    Man, this intro song is pure nostalgia for me at this point. I've been nerding on slip angle videos with this music for so so many nights before I bought my first JDM car almost 2 years ago.

      Haha oh yeah that intro song is a classic!

    I thought I was watching a video with 4 million views. Seriously. What a shame it's not as popular, but glad I found it. Well done.

    You do amazing work Ryan, so beautiful! 😍 I use pretty much the same stuff. Perfect finish, jescar, never used that wax though. To get my car perfect i think i should have used a stronger cut. Still some swirls show.. I'd say 80%

      Thanks Bobby! Your car looks 👌 in all the pictures. I’m sure it’s pretty close! When I first started this job, I started with Sonax Perfect Finish alone to see how it did, and it got about 80% of everything out like you said. The heavy cut really doesn’t mess around but you can only do that so many times. Try that wax out sometime! One bottle lasts a long time and I think you’ll like how wet it looks afterwards 💦

      @@DriveItRyan Thanks man! Yeah i didnt want to cut too heavy, honda paint and clear is usually kinda thin already. I'll have to try that wax out to get extra 💦😂

    Great before and afters. Makes me almost, kinda, wish I could be this OCD, especially when the results are so impressive. But, no, no way.😂

      @DriveItRyan  2 года назад +2

      Haha yeah you definitely don’t want this much OCD. Things tend to take longer than usual 😂 For this type of job though, it’s such a process with the decon / taping off etc that you want to get it as good as you possibly can while you’re at it. I’m glad it’s done though. Now maintenance washes should be much easier 🙂

    Would that be a bag of costco microfiber towels?lol. Looks it. Costco is the 🐐

      😂 Oh you bet! I get a pack of these and blue shop towels every time I go. I’ve yet to use a Kirkland product that disappoints!

      Very true. Their towels r better than any of the ones at auto zone or advance auto.

    I’m a simple griots and meguires guy…. What’s your main negative about ceramic? I don’t want to have to wax my car twice a season, I would rather a single job if it’s possible…. Im using yellow wax currently but super interested in ceramic coating

    • @DriveItRyan
      @DriveItRyan  2 года назад

      Ceramic coatings are good and they have their place. They tend to be more durable. I have seen some issues with water spotting on ceramic coated cars, but it shouldn’t be an issue if your car is garaged and washed / dried properly.
      Keep in mind there aren’t any products that are a “one and done” type of deal. Everything needs maintenance and refreshes. I enjoy refreshing my car completely every 6 months or so, and sealants / waxes are easier to take off and start fresh.
      I’ll do some more experimenting with ceramic coatings and see how it goes!
