With John Prine, it is not about what you heard in his music, it is how you plan to live your life differently because of what you heard in his music.

It's no wonder that Bob Dylan said that this was his favourite song from John Prine's catalogue. Mr. Prine, you will be missed!

Nobody else could've written a song about Native Americans finding white babies, a couple grilling sausages on an outdoor grill, and a murder investigation--all centered around a lake--and made it sound this good. RIP Mr. Prine. I never met you, but I'll miss you the rest of my life. A true original.
