      Fact check: Maximum speed is 180
      Operation maximum is 160 on Delhi-Agra (100 km route). Rest is 130
      And nowadays even that too (delhi-agra route) reduced to 130 as per latest news.

      The fastest train which has an Average speed of 76 kmph😂😂😂. Govt should focus on this by improving the tracks and making it actual 180kmph rather than wasting 1.8 lakh crs in bullet train. Which would have been covered by flights also😂😂

    I've seen a lot of people complaining that vande bharat is irrelavant compared to the world, which it true but we have to start somewhere right? We started late, i think everyone can agree on that ,but we are making progress, just see the mumbai ahemdabad corridor.

      Vande Bharat is not irrelevant, infact it is one of the fastest accelerating trains in the world, the only issue it lacks is it's built quality, if it were made with aluminium and had tilting technologies and other upgrades and also considering the tracks are upgraded it would have easily reached higher speeds. The issue is with rudimentary and orthodox mentality of Indians. In no countries would people welcome a train by pelting stones but here we are in India.

    I have travelled in Rajadhani(correction Shathabdhi) at 160 kms 12yrs ago, world is travelling above 200kms and we are talking about 180 kms which is great

      Existing tracks don't allow for trains to run much faster. New tracks need to be laid for speeds >200kmph.

    16:24 current trainsets are not built with Aluminium but steel. ICF doesn't have the tech to mould aluminium bodies yet.

    I think it’s contextual - Indian tracks can’t support high speeds currently so vande Bharat may be okay. We can’t upgrade whole of India’s tracks instantly but we should make effort to upgrade tracks in some sectors… that would gv us 200+ kmph trains quicker

    Railway minister is talking about acceleration level of Vande Bharats. Is it something worth mentioning. Average speed of VBs is 70-80 kmph, with a very small of 160 mph in very few VBs. Nothing really boasting about.

    The funny thing is when travelling via vande Bharat i only saw speeds of 130kmph whereas i have always been travelling via superfast trains running at 130kmph ...checked everytime inside vande Bharat and superfast trains, they showed the same peak speed...so tracks and safety needs to be improved otherwise there is no improvement in time saved which is the ultimate goal

      IR doesn't care about you or me or passengers anymore...all they are doing is for business..Track maintenance and signalling system has been in grim situation...even accidents like Coromondel express accident isn't enough to kick some senses into present govt..They concentrated on Amrit Bharat station redevelopment scheme just to sell them to adani-ambani so they can loot us passengers more...
      And those vande Bharats are one hell of a election train.. nothing special about it...don't expect good from this govt atleast

    Go ahead India. One suggestion will be that this Vande Bharat should not be limited to the upper middle class but it must be available for everybody. Also, you could start a route from Delhi to Baramula since numerous tourists visit Kashmir annually. Goodluck!

    Only 5% elite people's travel in vande Bharat indian government have to think about 95% people who aren't elite
    Nowdays the local trains and general coaches in the train is decreasing day by day. Sad reality government thinking about 5% richs after collecting tex from 95% poor peoples 😢

      95% of those people pay less than 1% of total tax paid by the 5% Elite
      Government has already launched Amrit Bharat trains for the lower middle income group

      Sorry but if you keep portraying rich people as villains then they will leave India. Then keep crying why brain drain is happening.
      I was born in a poor family but i have worked very hard. Now I pay almost 10 lacs just as Tax and grt literally nothing in return. I can easily move outside India and earn 5x more than currently and also get good quality of life outside but I still stay here because I know current government is using my tax money to build infrastructure and modernize the whole country.
      If someone like Rahul Gandhi comes to power and start distributing free money to everyone and stop the spending on infrastructure and destroy the growth potential of the country, no way I am staying in India and letting my tax money go to waste like that.
      Sorry if it offends anyone but it is the harsh truth.

      Nothing get done for free. And nothing is done without hard work and sacrifice. I would suggest watch some videos of Lew kuan yew who was the founding father of Singapore. He transformed it from a ultra poor country to an ultra rich country while we are still nowhere near even a middle income country. The difference is in the mindset. Here everyone wants everything for free and don't want to work hard and strive for excellence. We just keep playing zero sum games of caste and religion.
      Search for "lew kaun yew profit is a bad word" on RUclips and you'll understand what i am saying.

    @Lastlyy I truly appreciate your content, given the lack of infrastructure related video essayists in Indian youtube space. But I would disagree with VB being considered the fastest train in Indian Railways, sure they are capable of 180kmph but in practice, still the speeds across the country are restricted to 130 with the exception of Delhi-Jhansi VB which runs at 160kmph but that can only be reached in Delhi-Agra section and then it gets restricted bringing the average speed down. So, I think that the fastest train of Indian Railways is still Gatimaan Express as it is the only train that runs at 160kmph throughout its entire journey time.

    few points to note. There were many faster trains in similar speeds in 2000s.
    most express, superfast trains today walk so vande bharat could run, ie Vande Bharat is given priority over other trains.

    instead of boasting about vande bharat for its top speed , give a deeper look to its average speed which is only 80kmph very less,
    we have to build tracks, signalling and train pacing at average speed of at least 150+ kmph for all categories of train not just vande bharat

    A lot needs to be done on improving speed by changing tracks, fencing as well as Kavach installation. All that said, Vande Bharat is definitely a superior experience compared to any other train today. Time saving is minimal but comfort level is outstanding. At par with many trains I have used in Europe. Once the speed issue gets sorted, it's going to change the travelling landscape in India. Great video.

    Meanwhile France's TVG achieved 574 km/hr in 2007. People are writing that we as a developing country need to start somewhere, right? Yes we have to but the govt is spending just way too much on a largely mediocre train. 120 cr for this train is far more than 277 cr for one TGV set. Sooner or later govt will have to upgrade the system in next 30 years at most.

    Vande Bharat is based on technology which is 30 years old, this train is nothing but a fancy looking memu. I love Indian railways but our railways is a lost cause. In the near future railways will only be used for goods transport and transport for fellow indians who cannot afford any other travel. For india regional aviation is the future

    None of vande Bharat runs at 180km/hr pls make video on how reducing general coaches and sleeper coaches government is putting people on danger situation.     I dont think so. The fastest is Gatiman. Only thst section has tracks for 180kmph. Others are 130 kmph tracks

    So shatabdi express came out in the 90s with a operating speed of 160kmph. 30 yrs later third term of bjp they are talking about vande bharat whose operating speed also is 160kmph. What joke is this rajdhanis and shatabdis have more coaches and carry more passengers plus the fare is 30% cheaper. So what does vande bharat achieve when it reaches the same operational speed at a higher rate. Normal trains in other countries run at 200kmph. Bullet trains run at 300 350 and even 400 kmph in some countries.

      Overall experience, better washrooms, better entry exit system, better sitting arrangements, better luggage storing arrangements, better basic amenities, overall better ride experience but yeah definitely somehow who cares for lesser travel time maybe for him these wouldn’t matter

    Er sudhanshu mani and his team made this train , shudhanshu mani begged his seniors even touched the feet of his GM to get sanction of 200cr for making this train. What did he get in last ??? He and his team got blamed falsely for corruption by senior officials which resulted in delay and postponed promotions of everyone who made this train . 😢😢😢

      @@infinitebeing1119 Actually he pissed many senior officials because they wanted to import "telego" trainsets which costs around 200cr each , whereas vande Bharat costs around " 100cr for 16 coach VB" and "75cr for 8 coach VB". So what he simply did is ended an opportunity of thousands of crores in kickbacks which definitely pissed some senior officials. 😑😑😑

    its all shit as the current requirement of railways is to curb the overcrowding happening in the trains due to non existence of lower affordable coaches people are flocking the reserved compartments this kind of stupid things dont cater to the needs of the mases and people who can afford these would still prefer air travel because of the significant less travel time

      What can they do if they forcefully vacate the compartments then few will say that it's disturbing our rights we are poor and we can't purchase reserved tickets
      The next day opp will make a big issue in parliament regarding this
