      I would buy that series in a heart beat. I just found this a day ago and I can't remember the last time i laughed so hard. The Goldfinger song has been stuck in my head non-stop. It's too perfect and exactly how my friends and I poke fun at Ringos solo work.

    Fun fact: The first Bond film - Dr No - and the debut Beatles single - Love Me Do - were released on the same day, October 5 1962.

    This is still my all time favourite sketch, right up my street humour wise. I first saw this when it aired in 2007 and I was just about to head into town to meet some friends and I was giggling to myself the whole way into town 🤣🤣

    By the way, I watched the Imagine doc on Sky Arts, and there was a bit where various celebrities John and Yoko knew came through a door to different tunes. The chat show host Dick Cavett came through the door and his tune was the same tune used on the intro to the Peter Serafinowicz Show!

      So this Goldfinger theme sounds suspiciously like Don't Pass Me By, and despite it appearing on 1968's White Album, Ringo first spoke about it in a 1963 interview

      I think the joke was just that he didn't even finish writing the song when the film was being made. Its relation to Don't Pass Me By being a song that took Ringo years to write was probably coincidental

    I am always impressed by Peter's attention to detail both in songwriting and audio engineering. I am dying to hear the rest of the Goldfinger theme, as I assume that the whole thing was written before choosing which parts to feature in the show. If anyone knows that this is available somewhere, let me know

    lol.. Poor bloody Ringo always at the butt of every bloody Beatles joke.
    All his songs sound like nursery rhymes, but they'll still good. I think his best song was Octopus' Garden.

      darrouken to be honest...a lot of hit songs sound like nursery rhymes...most non-singers have maybe an octave they can comfortably sing & it means that everyone can join in
      Plus, I’m sure Ringo doesn’t mind the jokes...he’s a multi-millionaire married to an ex-Bond girl and has some of the best musicians in his All Starr band whenever he fancies it! 😂

    Inaccurate. Ringo didn’t have a moustache in 1964 when it was made. Have u seen him in “Hard Day’s Night” the same year it was made?

    @RingoStarrForLife1 What's even more re - 'tart' - ed, as you put it, are People Who Talk In Sentences Capitalising The Start Of Each Word Because Its Irritating And Makes You Pause After Each Word You Read. Apple Corps. must have liked Peter Serafinowicz's impressions of the Beatles enough to have cast him as Paul in the remake of Yellow Submarine also, by the way..
