its very enjoyable to see gordon's personality change when he's around his kids. he definetely comes out of gordon mode, and goes into dad mode. teaching his kids about ways to prepare food easier, having them guess the different spices, etc. brings me back to my dad pulling me away from my xbox when i was a teenager and making me learn how to prepare all sorts of food, especially meat(everybody seems to have the worst time preparing meat). i now do most of the cooking in my household(my wife loves it) and im going to do my best to be the same way with my kids.

He still holds the record for most Michelin stars with 32 I think and most of his restaurants are still active and extremely high end, creating beautiful food.

I made the lamb breast today. I tried to exactly duplicate Chef Ramsay with only two small exceptions, I added potatoes (which was a great addition) and I used home grown, frozen tomatoes instead of canned. It was sublime! My wife, who isn't really wild about lamb, raved and told me this is the best dish I have ever cooked for her in the 15 years that we've been together. One lamb breast from our local butcher fed 4 amply and cost the same per lb as the lean beef hamburger.
    Thank you Chef Ramsay!!

Gordon, I just want to say thank you. I lost my grandmother 2 years ago. Sadly I never learned to cook much from her and have been suffering in terms of good nutritious food. I lived with her my whole life because my mum was never there for me and she was the main cook in the house. Sadly after, I continuously felt undernourished in compare to the hard and strenuous work I have had to endure in order to pay my bills. I didn't know much about cooking, not understanding how important it is to well being, and started to shed tears because I missed her food and how she prepared it with such nutrition, It truly brought me to tears for a week. McDonalds here, Burger King there, deadly fast foods were my choices without any understanding. My body was gnashing at me and led me to the realization that I was missing the nutrition she provided me, it was very heartbreaking that I was never able to learn from her. Then I found one of your videos... And once I found a couple of those recipes/cooking tutorials, I have felt like She is still here with me. You, so gracefully and lovingly, fill the gap she left too soon to give me. Thank you so much for pouring your wisdom into all of us. I truly love and appreciate you and your being and purpose here on this planet, because it truly is saving my life. Thank you Gordon..

Watching him cook at home is really how i like to watch him.
Hes entertaining on his shows, and there are some 'real' moments on those shows, but i really enjoy seeing him get focused on just the food and the technique. Hes focused and calm. Hes not everywhere at once yelling at idiots. He can run a kitchen and save a restraunt for sure. But he loves the food and making it for people. And seeing him cook with his daughter, that was special.

    Where's the lamb sauce recipe?

    • @arvidolin4318
      @arvidolin4318 6 лет назад +16

      Here it is!
      *Lamb sauce recipie*
      Ingredients
      150g peeled garlic
150g good-quality tinned brown anchovy fillets in oil
      75g parsley (stalks and all)
3 small (or 2 large) lemons, juice
      1 fresh red chilli, chopped
      300ml vegetable oil
      Maldon salt
      1. Blanch the peeled garlic cloves three times: put them in a pan of cold water, bring to the boil and drain, then repeat. After the third blanching the garlic should be soft.
      2. Tip the drained garlic into a blender or food processor and add the rest of the ingredients (the anchovy oil can go in too). Blitz to make a smooth, thick sauce. Chill before use. If the sauce splits a little, you can reblend.

Gordon Ramsay's family is so lucky to have him regularly cooking for them. People pay thousands of dollars for one private Gordon Ramsay-cooked meal, but for his family that's just a normal Tuesday.
