I like to see the use of the four jaw chuck ! Nice accessories for thread cutting . Perhaps a sulfur based high pressure cutting oil would be better for thread cutting with the die ?
It's not cutting oil. It's cutting fluid. I have seen both used extensively in heavy industry. It's a catch 22. Yes it has much less shear strength than oil, but it cools exponentially better. Overall die life is probably comparable on mild steel or alloys. Only place fluid won't work is roll threading. You got to have good heavy oil for that.

4 jaw chuck is also very practical for eccentric application and special oil used for thread cutting with the die...
