Earlier it used to take 3 hours to go to Meerut (before the Expressway).... There used to be a lot of traffic near Muradnagar and Modinagar... Had to go through villages to avoid the traffic... Once on a single lane road.... all the cars were facing each other at like 12-1 AM.... Was stuck in the traffic for 3-4 hrs there then did a U Turn
Bejjing and Shanghai metro soon to be over 1000 km metro we cant even built 400 km tracks even in future with phase 4 extension we cant touch 600 km 😢😢
@@BBD_Baagh delhi metro is almost 400 kms built in around 20 years. add to that noida and gurgaon metro's current lines and future extensions so we might be talking about 500 kms of total length in the next few years. add to that 82 kms of RRTS with a 2025 deadline , so we might be looking at the 600 figure mark in the next few years comprising of all metros and RRTS.

problem with indians is that we dont even understand basics.....all such infra development depends a lot on local topology...indo-gangetic plains are one of the flatest structures on earth and made up of soil with hardly any rock, hence building such projects there is pretty easy....similar projects in deccan would be much more difficult as terrain si rough, uneven and rocky...same size of project would cost several times more, in time as well as cost...
skip RRTS and go directly to HSR, RRTS is for satellite cities and commuting. Neither is Pune a satellite city and neither is commuting from Pune to Mumbai feasible

The case for making RRTS to panipat only makes sense if we are to presume that no High speed rail aka Bullet train is ever going to built to Chandigarh but we know that Delhi-Chandigarh High speed rail is the most likely candidate to get built after Mumbai-Ahemdabad.

Keep in mind HSR are best suited for distances of 200-800 kms. As for when, it's simply a matter of priority. I feel making RRTS is a waste of time & money if we are planning to make HSR anyways and a HSR between Delhi and Chandigarh tri City along NH44 would have less land aquisition issues compared to once faced in Mumbai, which is what delayed it. The only delusion here is thinking that Delhi to Mumbai route would be cheap enough to financed easily, when shorter and more financially viable routes exists. Delhi to Chandigarh and Banglore to Chennai are best possible next routes.
Same RRTS should be constructed for Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad Metropolitan areas. whole Uttar Pradesh needs to be connected by RRTS due to its high population. 🇮🇳🧡🤍💚

South states get all the north Indian resources to sell from their ports which creates many job opportunities in south states and fep fck north states the most. I am surprised how close Aerocity and dwarka 21 metro terminus are from Gurgaon yet there's no plan to extrend the routes

All routes of phase 1 should be completed by 2030 to complement with HSR completion, Transportation 📈
Ahmedabad Mumbai HSR Won't be completed by 2030. So other HSR projects are still decades away
