Tatsuo Shimabuku "Seiunchin Kata" Isshin-Ryu Karate 1958

Recently I shared an article translated by Andreas Quast from the book Okinawa Karate Kobudo Jiten (Okinawa Karate and Kobudo Encyclopedia), by Shigeru Takamiyagi, published 2008. The article states that Tatsuo Shimabuku studied with Miyagi Chojun for 3 years before he founded Goju-Ryu. It's quite possible that the version we do of Seiunchin Kata is the way Miyagi Sensei was teaching it at that time.
