So ex warehouse employee here! fun fact: the clear bag is the requirement when you're working in a warehouse If you want to carry your water, wallet, keys, phone or anything like that it has to be in a clear bag, (it really sucks for women because all of our feminine hygiene products have to be visible) although technically you're not supposed to have your phone on the floor. Some places will let you take a not clear bag but you have to let security go thru it every single time you go through the doors. They intentionally make it very difficult to steal items

The reason why Curtis got away with stealing the gaming consoles so many times and even gained access to the electronic case keys and backroom where they store them is because when you are hired at target they don’t introduce you to anybody working there. So your first few months will be nobody knowing you and you knowing nobody except the dude who hired you. Most likely the employee who gave him the keys had no idea he didnt work there because they themselves werent introduced to the other workers after being hired. Honestly genius attempt, but lack of education on how target keeps count for everything in the electronics section.
19:45 most places like this are also run by higher ups and they will make you agree and sign things you have done. So it wasn't really the guy going outta his way to do it but being forced 2. hope that helps.
Just a quick info dump lol- in vid 4 those clear backpacks are mandatory in any kind of warehouse since security will be able to check your items faster. 7:32 we had a guy in our area who did something similar, but were a bit more sketch and dangerous. I was working at a gas station and a guy was going around and saying he worked for cigerette companies looking at stock. The workers being used to this sort of thing wouldnt notice him walk into the back (or sometimes from a back door) and when confronted if found, would say he worked for them yadda yadda...but there was a couple times he was spotted with a gun pulling out on the camera with stashes of cigerettes from the back stock. Most likely to sell somewhere for a profit. He git caught in our backroom one night and my coworker was ballsey and tried to run at him but he ended up making an escape and peeling from the lot. By the time i left they never caught him. Apparently the police department didnt want to use resources to manhubt for him. Legit told to our main boss. So yeah. Crazy people do this stuff.
