I need Rick in my life BAD
Give him a call! It took about 2 months for me to get an appointment with him, but definitely worth it!
@@DriveItRyan I’ll definitely get his info from you. Good to know I’ll need that 800-100 range ready to spend.
Great content!
Super informative! I need to do this with GENNNNNNNNAYYYYY
Does GENNAY have a lot of dings too? We still need to do a paint correction on that gal!
@@DriveItRyan dings dents scratches paint chips. It’s disgusting😫
@@413RC 🥴 yeeesh she needs a spa day at DIR garage 🪣🧽🧼💦
After the most recent storm, I sadly really needed this video for my Miata!
Oh no! What came down on it? Hail? Sticks? Acorns!?
@@DriveItRyan half a tree. 😐 thankfully it’s only small dents in the quarter panel and trunk lid….. but yeah, not cool
Aw man, I may need to hire Rick to take the dings off the roof of Gennnnay
Get some rest my guy! I know there are a million touch up videos, but I would be interested in seeing your approach, maybe just a quick overview before correction?
I’ll try and get some rest! There’s just so much to do 🥵. I’ll film the paint correction and touch up paint too. I’m going to start the correction job today!
I need to fine me a "guy" that can do this kind of work! Are you going to video your touch up and paint correction? I did a two stage polish on my 95 and it was a piece of cake. However, I have so many rock chips on the hood and front bumper that it almost made them more apparent. They weren't as noticeable when the paint was dull.
Good PDR guys are hard to find these days. Idk what I’m going to do when he retires. Maybe I should learn the trade from him 🤔 I’ll do a video on the paint correction and touch up paint!
I have a bunch of little rock chips too on the front bumper, and I know they’ll stick out like a sore thumb when I compound / polish this black paint.
What color is your car and what worked for you? I’m probably going to start with sonax perfect finish and see how well that does. If I need to go more aggressive in areas, I will.
@@DriveItRyan I've been using the Chemical Guys stuff. I bought their kit with 3 different pads, 4 compounds, and a DA Polisher. It was really straight forward on my red 95.
@@Bloodsweatsawdust nice! Yeah my red 97 wasn’t too bad to do either. Japanese paint is also a lot easier to work with compared to German paint. BMW’s have some HARD paint lol
@@DriveItRyan Yeah, pretty easy for my first time. Unfortunately I have a lot of raised spots on my hood. They're smaller now, but I'm afraid the paint's getting too thin. I'll eventually get the hood and front bumper repainted.
That is the reason to not get a black car.
But it looks damn good when it’s dialed in 👌
