As a person who had been in an abusive relationship with my sister in the past(despite her being a year younger than me) when younger, I can clarify how hard it is to report someone who is toxic abusive, yet you care about them. It leads to so many mixed emotions(fear, worry[that one you'll upset them, and two, you're scared they won't care or love you anymore, especially if they are family or romantic partners], and also stress) its hard having to report someone you care for yet are scared of and dont want to loose a relationship that you still kinda care about. So I understand the point where he was coming from.
I'm so happy I'm good at thinking with my head in relationships. I've left people I loved, not because of aggression but for example because we weren't compatible or something. There weren't bad guys, just deciding that it's better for the both of us to leave now and look for somebody that is more compatible for both our sake.

Dude I don’t remember which airport specifically but when I was in Florida a few years ago for vacation, a part of the ceiling fell on some lady walking by, I think she also had a kid with her. Florida airports are on a whole new level of crazy 😭
The only thing about cops is that it’s really easy to someone up with them. Like for example if you have a broken glass and person who didn’t break it. You can call the cops and say they broke it and that person would get arrested for it regardless of what they say
