The seal Dribble is like holding the ball with your hands and running with it, I want a player to do that skill in the finals against Real Madrid in the UCL final or any Final against A lethal team.
I remember watching anthony spin the first time he did it for man utd. Only a few gifted footballers can pull it out but nobody done it as perfect as Anthony, every time anthonuly did the spin, it show how unstoppable man utd is.
Ronaldinho's elastico was so smooth Iniesta's La croqueta Di Maria's Rabona, Quaresma's trivela Zidane marseille turn, no current player has mastered these skills than these legends
Saying that's disrespectful is like putting a limit on how many players you could dribble past. I remember Maradona being kicked out of the 1982 World Cup finals.
I was a fullback for school teams back in the 00s and played tons of pickup games at my local park... a couple of times kids would try to use the seal dribble and i would just use my chest or shoulders to jar them off balance and the ball would drop ...
I have to say the most gratifying move to me was the roulette, or back when I was young we called it the maradona for some reason. I cant say I was able to do the elastico or some of the very complex ones, but I did the roulette in a few games and man, when you can get passed the defender and into open space it feels wonderful! haha
This is one reason why brasilian are not dominant and fun to watch as it was before. Players cannot even express their creativity anymore and this is a clear example. They banned a skill that frankly almost every European team would know how to defend from after some time.
As a skill its really impressive, and I do not agree with people who said it's disrespectful. Ronaldinho dissrespected his opponents with his ball handling while he was in his prime and no one complained then. I guess it got to their ego that a kid is making fun of them, which shows how grown they actually are. But I do agree that as a tactic sholuldn't be allowed in a football like that. If you look how he used to use it it leaves very little space for opponents to try and take over the ball. And as he is controlling it with his head, they can't try to reach it with foot because it is a dangerous play, so they also have to try to take ball with their head - which will most likely result in yellow card and both players getting hurt because of such short window for action. If this wasn't banned we would saw it abused massively and changing football drastically. It would guarantee at least free kick every time someone uses it, and probably a card to a player who tried to stop it. So even he mastered it to perfection, from my perspective it was doomed from the start, and only caused him harm.
If everybody would start running with the ball on their heads - that wouldn't be football anymore. There is a rule in basketball wher you can't run with a ball more than a couple steps
Everybody? Only a few players have the ability and the balls to pull it off. Using heads to control the ball shouldn't be against the rules, it's silly.
Kinda understand that the only way to stop the dribble is by body slam him, but when everyone start to blame the kid because the move is an insult to the sport, it's disgusting
Shoulder checking should be enough, it throws off balance without being a foul. It's cheesy, sure, but he got surgeries and got shoulder charged because of his mastery with the ball. I wouldn't mind a limit on the terms of this tactic, but that kind of intent to harm should lead to permanent league suspension.
Please make a video for Dida one of the most underrated goalkeeper of all time i think he is top five of all time alot of people don't know him and it is the (8th) video in a row i am commenting this
Fifa should've kept it legal but also state that everytime you use that skill, opposition can then go into a two-footed sliding tackle without consequence.
One of those was a penalty because he got assaulted. It's soccer.. and refs should protect the player with the ball.. not change the damn rules of the game because a player is too good!
Its got to be a competition. If he seal dribbles then the defenders only option are to let him pass with the ball, kick at the ball (and his face) or barge into him. He was very skilled but his move did ruin football when it was used.
The problem is that seal dribble is unfair. Head is a sensitive place to fight for the ball. You can only dispute it with your own head and it increases the probability of a concussion substantially.
Tbh, I don't think the problem is "disrespect" - it is that the move is a loophole in which the opposition has no way to tackle him without committing a foul. You obviously can't raise your boot to the level of another player's head. Unless he is inside the box, where the goalkeeper to snatch the ball off him with his hands, then the only way you can take the ball off him is to try to butt it away with your own head, which leads to the danger of players colliding heads (and serious injury). It's just a loophole FIFA had to close, or else every player would train themselves to do the same move and be invulnerable on the field, completely changing the game from one of kicking the ball to one of bouncing it on your head.
When you have your eye focused on heading the ball to repeatedly head it you leave yourself extremely vulnerable to getting fouled. You should always be wary on a football pitch and protect yourself from injury because fouls are part of the game and people will try to hurt you to stop you.
I always knew the 'Roulette' as the 'maradona' by my youth team coach... Here is what WIki says: The Marseille turn, also known as the 360, the Spin, the Mooresy Roulette, the Roulette, the Girosflin, and the double drag-back, is a specialised dribbling skill unique to the game of Association football.[1] With so many different names, the exact origin of this skill move is unknown. The Marseille turn was invented by Jose Farias.[2] It was then popularized in Europe by French striker Yves Mariot in the 1970s.[3] Diego Maradona, Michael Laudrup and Zinedine Zidane were arguably the most notable exponents of the move. So yeah, Certainly wasnt invented by Zidane.

He was hated for inventing a prankster gangster gigachad dribbling move.
I remember watching anthony spin the first time he did it for man utd. Only a few gifted footballers can pull it out but nobody done it as perfect as Anthony, every time anthonuly did the spin, it show how unstoppable man utd is.
Ronaldinho's elastico was so smooth
Iniesta's La croqueta
Di Maria's Rabona,
Quaresma's trivela
Zidane marseille turn, no current player has mastered these skills than these legends
Romario-s Cola de vaca
Raul´s cuchara
Saying that's disrespectful is like putting a limit on how many players you could dribble past. I remember Maradona being kicked out of the 1982 World Cup finals.
I was a fullback for school teams back in the 00s and played tons of pickup games at my local park... a couple of times kids would try to use the seal dribble and i would just use my chest or shoulders to jar them off balance and the ball would drop ...
To this day, Atlético Mineiro fans sing a song related to this fact, basically saying “Look, Coelho is a seal killer”.
And I bet, he didn't even have 20 in "Heading" in CM, haiyaa...
A fellow fried rice connoisseur i see
@@Whalordius Of course, and ONLY that...FUIYOH!
Heading is not about juggling your ball for a dribbling. These are fundamentally different skills.
@@HustlerHorstRuediger He use head, Heading skills need
I have to say the most gratifying move to me was the roulette, or back when I was young we called it the maradona for some reason. I cant say I was able to do the elastico or some of the very complex ones, but I did the roulette in a few games and man, when you can get passed the defender and into open space it feels wonderful! haha
I agree with the lad, as a football fan I primarily want to be entertained and if I want to see aggression in sport then I’ll some watch Rugby.
This is one reason why brasilian are not dominant and fun to watch as it was before. Players cannot even express their creativity anymore and this is a clear example. They banned a skill that frankly almost every European team would know how to defend from after some time.
Awesome!!
So even he mastered it to perfection, from my perspective it was doomed from the start, and only caused him harm.
you dont wanna be too innovative in football it seems
This guy was great in FIFA 08
If everybody would start running with the ball on their heads - that wouldn't be football anymore. There is a rule in basketball wher you can't run with a ball more than a couple steps
Everybody? Only a few players have the ability and the balls to pull it off. Using heads to control the ball shouldn't be against the rules, it's silly.
Fantastic creativity & skill, shame the defense couldn’t take the same approach. Surely there is a way to defend this effectively without fouling.
Raymar. I love your videos. But why don’t you have any video King Zlatan.
I really need to do one 🤔
Zidane Roulette is awesome
Hay dos técnicas que nadie ha podido igualar: “La Cuauhteminha” de Cuauhtémoc Blanco y “La Muertinha” de Joel Huiqui.
Hello! Can you make a video in future about Gheorghe Hagi? The Romania legend, Maradona from Carpati! Thank you Raymar!
I definitely need to bro
1:45 Here we go again💀🗿
💀💀🤣
Elástico is still my go to move until the end of time lol
Please make a video for Dida one of the most underrated goalkeeper of all time i think he is top five of all time alot of people don't know him and it is the (8th) video in a row i am commenting this
I only read about it as a kid in a book from a polish author, never knew it was a real thing, thats hilarious😂😂😂not what they did to him😢
Fifa should've kept it legal but also state that everytime you use that skill, opposition can then go into a two-footed sliding tackle without consequence.
Why anyone pays attention to a sport where players are trained to fake injuries because it'll create advantages for their team is beyond me....
@raymarfootballl can you do alessandro nesta pls the best defenders in the mid 2000s.
definitely need to brother
my friend Andres Monge introduced me to this guy like in 2005
30 years before this kid, Michael Manniche was already doing that and in professional football in europe, not against kids in U-teams
Thank god this skill can't be used anymore. I'm not saying he deserved all the injuries, but this so called skill of his is kind of a jerk move.
I understand your point brother, still sad how much punishment he got for it physically
One of those was a penalty because he got assaulted. It's soccer.. and refs should protect the player with the ball.. not change the damn rules of the game because a player is too good!
I spent the first 3 minutes trying to remember Kerlons name 😂
Insane skills
indeed, super hard to purposely do while running
Goatony🐐🗣️
Fifa is killing the football passion.😡
Thank you
seems like it
The Ronaldinho flip-flap or the Maradona turn
Raymar football could you make a video about Bradley barcola he is an underatted baller and he is then next mbappe😂❤
he on the rise 👀
George Best and Bobby Charlton were doing the step over in the 60 s
true, but R9 is probably the most well known for it
2:16 😂😂😂😂
The twitch dribble 😂
🤣🤣🤣 best move of all time
When you have your eye focused on heading the ball to repeatedly head it you leave yourself extremely vulnerable to getting fouled. You should always be wary on a football pitch and protect yourself from injury because fouls are part of the game and people will try to hurt you to stop you.
He got offended by a skill move, even called it disrespectful, but it's not disrespectful for him to dangerously attack a young player,
6 ACL injuries? I don't think I've ever heard of so many ACL injuries in my life. Usually if you tear your ACL twice your done.
I thought it was Thiago Silva from the thumbnail
kind of looks like him huh 🤣
Could you please make a video about what happened to Thiago Alcantara, how good was Diago Forlan,Allan Shearer, Anelka....
great ideas brother, definitely going to in the future
bro, I swear I've heard your voice in those scary stuff videos
Championship Manager LEGEND!
I've stopped watching pro football for many years now.
Same. It’s not magical anymore. No personality. No real tension. Players are more robotic
hopefully these young guys can spark your passion again!

I always knew the 'Roulette' as the 'maradona' by my youth team coach...
Here is what WIki says:
The Marseille turn, also known as the 360, the Spin, the Mooresy Roulette, the Roulette, the Girosflin, and the double drag-back, is a specialised dribbling skill unique to the game of Association football.[1] With so many different names, the exact origin of this skill move is unknown.
I never mentioned these guys invented the moves, just that theyre the most associated with em. Ronaldinho didnt invent the elastico either
The Brazilian selection lost such an amazing talent!
You can see exactly how to stop it. 90 minutes in the Premier League and it would be abandoned, and the player sent to hospital.
wow i neva knew there was such a dribble
It is pretty weird. Imagine a whole team deploying this tactic
From a goal kick, it starts off everyone just heading it
its a very hard skill to do though tbf, he was working on it for years at an early age
These players must have been jealous they couldn't do it too.
The way this was dealt with was that refs were told that other players had to be allowed to challenge for the ball hard and not be penalised.
I bust into laughter seeing him confused other players
He's doing that rocket league dribble
the bouncing ball on forehead thing. i feel that fifa is just trying to protect players from getting their heads booted off by defenders who try to go for the ball
Football is not the same because fifa are trying to banned every skills in football what a joke.
I can understand both sides of the argument but this move was ahead of its time for sure
