I’m a 15 year old content creator and recently I made the money to buy the A7siii and last week I bought the anglebird card so I’m super excited to use it and see how it will perform. I was a bit hesitant at first as no major youtuber was talking about them but when something’s good, the word of mouth spreads really fast. Love the energy in your videos 🙏❤️

Finally someone shouting these out! Awesome vid. This is a massive deal for Sony shooters that folks on youtube seem to have largely ignored. CF Type A was Sony's biggest Achilles heal for the longest time.

**UPDATE - Sony now has 960GB for $749 AND 1920GB for a whopping $1400, nice to see them come with higher capacities but the Angelbirds are still a MUCH better value**

I've been pleasantly surprised by the Angelbird cards - I have a couple of their 512GB SE CFExpress Type B cards and they're really solid performers that cost less than half most equivalent cards and happily ingest 80K60p video. And they're made in Austria, which is perhaps the most surprising aspect of all! 😀

That 512g SE card perform really well on Nikon Z9, it can handle 8k60 HQ N-RAW without issue. However, the plastic quality on that card is pretty poor, my friends and I has 3 of them, and every single card had a piece of plastic broken off from the card. The cards still fully functuonal.

When I saw these cards release I was very impressed, I love Angelbird products! Wait till they make a 512GB version for $250! That's what I want. But to be fair... the reader only reads cfexpress type A and it is kinda bulky. the Sony one does both (although in a weird upside down way). I recommend the Prograde one. it also reads SD cards and is $80, so cheaper than both.

Good video, just a point of clarification that megabytes (B) and megabits (b), so the Angelbird card is 820 megabytes per second not megabits.

I still think 99.99% of people using CFE-Type A cameras will be good with V60/V90 cards.... fight me! This will not be a necessary cop until Sony stops playing Canon cripple games and does internal ProRes recording. Sony needs to stop playing games with us.

I have seen rarely corrupted card but stay away from PNY and Lexar especially cheap, it can happens. I was huge fan of Sony back in 2001 while I was high school AV tech and first glance of Sony Digital cameras, they were expensive at that time. 128MB memory stick were $449 for one in 2001 but lowest capacity is 4MB which included in the box. Also, floppy disk is 1.44MB which Sony Mavica digital cameras take it and also back up memory with memory stick. Today, I still have an oldest Sony memory stick and yet still holding an images (never deleted but locked to prevent overwritten into memory). Contained jpeg files only, not great but still worthy. P.S., not confuse to MB (megabytes) and GB (gigabytes).💾Not many out there who still using a floppy disk because they don't use them anymore. Physicals media has gone rapidly changes and yet better performances.

@@petersuvara Yeah, I have Lexar micro SD card failed and lost of my photo, video, and documents. Completely corrupted. Same thing happened to my PNY micro SD card, too. So, I'm currently using Sandisk, Samsung, Sony, and Kingston. Also, back up on the external drives basically copy the physical media(s).
