- Boris Johnson, Britain’s Foreign Secretary, is a man who does not shy from the media’s spotlight. From his not-quite-so humble beginnings as a journalist at the Telegraph, to becoming a champion Brexiteer, via being Mayor of London, Boris has survived and prospered despite his many blunders.

Boris Johnson could survive a nuclear war.
Only the same way we'd admire a cockroach for doing the same.
We made a film in his constituency. He's got fanatical support and literally can't lose his seat.
All this despite the poverty in the area.
It's very strange but then we live in interesting times.
He's unstoppable.
Thats wright together with the cockroaches
He could survive a Nuclear War, while the rest of the country and people drown in flames.!
can he survive a general election? I don't think so on current polling!
As a foreigner, my impression on Boris is that he is an opportunitst. He created Brix but jumped ship when things getting tough. No shoulder to be the leader of UK.
He's just like Nigel Farage. They are both opportunists who want power. Both have no real solutions.
As a foreigner, what’s it got to do with you? Most of us are sick of foreigners telling us how we should live our lives.
@Genius Goblin ah the Dunning-Kruger effect in action
He created Brix? Brix is a solution of sugar and water. If you meant Brexit, that wasn't Boris, it was Cameron. I'm a foreigner too (Belgian) but I fully support the U.K. stepping out of the corrupt Euroblock which reckons it can be a world power through total European control.
Furthermore Boris would make a great Prime Minister.
Really?
Lol wouldn’t it be crazy if the guy they just ridiculed became PM?
Ha-ha-ha yeah would be funny.
Guess what..
I mean it's more a measure of where the UK is these days, its no longer a serious country. Hopefully Sunak can return the office of PM to a serious position
Don't be fooled by the persona he's very calculative
Probably
Not sure why you are complaining about foreigners when your only contribution to society is this sad, pathetic comment
What a shit conversation this is. Well done guys you have opinions and seem bitter.
Yep like people who play clowns in circuses
New Labour had similar madness remember that Dome?
I get the impression that ch4 news may not fully support the idea of Boris being pm. Subtly guys , it's a thing.
they've been a bit too kind here if anything, facts are facts and he just doesn't have a good record as a journalist, politician or even as a person
@Forsaken Pumpkin you sir, are a moron.
@Forsaken Pumpkin So that would have been most of London in two mayoral elections.....
Makes sense I spose.
Well... Just facts
@Forsaken Pumpkin I've just looked at your profile....
It says - "This channel doesn't have any content"
Rather like your head......x
Is that Cathy ‘so what you’re saying’ Newman narrating?
Yes. She has taken the time to change the context of the quotes beforehand this time.
so we already know how credible this piece is.
Nope
He did try to make London unaffordable, to create an elitist city to push out some classes. Now key workers are finding it difficult to find affordable housing in London.
@Jonathan Bowen What if you were born in London, and raised? No right to be there then? What are you? Aristocrat? Royal? Without the working class, London would never have become what it is. It is so good, because all the SERVICES are available there. Services paid for by tax payers from the whole "COMMONWEALTH".
as robert de niro said in casino
" i wouldnt give this guy a mop job"
He went to Balliol, not Christ Church.
IHashim98 same as my MP Bogie Green the fibber
He's not left/right he's just machiavellian. Smart in all the wrong ways.
Unpopular speculation... He was genuinely stupid enough to support the EU, immigration at first and then came to his senses rhather than just being a vile spineless opportunist.
@@JudeLind He is in the same park as the people that run the EU. He just figired he could do the same or worse as a national British entity. Cutfing loose from foreign governance is one thing. Removing the enemies within power, the nation is another.
Does anyone happen to know what the classical tune was that was being played at the start and end of this video at all please?
Ben Almond It’s L’ Donna e mobile by Giuseppe Verdi. It’s from the opera known as Rigoletto and probably one of the best known opera pieces in the world. It is a fantastic obra maestra, do try to see it if you have the chance.
The Boris I knew only drinks vodka
What a well balanced, unbiased report
Orifice Lover sarcasm, presumably
NOT!
Anything inaccurate here? Hmmm?
Thought not.
It doesn't say much for the people who vote for him, especially now that it's in the open what he is!
Vast majority of country voted for Tony Blair 3 times overwhelmingly for PM. He was a freaking criminal,co-responsible for million+ death in iraq, 100 times worse than Boris.
So what does that say about the vast majority of UK who voted for him then?
@@epa2349 I agree with you wholeheartedly. It doesn't make Johnson a suitable prime minister because he was responsible for fewer deaths than Blair!
This could be our next PM....there's no accounting for what people will support. Want honest transparent politics but still vote for the likes of this dangerous clown.
so could corbyn a jew and Britain hating terrorist loving communist.mmmmmmmmm which would be worst
The correct way to head off unwanted media scrutiny, not slamming the car door.

WOW give us a Spliff Boris! Please please please 3:36
So what you’re saying is Boris is my PM
You should have more likes. I don't think many get the reference lol
Weeping Angel 😂
I wish there was a law that said you have to have been resident in a constituency you want to stand as MP for, for at least 10 years.
I don't know why Britain allows people who are obviously career politicians, to run around the country standing for MP anywhere so they can get a job.
Im just wildly amusing you're american yeah? The reality is not only that but you dont even need to be a resident of the UK by law alone to be allowed to even become a candidate all you need by the local elections is 30 signatures I think it is of the constituency where you want to be elected and then you can become a local elections candidate, seriously thats how open it is (obviously one of those countries must be a commonwealth nation). Though on 2nd thought actually that might be to do with the local borough (perhaps the parish) councils (plain councils being the local borough councils I mean).
@@jsmithmultimediatech Actually I'm British.
But I don't have a HUGE issue with people not born in the UK being able run in elections since, if they've made this country their home and think they can make it better, crack on.
A fair enough, wasn't a criticism was actually a fair enough point even if you were comparing it to other countries you do have a valid point with your original comment, take care and it certainly wasn't meant to in anyway criticise actually I'd agree 100% lol.
I think though if one was to use the example of the US Senators at least (not sure about the lower house) need to have lived in the state of which they are a senator or something such as that, it could be slightly more varied they either have to have that or be born or have relatives in the state I am not really certain to be really honest. There's more lax laws on the lower house though by comparison I do know that much.
You are right. Just look what's happening in Belgium. Muslim Party is doing well , and in a few short years they will be the dominant Political part in charge, and have said they will bring in Shares to that country and change it to an Islamic state. So don't tell me they are a friendly people. The politicians in Eu including UK are a bunch of Traitors and should be dealt with as such.
It was surprisingly about him to be Ali Kamel's great grandchild !

great documentary. i didnt vote for him but always liked him and his funny sense of humour. the video of him blowing kisses is comedy gold.
It's not over yet! Watch this space, after recent political "madhousery" (yes I know, made up word) anythings possible.
It'd a great satire if it wasn't us!
It annoys me that so many of the vids uploaded by the Msm have the comments disabled. i know this is about Boris but when their talking to Nige they just dont want to hear the praise he gets

He went to Balliol College Oxford, not Christchurch. Plus you show Magdalen College in the video, not Christchurch...
Top journalism.
This is an unforgivable mistake really, as if nobody at the BBC knows the difference. All for gearing against Boris.
I find it intriguing that the Britons have chosen Boris of all individuals to compare to Trump.

He went to Balliol. Research has fallen by the wayside here.
Oliver Thompson So did my MP
from across the Pond it is my opinion that Boris Johnson is the UK version of Donald Trump
Thanks for posting.
I'm undecided about which is more fitting for Boris; Falstaff or Rigoletto? I think the C4 chose wisely with the latter. More tragic.

There is still hope, the next time he cosplays to work for a gunsmith for example.

How biased can you get? Not much more than this.
Agree 200%, 120% pro-Johnson, in a subtle way!
He is a weird cross between Jimmy Oliver and Gordon Ramsay
11:46 - For God's sake - why does everything on RUclips have to have music that drowns out any speech? I have never yet been to a lecture where the lecturer turns on a HiFi set before he starts speaking.
There are not so many assumptions in life. The reality is a real slap in the face. There is no doubt that you will cry in pain, but you can only move forward.

He's a pretty big guy
Boris was arguing for the control of the money, not the amount that is sent to the EU. Our contribution is £350 million per week less the rebate. He explained that time after time, lets take back control of our money.
As already observed in the media, his ambition is way in excess of his ability. Let's hope his future is in, " Have I got news for you."
