The New Duster follows in the footsteps of its predecessors. It is ideal as a companion for customers who are looking for a comfortable SUV with an attractive design. But it is also recommended as a versatile and robust vehicle with 4x4 drive.

@@snakehd6947 4x4 is only manual with the 150 hp engine. An automatic will be just front wheels drive.
If they will put the GPL even in 4x4, then the car will be a best buy

Bought a 2022 Automatic Duster Prestige after your review and love it. It replaced a 2014 duster Diesel Not a single fault in 7 years just service Tyres and cam belt change. Will replace it in a few years with its replacement.

Door locking system??? I have renault duster..but have central locking system… during running of car door can open with just one pull..rest car is awesome
Hi, I have a Duster facelift 2 from February 2022 and I can tell you that android auto is working impeccably , but with cable only.
I`m really satisfied about my Duster, nothing bad to said about it!
Dacia really made a good job!

This was likely the final update to the Duster, as I expect an all-new one will arrive in the next 2 or 3 years. Every update they gave to this car, it just made it better bit by bit. I really fail to see now why you spend more, if all you are after is a spacious SUV that won't break the bank. Desirable? No. But bloody good. And simply exceptional given the price.
Word is that Dacia are to stop making budget cars by 2025 , going more up market , hope the rumour is wrong , but remember Skoda !

For this year, there will be no 4x4 with automatic gearbox, only 1.3 TCE 150 2x4 2WD will be with automatic transmission.
Thankfully in Spain every extra you mentioned comes included as a complete package in the 2023 update car…can’t wait hopefully arriving next month February 2023..really love your reviews thank you.

Also.....Can this car have a panoramic sunroof? That would make it so cool and I think more people would buy it. Most car companies have the option for the panoramic sunroof for their new cars these days, especially for their 2022/2023 models.

I love the dark orange/ black trim combination. There is one in exactly that colour visiting my neighbours right now and it looks very good. If I'm being fussy I'd like to see a rear seat central armrest. On long journeys both grandma and my children like the armrest on my Octavia estate. It's only a small thing but it would make the car a little more complete. I wouldn't have bought a Mk1 Duster, but the Mk 2 Duster has come a long way and is very much on my list to consider when the time comes to swap. Thank goodness they have kept a conventional handbrake.

thank for great video, Here in south america called renault duster, but it doesn´t have various gadgets for example 360 cameras, traction control, stability control, head lights adjusment, and has only two airbags, that´s a shame.

I just saw your presentation and was looking for the full review and then I saw this uploaded 33 seconds ago! Thanks for the review, only problem I have with this car is it being based on a very old platform that in case of a crash is less safe than even a much smaller CMF-B LE Sandero.

E normal ca alea sa fie mai avansate din moment ce au fost lansate mai târziu. Nu pot fi lansate toate modelele la nicio marca in același timp. Când a apărut Logan 2004 Duster nici nu exista. Logic ca e înainte huh 🤷🏻♂️

I wouldn’t call drum brakes more efficient. The reason they are used on EV’s is cause these cars are also ‘braking’ by regeneration, so by design the brakes are used less than on an ICE car. Due to weight shifting, rear brakes will brake less compared to the front ones. So on EV’s, there is little work to do for the rear ones, so it might make sense to opt for drum brakes, which are also less exposed to rain, snow, dirt (resulting in rust). On this ICE running Duster I would like to see 4 discs.
Drum brakes are (on the same diameter) more efficient compared to discs in terms of stopping power. Disadvantages have to do with cooling, where discs are more efficient.

Can confirm there is Android auto, but only with cable. CarPlay can work wireless. Maybe with an update they both can be wireless in a future.
Your right ,why have they never put black plastic mouldings around the the wings , you can get them as an extra but for all the cost why not standard or an option , they are standard on the new stepway .

Great review! But I am very angry of the fact, that in Bulgaria the new facelifted Dacia Duster in the highest equipment level (Journey) doesn't have Multiview (additional cams on the side mirrors), even if you want to pay for it! But the whole rest of the world got it..

Actually the top level is Expression Journey, and Extreme with Exctreme it comes with multi view cams.

It has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay but they are wired, not wireless. Because the semiconductors crisis. Just plug the USB cable and done, you have Android or Apple CarPlay :)

In Spain we don’t have the 150kw on the 4x4 version. Only 115kw and only diesel 😑

How does this Journey version not have Android Auto? Is it bluetooth, wireless, wired or is it not available for this Dacia Duster Journey at all?
The media system has Android auto, but since mid 2022 it's wired. For example you csn buy carlinkit 4.0 to make it wireless.
It is a bit odd that all the wheel arches don't have plastic covers for protection. I think it would look good on the duster, as well as being actual useful protection.

@4:19 ...You are wrong! Drum brakes are not more efficient than Disc Brakes. It's the other way round!!
The reason they're fitted probably as it reduces cost.Also disc brakes are more efficient and so much easier to replace pads!

@@SDADanCars Except for the cheapest version that doesn't come with the media display, all of them should be compatible. That said, it might only be so if you buy the media pack option, but I'm not sure.

Voice control?!?! Nobody cares about that because it has been implemented by the manufacturer. Everyone will use Siri or Google Assistant. They should just drop that "feature"
