AMVR has released a full replacement for $35ish (might want to look into that)

all memory foamsare ruined by moisture sweat/water. is the foam inside protected by water proof cover? if not it's not recommended to wash it at all. (sweat will ruind it also if it's not protected. with time)

I’m a bit disappointed in VRCover for failing to release a true replacement facial interface before 2024. With a very narrow range of products, they should have been able to get one out by Christmas.
As the Quest 3 facial interface is more complex than the one on the Quest 2, as it’s adjustable, I think that’s probably putting some companies off making one, or at least slowing them down as they work out the best way to make it.
I had been keeping in touch with their customer support ( who are quite responsive ). They initially had it slated for release this month but plan to release it Jan.
Nothing seems to beat VR Cover's comfort. , at least for me.
I will try the AMVR for now because everything else is quite hard on my cheeks.
Thanks to @MyTechGear for turning me on to BoboVR which at least gives me the ability to push the face-plate a little bit away from my face.
I bought the AMVR - I will have to say. It feels just as as good as the VR Cover!!! Comfort once again!
€30 for that is an absolutely crazy price for something like that...
They're 29 for 2 and with the 10% discount that takes it down to just over 26 for two face covers.

How would you put them on a baby flamingo?! It’s not a sponsored video btw. They sent me the item to review but they didn’t pay for the video and my opinions are my own.
DO NOT USE A THIRD PARTY HEADSTRAP LIKE THAT. The additional weight makes things worse, just get a cheap $5 back piece and it's way more comfortable.
What’s wrong with how I’m using a head strap? The cloth face cover only weighs a few grammes so I’d hardly say it’s weighing you down.
This might be the only person on the planet saying to use the stock headstrap. Literally the only person. @@MyTechGearGaming

The original cover rips my face off. But your idea is too ugly. Id rather get the silicone cover for $70 and two weeks delivery to Australia.
Why bother reviewing a sock?

Yeah, there's not many options out there at the moment. It is still early days though and I'd expect more companies to be coming out with alternatives soon.
