourself kido 😂
I love your spider stace
Go braves

*Hate, not have. Though that does sound like a good method of suicide for me, not that I think of it...

He's not a reliever, he's a closer

Youre not good enough to impersonate Craig, yet anyway. I will now go do my David Cone/Andy Pettitte/Orlando Hernandez impersonations for 3 hours.
Too he's never gonna be part of a championship team but at least he got to see his fans trash their own field. Oh Brave fans
Well, considering that he owns one of those World Series wins... No. They could not have won the WS without him as they would only have 3 WINS.
How cool is that he grew up a fan of the team he ended up playing for. Talk about your dreams coming true.
Come back home Craig
It was nice having a guy from Huntsville on the team and he enjoyed playing close to home. Since they blew the franchise up, I'm sure he's glad he wasn't forced to hang around like poor Freddie Freeman.
Everytime kimbrel is out there I do his pitching stance I
Batista steals the show.
This was awesome
Batista is hilarious, but no one can impersonate 15.88 K/9 innings over their career o_O
💋💋💋💋💋💋💋kimbrel
Now do Juan Marichal!
Smoltz had the best motion of anybody.
I only have brownies
You'd like to see our impression of you? Go to Philly! Lol
When Miguel imitates Kimbrel he has his front foot on the look in on the wrong side
He's standing there bored, head on the rail, I can tell he's bored.
I play travel ball and I use his delivery I'm a closer
he pitched like himself in all 3 of them XD terrible imitator
Cool guy.
I did just find some humor... from your inane comment!
lol
Why we let him go will never make sense to me..
I hope Kimbrel wins a ring in Boston
Kimbrel just saved the game for the braves
Lol that was good give Kimbrel the Cy young
There going to make it to the series! I hope!
How in the hell are they forgetting about Avery? Seriously?
Avery on any other team = THE MAN. Avery on the Braves = Just another stud pitcher.
Mets
Everybody know yours .
aha pretty good kimbrel

Wish we still had him...
I LOVE THE WAY KIMBREL PITCHES,
