Ringo we love ya but please, NFTs aren't the way to do these things, they do more harm then good. Unless you can manage to do them more responsibly and eco friendly then these other company's I would steer clear from them, it is your art after all so it's your choice.

He is doing them more environmentally friendly. He is using the lowest impact blockchain to hold his NFT’s. Polygon I believe.
The whole crypto eco-system is unethical, even if it was eco-friendly it has many other issues that are there by design. Best avoided entirely to be honest.

@@PoboyMusic Fiat isn't perfect but it's better than crypto's hyper-deflation. Goods and services need a stable currency for trade, crypto is volatile while being built on similar rules to that of gold standard. There are many reasons we moved away from gold standard.

i really do love you and i can tell you put an amazing amount of effort into your artwork, but the majority of your fanbase dislikes the notion of nfts. i understand nfts seem really cool because it's a modern concept - but not all modern concepts can be defined as progressive or could be healthy. nfts are a whole money laundering scheme and dangerous to the environment. factually, nfts use as much electricity as a house on a weekly basis. i am aware that you are using a platform that doesn't use as much carbon and whatnot, but we shouldn't add more to the problem.
personally as an artist, i would never nft my wares. i recommend you should physically auction it in a designated art gallery instead of placing a copyable image online.

yo! doubt i’ll be noticed by a beatle but here’s a little rant from an artist
first off, nfts are pretty controversial. a good chunk of em are bad for the environment, and an nft can be saved easily. the people who buy the nft really only own a “blockchain” and it’s kinda silly.
if you wanna get your art going, i recommend you just sell the canvases and no nfts as they’re basically just the modern day buy a star or whatever people were doing in the past.

Nfts don't hurt the environment. Jeez you people are tards. Etherium will burn the same amount of energy whether nfts are traded or not. Ethrrium is also switching to proof of stake which requires no mining. Solana is also proof of stake.

I had that toy as a kid, a turntable that you attached a round piece of paper to (provided) and dropped the paint on, Damien Hirst used the same idea.I preferred Spirograph. They still use the paint bottle for glitter glue.......
