Saddick Adams's parents and FIFA screwed his career. First, his parents signing him to a club without informing him and secondly FIFA charging him $50,000. That's just crazy to think about.
You can't blame the parents. FIFA shouldn't have treated him like that. They should simply have made ATM pay off the Tunisian Club since that useless club too didn't want him to progress. ATM would have gladly paid to settle the dispute. It's the same as punishing an underage with maximum adult sentence.
@@itsvocalben Yes you can smh, not for signing the initial contact (which was still not right how it went down), BUT, all his dad had to do was let Atleti know he was signed to ESS, very simple, they would have probably bought out his cheap contract or paid a transfer fee.

Hi Raymar. I'm Muhaqqiqin from Indonesia. I watch some of your videos and it's very amazing. You don't have to do this but I actually have suggestions for 2 players to make a video about. 1) Wayne Rooney, I would love you to make a video about him because he is kinda disrespected by a lot of football fans nowadays. 2) Boaz Solossa, he is an Indonesian football player and maybe it's not a familiar names but he was once called as "The Wonder Boy". He was called up to the first team of Indonesia National Team at the age of 17 years old without even playing football professionally yet at the time (like literally he had no club and no professional contract or even a reserve team/youth contract). Before 2007 AFC Asian Cup he was injured (broken leg) and the manager of the national team said, "Our national team lost 50% of our strengths with Boaz being injured". And he was just 21 years old at that time. That was how good he was. A little more info about Boaz Solossa. He broke his leg twice throughout his career and yet everytime he came back he was easily the best player. He came from a big Island of Papua. FYI, Papua is the 2nd biggest island in the world consist of two country, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. And if you ask all the boys in the Indonesian halves at that time, every single one have a dream to be Boaz Solossa. Once again I hope you consider my suggestion but to be honest you don't really have to do it if you don't want to. Thank you very much.
@@RaymarFootball when he was signed, I remember a newspaper here stating that he is a player from Ghana national team and had played for Athletico Madrid. I tried to imagine what type of fall he had to fall from La Liga to BPL. Looks like now I get it.

Organizations like FIFA shouldn’t exist beyond just organizing the World Cup. The idea that they have the power to fine players and ruin their lives is insane. Players should be able to go wherever they are wanted, not held prisoner by clubs.
@@randominterestingvideos4733 don't blame him that much 🤣 generation z, always act like they know it all but don't know nothing Sadick and Ransford osei combination was a blast u17 world cup
@@RaymarFootballwhich technically means they never valued his potential. If they had thought he was worth more that the fine or potential agreement they would have fought for him. But they saw him as a gamble not worth taking.
The fact is that not all players who were so good at youth stage continue with the same level of performance at the senior stage . Some just fade away as they get older
Tbh his father shouldn't have signed that contract specially before the u17 tournament which is a very big deal for a bright talent like him. The sad thing is he didn't know at the time.
A great example of making a decision in haste without thinking things through and i blame the parents regardless of their situation. i only have one regret in life where the outcome was negative due to me making a decision quickly and if i had just been patient, the outcome would have been better.
The Fine was so unfair especially considering that he wasn't an established player yet. In the case of Mikel Obi of Nigeria, Chelsea paid compensation to Manchester United and his agent was fined. That is what should have been done for Saddick as well, his father should have been fined and compensations paid by Atletico Madrid. Even though we know he would have been involved in the paying, Atletico might also have helped out. Again, the amount of the fine was too much. Etoile de Sahel of Tunisia was and is one of the bigger clubs in Africa, so I don't really blame the father for rushing to sign the contract, but Etoile could have also called the father and the kid before calling FIFA. I am sure they would do things differently now. Knowing that they have killed a promising career.
Without complicit Africans, the Atlantic Slave Trade wouldn't be successful! No European could go into Africa, capture Africans and ship them to the Caribbean, USA, Central and South America! I know who I trust!
I wouldn't really say FIFA screwed him over, since it's his parents who are mainly to blame. Of course they couldn't have known Adams would blow up after the WC, but they didn't have to hide it from him or Athletico either. FIFA just enforced the rules of the contract imo, which in the end is a legal agreement signed by Adams' parents and the Tunisian club. The $50k fine was a bit much tho :/
because fifa could have at the very least not fined a kid more money than his contracts were even worth. but still they could have seen that it was his father not him, and given him the benefit of the doubt
Good video, Raymar. I've heard of Sadeek Adam's name, but I didnt really know who he was. But I hate to see this in football. I hate FIFA, they're a corrupt foundation. And they let the people they like make it so far. I'm back! You haven't seen Fluiad in a while 😂 Great Video keep it up! ❤❤❤
The crazy thing is that the parents probably never supported him playing football.. same with Iheanacho his dad never supported him playing football but as a soon as he got Mancity opportunity the dad quickly sold his name rights and collected so much money from different people.. Africans need to wake up .. poverty is not an excuse
Don’t blame FIFA. We Africans like to ruin each other. Tunisia knew what they were doing. Even they are racist and refuse to be seen as Africans. This misfortune has its root in the African culture of disunity and division, envy and poverty. God have mercy on us. Sorry Saddick. Though brief, you’ll be in my heart as Ali Jarah is ❤
How did FIFA ruin him? They did what they were supposed to do. Everything FIFA did in this instance was legal. It's his parents who should be blamed. They took advantage of his age and signed a contract without his knowledge. If FIFA let him off the hook, then other wonderkids will also start disrespecting their contracts. Can you imagine a scenario where Endrick,a Real Madrid player, signed for City now and used the same excuse as this? This one is definitely on the parents.
Well because he was 1. a minor, 2. fifa could have not let the tunisian club take advantage of a minor, and 3. why tf did they fine him 50k lol. Endrick was there and decided together to sign with RM. Sadick didn’t. Easiest way is to put yourself in that situation and you def would not feel the same
At the end of the day there was probably so many more factors that lead his parents to sign him up for a club. Yes fifa could have definitely handled the situation much better but at the end of the day we can’t blame fifa for his parents being so naïve about their own son. I would really hope they would have asked their own son about the situation of signing him to a club where he lived so closely.
Yup, I understand where youre coming from brother. Like some have mentioned, It’s tough out there for many families. fifa could at the very least not have fined him
@@RaymarFootball completely agree. We slavs have a tendency to act hostile to none familiar things (history kinda thought to do that). And sadly things like this occur. Luckily in recent years it has gotten better an major clubs in my country have started picking up black players without a hitch. Hopefully the rest of eastern Europe can do the same.
I was a staying near to saddick house her step mother was a good friend of mine mom. Saddick came in from Burkina Faso 🇧🇫 , northern part of Ghana with full energy and potential, you can’t stand him with physical and energy, he can dribble the whole area with energy and power , but lack education. Education was his main problem, because he can’t read and write , he had the energy and potentials , saddick was better than Falcaou but he couldn’t read
If he was really good he would have shined when he was at Tunisia or in Serbia ,1 good world cup performance doesn't mean anything. When you are skillful nothing can stop you, no matter what league you play, your skill will be spotted,
Sadick Adams was like a diamond 💎 in the soil, after he was dag out during the u17 world cup He needed polishing for him to spark out. That why ATM took him to their academy to do that job but that Tunisia team was ready to do that but just to milk him of his raw talent Know the difference, see the ban bounty fifa put on him, he need to work to pay that off, you can imagine the pressure that was on him
I found old news from 2008. Saddick Adams: "The most interested were Betis, Celta, Villarreal, Cadiz and Nantes, however, I followed the advice of my management agency to try out in Vojvodina. I know that many will wonder why I did not choose one of the Belgrade clubs, Partizan or Red Star. The answer is simple : I simply could not refuse Mr. Butorović". "I did not expect such a warm welcome and, above all, the friendly relationship of all club structures. This especially applies to the president of the club, Mr. Butorović, who left a strong impression on me. An impression worthy of an English gentleman, dedicated to business and the club," began Adams. Now African people are way better accepted in Serbia than before. When I say "better accepted in Serbia" I am talking about ultras. Saddick was something new in our sport and hooligans' didn't like it, that's why he was in bad position. That's just my guess.
Lots of players are quality at a young age but never make it for various reasons. He had to honour the contract with the Tunisian club by law. However FIFA could have banned him for 4 months with 3 months suspended if he broke the rule a second time. That would have been a win for everyone. As for the that’s FIFA they have no shame. If Atletico wanted him that badly they could have paid the fine and transfer to his club. He was the number one teenager in the world so the money would have well spent. So why didn’t they? Why did no other big club come after him? At some stage he lost his way it happens a thousand a season. Just because he was the best at 17 doesn’t mean he would be the best 5 years later. He played for 16 clubs in his career that says everything about his maturity and mentality. FIFA are a disgrace to football and I would love to blame them but sadly it’s on Adams himself. He’s an intelligent guy he knows it’s on him. Hopefully he will still achieve many great things in football and more importantly for his country and the Ghanaian people.
Adam's dad literally signed the first contract that was thrown at him! There is no way his dad had any involvement in developing Adams like taking Saddick to train because if he did dad would have been very cautious in how he managed Saddicks career. Dad doesn't have a clue about football, all dad saw was $ signs....
his dad blew it. if fifa didn't screw him, he could have gone on to great things. the fact his dad signed him to tunisia without his knowledge should have had a part in fifas decision. as per usual, poor form fifa, poor form!!!
I don't really blame fifa, their hands were tied, at least his father should have informed him and Athletico Madrid of the contract they had signed, they may have come to a compromise
it’s just a very sad situation overall tbh. at the same time his parents really needed him to go pro, but they still shoulsnt have done it. and fifa shouldnt have been so heartless
This is so sad. While you can't blame the parents too much, but FIFA? They should have looked after him instead of punishing him. Corrupt souls must have been in charge at the time.
What he said is perfectly true,we're frustrated here, the pressure is dreadful, even if a better league team is coming for you,it's a challenge, opportunistic behaviour 🤨
This is an extremely sad story. FIFA continues to disappoint but when there is so much money and power and so little oversight, they definitely don’t care. At least he got a chance to enjoy the game on the field, but wish the rest of the world could have enjoyed him (and vice versa) by being on the big stage. A question tho. Why didn’t he feature for Ghana after u17? Surely that would have granted him the exposure he deserved.

Much love Sadiq I was your biggest fan since infancy
FIFA should have just adapted the penalty to his wage in Tunesia
For real. Who the heck comes up with that punishment after looking at Sadick’s situation?
Thank you couch I really find this helpful.I hope I get picked on Tuesday 12 September.thank you
i will watch this but u never dissapoint i luv ur vids
Thank you bro! Glad you enjoy! This story is so sad smh
Wow this was sad thanks for sharing
I’m glad I could share his story bro
Seems kinda shitty that Athletico didn't at least try to come to an agreement with the Tunisian club, maybe paying them a fee for the guy 😐
They didn't know because for some reason his parents decides to keep that knowledge from them and even from their son
they didnt want to go through a lengthly legal battle for someone on the reserve squad…
@@RaymarFootballwhich technically means they never valued his potential. If they had thought he was worth more that the fine or potential agreement they would have fought for him. But they saw him as a gamble not worth taking.
I was wondering where this guy has been, never knew he was screwed over, this guy was do good
love yo vids bro hit 500k soon
appreciate you so much brother ❤couldnt do it without all of you
Fifa wouldn't haven't treated him like this if his name was sadick adaminho
The fact is that not all players who were so good at youth stage continue with the same level of performance at the senior stage . Some just fade away as they get older
yup very true
Sometimes family could be your worst enemy and nightmare in life 😢
thats so sad yet true bro
Damn, he got screwed.
Very screwed. Not fair at all smh
And now saddick Adams is a RUclipsr talking about media about sport news
Tbh his father shouldn't have signed that contract specially before the u17 tournament which is a very big deal for a bright talent like him. The sad thing is he didn't know at the time.
Yup, and FIFA could have just had a heart and tried to settle things since they had the authority to. so sad
@@RaymarFootball Legally I don't think they could cancel his contract since it's signed already first.
0:12 benzema being 15 is some crazy foreshadowing💀💀
LOOOL
Good video, can you please do a video on Delle Alli. Watched the full interview and it seemed like a PR move, would love to know your opinions
Can PR moves not be true? Wtd
appreciate it brother, Ive been meaning to do one 🤔
The list is FIRE btw. They got so many right
really? 😂😂😂
So...his parents sold him like a slave, and we should not blame them but blame FIFA???
I am too straightforward to be like that...
It's unfortunate.
Did I get it right? His father signed a contract for him? So why has FIFA ruined his career? His father destroyed his career imho.
because fifa could have at the very least not fined a kid more money than his contracts were even worth. but still they could have seen that it was his father not him, and given him the benefit of the doubt
They try always to keep is down, but we way too UP TO BE DOWN,LEGEND SADICK ADAMS
Good video, Raymar. I've heard of Sadeek Adam's name, but I didnt really know who he was. But I hate to see this in football. I hate FIFA, they're a corrupt foundation. And they let the people they like make it so far.
I'm back! You haven't seen Fluiad in a while 😂
Great Video keep it up! ❤❤❤
Yeah it’s crazy how unfairly FIFA trated him. Appreciate your support brother 🙏😂
The mental break down, no one to turn to for help. This life is as psychological indeed as it is physical. I commend his spirit.
there's way more to the story, atlético could just buy his contract yet they didn't so there was more to it than just a contract lol
Yeah but they wont go into a lengthly legal battle for an 18 year old (they had Kun Aguero as well)
The crazy thing is that the parents probably never supported him playing football.. same with Iheanacho his dad never supported him playing football but as a soon as he got Mancity opportunity the dad quickly sold his name rights and collected so much money from different people.. Africans need to wake up .. poverty is not an excuse
This is so horrible to even hear. Can’t imagine what he actually went through.
yup. so heartbreaking to hear tbh.
I remember watching the u17 World Cup he was truly outstanding
yup, can see how he was ranked #1
As a Ghanaian myself I feel really sad for him😢
Love from Ghana ❤❤
shoutout to all my brothers and sisters in Ghana 🇬🇭
Can you do a video on ismail aissati? He was number 2 on that list
Fifa just screw over football
It’s crazy how corrupt they were with Sepp
@@RaymarFootballand they're no less corrupt now
1:33 the next sentece really didn't match the opportunity man 😂😂😂
Always ssad when your own parents screw you. Could have just waited until after the tournament.
At the same time you can see where they were coming from but damn they really also are to blame
Ive got another one for you. Souleymane Coulibaly and Lulinha both were tearing up in their own times during their U17 tenures
I wouldn't trust any magazine that calls Football ,, Soccer,,
Funnily enough the word soccer came from the British
So technically it was his parents who ruined his life (not FIFA).
Sadick Adams is still a 🐐
Yup. Glad he got to do what he loved around the world. Hope he can help improve african football as a manager/coach and continue his activism
Easiest way is to put yourself in that situation and you def would not feel the same
Can you please make a video about Hugo Sanchez, Cuauhtémoc Blanco, Rafael Márquez
on the list 👀
At the end of the day there was probably so many more factors that lead his parents to sign him up for a club. Yes fifa could have definitely handled the situation much better but at the end of the day we can’t blame fifa for his parents being so naïve about their own son. I would really hope they would have asked their own son about the situation of signing him to a club where he lived so closely.
Yup, I understand where youre coming from brother. Like some have mentioned, It’s tough out there for many families. fifa could at the very least not have fined him
at the end of the day
@@RaymarFootballThat’s the criminal part FIFA taking money from a kid who had nothing
I don't think I've ever felt this hurt about a RUclips vid. No wonder I hate FIFA .
Yup bro honestly so heartbreaking
man I knew him and damn was he good at Youth level 🇬🇭 😭
he could have signed for Braga or V Guimaraes when he was at ghana
Can you do Trésor Mputu
As an Eastern european I kinda chukled at the racism part(eastern europe never changes)
Sad that he had such a traumatic career
Of course not everyone is, but putting yourself in Sadick’s situation it truly is such a a sad thing
When you are skillful nothing can stop you, no matter what league you play, your skill will be spotted,
Really when was the last time you or your friends watched the Tunisian league. Now how many western world citizen pay attention to that league
Sadick Adams was like a diamond 💎 in the soil, after he was dag out during the u17 world cup
He needed polishing for him to spark out. That why ATM took him to their academy to do that job but that Tunisia team was ready to do that but just to milk him of his raw talent
Know the difference, see the ban bounty fifa put on him, he need to work to pay that off, you can imagine the pressure that was on him
I found old news from 2008.
Saddick Adams:
"The most interested were Betis, Celta, Villarreal, Cadiz and Nantes, however, I followed the advice of my management agency to try out in Vojvodina.
This is so sad it’s to the point I’m so confused as to what he ever did to FIFA ?
So it wasn't FIFA, but his parents.
FIFA could have done better with his case
What happened to Dominic Adiyiah? I remember he also won golden boot in 2009 under 20 WC
JUST HOW GOOD WAS BERBATOV. A VIDEO PLEASE
I need to 👀
We had high hopes for him in Atleti... then he just dissapeared from the B squad and news. Never heard from him again until now.
Adam's dad literally signed the first contract that was thrown at him! There is no way his dad had any involvement in developing Adams like taking Saddick to train because if he did dad would have been very cautious in how he managed Saddicks career. Dad doesn't have a clue about football, all dad saw was $ signs....
yup and they must have been really desperate too its just situation overall
Lol the lawyers were really saying, "say less" and other cool slogans
they might as well have with how they handled that situation ngl
his dad blew it. if fifa didn't screw him, he could have gone on to great things. the fact his dad signed him to tunisia without his knowledge should have had a part in fifas decision. as per usual, poor form fifa, poor form!!!
He's now a sports journalist
This is an extremely sad story. FIFA continues to disappoint but when there is so much money and power and so little oversight, they definitely don’t care.
At least he got a chance to enjoy the game on the field, but wish the rest of the world could have enjoyed him (and vice versa) by being on the big stage.
A question tho. Why didn’t he feature for Ghana after u17? Surely that would have granted him the exposure he deserved.
I remember Sadick ADAMS from Football Manager
Is most faster grow up player in football manager in his time sadick is just 17 years old
