New ones are just rolling problems on wheels, I pulled up to the gas station awhile ago and a lady was there with a brand new Chevy Crossover, probably a '17 model. She had just put gas in it and the car went completely dead, had power but refused to do anything when the ignition was pushed. She had to get her brand new car towed to the dealer, ridiculous! Yep the Blazer lost its Man Card. The blazer looks like another soccer mommy SUV.
Kirk Miner I think it looks like a camaro that got stung by a bee.
Totally agree, seems GM could have done a way better revamp on the Blazer. What a disappointment, but if its not kid or family friendly guess they didnt want to shoot for too narrow of a market.
Should've brought it back more like the square body style.
Which is a shame because the Blazer and the Hummer H1 were literally the only vehicles on the road that were seen as a "man's car". Everything else is either gender neutral or identified as being a "woman's car". Almost anything under 3000 lb is seen as a woman's car these days. You just can't win if you're a guy.

I bought a 79 El Camino. Matte black with no Engine or Transmission no rust or dents for 600. Only internal mess here and there. Putting a Ls Engine in it .
Loving the rear end imagery 😂
I'm glad you mentioned Chevy screwing up the Blazer. That was once a great vehicle. The new one looks like everything else in the GM lineup.
...isnt that the point? A car usually has to share design queues with other vehicles in its brand. That's why BMWs all have those kidney grills, Toyotas have those whale mouth grills, and the Corvette back looks like a Camaro. If a Blazer didn't look like a Chevy vehicle then the designers failed at their jobs
@@swagmonee5699 They were able to bring the camaro back a few years ago and make it looked good. They didn't have to make it look like every other crossover. If you're going to do that don't call it Blazer. It's not going to help sales.
They're just playing to the current market. Every brand has a whole big range of SUVs that are barely bigger than one another but that's what the people want. I agree they should've made the Blazer more off-road worthy or at least given it a different name, but the car itself isn't that bad.
And it isn't going to hurt sales either. If anything, I think it'll help sales because the older people that are getting SUVs are going to remember the Blazer name, possibly connect it to a good memory or something, and then buy it based off nostalgia or maybe just name recognition.
@@swagmonee5699 its also an AWD transverse mounted engine vehicle, its just a larger equinox. they shouldve just made it a SUV on the colorado frame then it wouldve been a proper blazer
Swag Monee I grew up with Blazers, the new one is a total fail and if I have to explain why you just aren’t going to get it. You have to be a car car to understand why the blazer will flop.
