Smaller cc bikes are definitely becoming more popular with speed reductions and fuel costs rising.Nothing like a laid back cruise on a country road. Nicely done. 😎

I bought an RS660 a year ago and it’s fantastic. Isn’t boring at all and gets quite a lot of attention for it’s looks. Most people don’t need more power on for road riding.
I really don’t know why you’ve reviewed a sports bike on crappy little roads. It’s like reviewing an adventure bike on a race track. Doesn’t make sense.

    • @redangrevival
      @redangrevival  Год назад

Yes they where not ideal roads for this bike! As I said I didn't know the area too well. Would be much better off on some nice smooth A roads. Still I am afraid this bike didn't do it for me

Mine is 2 years already and besides reliability problems at the beggining, what a bike. In terms of power for me is the sweet spot, not because I couldnt handle more just I dont wanna get arrested yet it is still fast. And the handling is so sweet, the guys I ride with all have at least 20 more hp (r6, streettriple...) yet wont catch me on the corners. The only thing I dislike is the euro5 huge as a tank catalyst, well and the useless mirrors, but thats a minor problem hahaha

The 660 is a terrific machine in the right conditions. Beautifully designed, fizzy power plant and just enough tech. Love’d your realistic review- this is what we riders deal with everyday. Can’t wait to see your on road review of the CP3!

I have a 2022 V4 Tuono 1100 Factory. It’s a real weapon. Give it a go. You’ll love the handling and the sound. It’s like a magic carpet ride with the Ohlins electronics. It glides over potholes as well.
    Great vid as usual. 👍

Can't say I love this review. It's a bit misleading due to his hopes/expectations which became clear throughout the video... This bike is meant to be a daily commuter that you can take on track and enjoy, not the other way around. So his feedback makes sense. It's not really a "sports" bike in the purest sense of the word like he referred to it throughout the video. It sounds like he's looking for more R6/ZX-6R/CBR600RR type of vibes...

Interesting review because you expressed how many of us might respond to the idea of riding sports bikes. I just enjoy being out on a motorbike, preferably riding through some scenic countryside or on a winding coastal road etc.....For many it's more about the freedom than the speed. Having said that, to ride that gorgeous bike on the right road and when in the mood for some sporty riding would really tickle the senses and I would love to give it a go! I always enjoy your reviews. Cheers.

Yes I am the same, I just enjoy riding on two wheels in a beautiful place, or even in the city! I think sports bikes are brilliant in the correct setting etc... On a track for example nothing would beat the thrill of riding fast. However on everyday roads in the UK, I would personally prefer a different style of bike.

Sports bikes, cruisers, naked or adventure bikes... all are the best style of bikes for the person who likes them. Choice is good and we are lucky to have so many to choose from. Be a boring world if we all had to ride 1200 GS' because someone determined they were the only bikes anyone ever needs.

Sport bikes, I like the looks of most of them, but they are not for me. They only make sense if you can ride them above eight tenths which, on public roads, becomes dangerous rather fast. You might want to try a KTM RC390 which is easier to wring out between two bends without breaking the sound barrier every time! As the old saying goes, it’s more fun to ride a slow bike fast then to ride a fast bike slow. 😊
Nice to see you out of your comfort zone though! 😜
    Cheers,
    Lupo

Haha cheers, yup this is not my normal type of ride! Certainly felt strange.
Exactly right, to enjoy this style of bike you need to be travelling so fast and that is just not legal on the road. Even this 660 needs to be ridden fast to enjoy it.
Good idea perhaps the RC390 would be more fun.
      Cheers

I actually think it's more fun to ride a fast bike fast. Not on British roads though. Would be fun on a track or if you had to commute largely on motorways. I always like the look of Italian bikes. Would you consider a track ride or motorway on a sporty, Red?

To author - stop advertising it- this bike is overpriced almost twice of what it is for real!!! its a moped with big engine and modern electronics!!!! compared to my gixxer 600 K7 and honda cb650r its a beginners toy; steering loose, ergonomics shit, "blipper" gear change works as shit (compared to my 15 years old bike without even it :) ) all components eco version of real bike. anyone who is stepping from real sports or street bike will have a feeling they ride a moped
