Wow, Brunei is not what I expected, reading about all the reputation it has in the international media.
We went on a walk through Brunei's capital city, Bandar Seri Begawan and there we were shocked to see how the city actually is, how the Bruneians talk to foreigners and how the food tastes like.
We are in Brunei to explore the Bruneian culture, eat street food and popular food in Brunei, talk with Brunei people and understand a bit more of why is Brunei perceived in a certain way in the whole world.

Well it depends what you are really looking for. if you want lots of quiet time,slow, calm pace holiday, Brunei is a good destination
Well just becareful not to be part of rush hours on work days cause traffic jams most likely happens.

Stumbled on your video as it appears on my homepage. Anyway, love how you put Brunei traditional music as bgm. In Brunei, we have ’Dart’. It’s like ‘Grab’. You need to download the app first. but it kinda cheaper compared to taxi. Oh, have you tried Ambuyat? Bruneian local dish. You can find it at ‘Soto Pabo’ (the place has river view & bridge) or at famous ambuyat place called Aminah Arif Restaurant. It would be great if there’s a local accompanying you two while in Brunei.

Good insight of Brunei
I have been to Malaysia 5 times, Indonesia twice, Thailand 4 times, Philippines twice and Singapore 3 times but I actually want to go to Brunei too. I am planning my 6th visit to Malaysia to the Borneo part of it and from there I will be thinking of visiting Brunei especially the mosque
Make sure you rent a car to go around so it's easier for you. Or get a local to help you go around

1:25 got me ahahaha end of the world and beautiful nice. In Brunei, they do have a Dart driver service instead of Grab. I believe there is the app for it. There is a price different, but still usable. So for you to visit around Brunei may it be the rural or urban, and may not want to wait for the bus, Dart may be useful

Next time you are here or for whoever wanting to come for a short visit, in the capital alone, you can visit the Royal Regalia Museum, and before that is the Brunei Historical Centre and coming toward the clock tower, which has a history of its own...is the General Post Office Building. Near the phone booth, is a tomb of Dang Ayang, which also has its own history, and the mosque, and many more.

u guys are staying at centrepoint hotel, there a near bus station, just infront of the mall gadong. lot people waiting there to use the bus.
and tomorrow is friday. don't be shocked from 12am-2pm no shop open, no one will be on the road. its friday prayer. most people go to the mosque. u will find the road is empty with no human. u can check it out tomorrow 12am-2pm). its safe though. it's just interesting if u walk around and iits so quiettt
