What I love about listening to Paul talk is that its great hearing an elderly person grow more wise, calm and rational in older age rather than grumpy, bitter and cynical.
He had a very loving family growing up.. he told in an interview that his childhood and great family members really set the foundation for his outlook on life.
In the documentary she just sits there and says nothing, just stares at them. It seems so annoying to me as I have experience having a band practice or a studio session and someone bringing outside people in. They don’t even have to do anything but the presence of some other person that is watching you during your creative proccess is super frustraiting and makes it impossible for the band members to be fully comfortable and do the best performance they can.

Such as on Taxman. But it wasn’t just solos. I am sure he became a better musician over time but was not in the beginning.

Howard is a unique talent. His interviews are always great and he manages to get those he interviews to open up. That's why Howard Stern is on top and stays there.
If John wanted her to come to the studio with him, the least he could have done is tell her to stay in the control room. She had no business being out on the floor where they were working/recording.
