my uncle died of asthma. his leg was injured when he died and he was found sitting down hunched on his bed with his hand just a few feet away from his inhaler
Asthma is like if someone is basically just taking away your air and it goes from wheezing to barely breathing at all. And when you add on the pain and like stress it’s like your breathing decreases even more. Like your lungs and windpipe are having an panic attack. [edit] I’ve had an asthma attack when I was like 4,5 years old? And I was hospitalised for like two weeks. That’s how bad it gets and that was only after 5-10 minutes of searching and using my inhaler.
Had asthma growing up. Dawg, having an asthma attack, is probably one of the most terrifying but also annoying (if you’re used to it) thing. Chest gets tight, throat gets tight, you’re outta breath, back gets unbelievably itchy, you can’t breathe, your body feels weak, the albuterol makes you dizzy and sleepy sometimes. I ended up growing out of my asthma but when I was young, suffered day in and day out bro
I actually had a gym teacher refuse a student who had asthma take a break even though he was literally wheezing and having trouble breathing, we were doing an activity that involved running and i actually was going to ask for a break before he did since i also have asthma and i was struggling. But after seeing her refuse to let him take a break I didn't bother asking. I actually hated her, and shae was honestly annoying. Though thankfully he didn't actually listen her when she told him no break, he just started walking around and she didn't notice. She also had a rule that if we don't want to participate in the activity we have to walk around the gym, and he was doing it so he couldn't get in trouble. I felt really bad for him, though he was okay in the end and this situation didn't happen again. Since no one bothered asking for a break, they just took one.

asthma 101: Asthma basically is that your lungs get easily inflamed and irritated from things like Dirt, smoke, unclean air basically. This makes it VERY difficult to breathe at times which can lead to passing out/death. This also is based on how severe your asthma is. Some people it's very minor and light, others it's life threatening. If you ever want to have a taste of what asthma feels like try doing any basic task while only breathing through a straw. You will quickly feel how much it sucks and how difficult it is to do anything when having it.

I feel like I'm going to pass out, about to puke, have burning chest pains, and bad headaches. I feared for that man's life because I've been there. Heat is my worst enemy.
On the asthma thing, my little brother was diagnosed with asthma at 2-3 years old and had to have breathing treatments daily, it’s gotten slightly better but his asthma worsens when he’s sick and he can barely breathe without a breathing treatment.
it's sorta fucked that there are not that much cases been shown of men actually being hurt by their women, compared to how much cases their of men shown out there.
I actually did a paper about this a bit ago. Only about 20% of men report it and get taken seriously. Most of the time when men report it, they get brushed off because of what boils down to “women are generally physically weaker so there is no way she started it/hurt him.”
i’ve had asthma since i was born, and my little brother died from it. it’s no joke, there’s times where i almost ended myself due to my asthma. Mines is severe and i have multiple medications, even prescribed steroids to give my lungs strength. it hurts so bad it feels like your drowning, because you are literally dying. it’s scary asf, and unfortunately mines is going to stay with me my whole life. i’m 18 now and doctors said i wouldn’t make it past 10 i thank God everyday because my life could end just like my little brothers.

So there's many different forms of asthma and it's not the same for everyone symptom wise. For me, asthma feels like I just can't inflate my lungs. The best way I can describe it, is that it feels like there's so much weight on my chest that I cant breathe in at all. Doesn't matter how hard I try to get air in my lungs, it just feels like suffocating. I have certain things that trigger it, cardio is a major one for me, humidity can definitely be bad for it, even allergies can set it off. I had one bad one the other day set off by all the dust and shit that got kicked up while I was grooming my horse. I had left my inhaler at home and the entire ride home felt like hours even tho it was only like 20 min. I was about to pass out. Struggling to stay conscious. Asthma can absolutely be lethal if help isn't gotten quick enough.
In Arizona, at least where I'm from, everyone uses their side doors instead of their front doors. Hope this helps with thr confusion on the whole door issue, Kenji!!
i had asthma really bad back in elementary school. i remember running around outside during recess and then all of a sudden i couldn’t breathe. they even called the ambulance (and still kept me in school..btw). it’s like horrifying in all honesty..especially when i was not even double digits yet. i thought i was dying. it was worse when i was around animal fur and just dust. the amount of hospital trips i had to take in my youth was draining. but it went away in like middle school. also during gym class i would have to go to the nurse everytime and take my inhaler. it was great. got to leave gym early and could sit out for things.
Ngl I think Marcel is getting better. Cus this man just accepted that he wasn't allowed on the property, despite him being on parole. W Marcel yo. I don't care if he's a sex offender or not, I hope he's getting help for that. Aside from that, Marcel seems chill af.
We almost lost my 11, 8 at the time, brother to his asthma. (He was diagnosed 2 weeks beforehand, and forgot his inhaler at home. He had 2, and the 2nd one fell out of his backpack without anyone noticing.) He's fine now, but now he has 3. (One in his backpack, on in the house, and one in the nurse's office at school. He was doing good with the one in his backpack, so we didn't really think a third would be necessary at the time.)
Unrelated to the video, but you are one of the most underrated ppl ever. I really love your videos. I actually do, you always make me laugh and you are really funny. I watch you almost everyday. I really hope you’ll grow big someday! ❤
Asthma is a condition in which a person's airways become inflamed, narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, which makes it difficult to breathe. Different people experience it differently, like mine makes me wheezy, irritates my throat, and makes me short of breath especially in humid or hot conditions, I however have never had an asthma attack and rarely need to use my inhaler However someone with more extreme asthma may experience more severe symptoms and be more prone to asthma attacks
36:44 for someone who has is asthmatic it is extremely scary to have a asthma attack, if you don't use a inhaler in time you can pass out from lack of air or even die from choking. I have been in this situation meny times and it has genuinely traumatized me because of the fact I have almost died 8 times.
Premed student, basically asthma is the hypersensitivity of the trachea and the bronchi, and entry of any sort of allergen will cause their muscles to contract, which makes it harder to breathe. Inhalers are bronchodilators, so they help relax the muscles.
as someone w mild to severe asthma its sucks. anytime i try and do a physical activity it feels like my lungs have shrunken, and sometimes when i tried to sleep the positions i have to get in is v uncomfortable. i cant sleep on my stomach or back unless my head is elevated to the point where ill end up w neck pains. wut sucks is i cant afford an inhaler and my insurance doesnt cover it either edit: also an ashtma attack can be extremely dangerous. one of my aunt had one whilst also havin a panic attack at the same time and ended up brain dead. we had to pull the plug like a week later bc we couldnt afford the hospital bills
I have asthma as well and its like being underwater with no air or your lungs just doesn't work anymore. That's what i feel like when i have an attack and after you puffed from the inhaler you would feel a little dizzy or sometimes sleepy
As an asthmatic (not just any but like REALLY bad) literally when I born I had one straight away and it’s just worse over time and it genuinely hurts me especially my chest
Asthma really damn sucks. I in a sense am lucky-ish since I have allergy induced asthma but it's this constant can't breath feeling, like if you have something choking you out all the time. Lucky my meds are pretty good and I've never had a asthma attack before but I've gotten close sometimes because if I start running or anything it's immidetally like my throat and lungs just close up
Having asthma sucks, I don't have mild asthma but I do have an inhaler just in case. There have been a couple of times that I had small attacks. your lungs become airy as if you're suffocating.
As an asthmatic, it hurts once you actually have an asthma attack, your lungs actually tighten and it hurts so bad. You cant breathe and you wheeze a lot. The inhaler helps open up your lungs and lets you breathe. You will be dizzy and very lightheaded. Sometimes it could make you pass out.

33:13 has me dead with Kenji zooming in like that 😂
Such a good timing cuz I was about to start some college homework
tire slashing lady sounds like my sister when she gets in trouble im ngl
32:12 YOOOO KENJI UR TOOOOOO FUNNY😭 I love your content man, best moment of the video
Kenji be feeding us lately thank you sir Kenji 🙇♀️
Come for the vid reactions.
Stay for the wild shit Kenji says.😂
I don’t even gotta finish watching it to say 10/10 vid 🙏 worship kenji

12:11 KENJI WHST DO YOU MEAN BY BITE IT OFF 😨
Asthma is a condition in which a person's airways become inflamed, narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, which makes it difficult to breathe.
Different people experience it differently, like mine makes me wheezy, irritates my throat, and makes me short of breath especially in humid or hot conditions, I however have never had an asthma attack and rarely need to use my inhaler
However someone with more extreme asthma may experience more severe symptoms and be more prone to asthma attacks
36:44 for someone who has is asthmatic it is extremely scary to have a asthma attack, if you don't use a inhaler in time you can pass out from lack of air or even die from choking. I have been in this situation meny times and it has genuinely traumatized me because of the fact I have almost died 8 times.
Equal Rights Equal Fights
Premed student, basically asthma is the hypersensitivity of the trachea and the bronchi, and entry of any sort of allergen will cause their muscles to contract, which makes it harder to breathe. Inhalers are bronchodilators, so they help relax the muscles.
as someone w mild to severe asthma its sucks. anytime i try and do a physical activity it feels like my lungs have shrunken, and sometimes when i tried to sleep the positions i have to get in is v uncomfortable. i cant sleep on my stomach or back unless my head is elevated to the point where ill end up w neck pains. wut sucks is i cant afford an inhaler and my insurance doesnt cover it either
edit: also an ashtma attack can be extremely dangerous. one of my aunt had one whilst also havin a panic attack at the same time and ended up brain dead. we had to pull the plug like a week later bc we couldnt afford the hospital bills
I have asthma as well and its like being underwater with no air or your lungs just doesn't work anymore. That's what i feel like when i have an attack and after you puffed from the inhaler you would feel a little dizzy or sometimes sleepy
Dyslexia who? 😂😂😂 11:02
As an asthmatic (not just any but like REALLY bad) literally when I born I had one straight away and it’s just worse over time and it genuinely hurts me especially my chest
Bro, I've been seeing dis video and I wanted to watch it! Thank god that I could watch it wit Kenji😊

I would live for a season of Cops: Kenji at Large. God's most chaotic cop vs the most confused of lawbreakers lmao
"Biteoff" 😂❤
Asthma really damn sucks. I in a sense am lucky-ish since I have allergy induced asthma but it's this constant can't breath feeling, like if you have something choking you out all the time. Lucky my meds are pretty good and I've never had a asthma attack before but I've gotten close sometimes because if I start running or anything it's immidetally like my throat and lungs just close up
When Kenji posts about something on his Kenji+ channel you know it’s seriousss
My man said "Just Lorena Bobit him" haha

Wait how do you know 🤨
Why is chat so mean >:( I like you kenji you make me laugh XD
Having asthma sucks, I don't have mild asthma but I do have an inhaler just in case. There have been a couple of times that I had small attacks. your lungs become airy as if you're suffocating.
23:32 thats crazy😭😭
im reading chat and theyre just so fucking mean to kenji💀
29:18 it’s probably a Mud Room where you take off the dirty or wet footwear and clothing my Aunt had one as soon as you walk into her house
