this was probably my favorite Maximal from the show, as well as my favorite toy, I bought one a few years back for about 15 bucks online, and still have it and all its parts to this day, definitely worth the buy
i spent years looking for this guy, and i finally found him missing his swords and one robot mode arm. totally worth it, but i really wish i had a complete one.
I have the Universe version, I had liked it since seeing it in a catalogue, got it for my 13th b'day after seeing it at Toys r us! Still like it years later!
a combination between a wolf and an eagle? reminds me of a griffin except griffins are combinations of lions and eagles and silverbolt is a combination of a wolf and an eagle
I received this figure from a seller on eBay. What I had actually ordered from her was the Tobias/Hawk Animorphs Transformer action figure. But, what I got was this guy. And, she sent me a version of this guy that had NO original packaging, NO missiles, and is missing the left robot arm!
That is the most fucken stupid thing I have ever heard. Fuck whoever sent you that. An arm is one of the most important parts on a toy. So are missiles and at least instructions. Plus it was not even the right thing. P.S. If parts were not missing you should be glad you got Silverbolt because the toy's interpretation of Tobias sucks
I remember I use to have the Universe one. The thing I don't understand is in the show the whole wings and tail part drops down and becomes his back but it doesn't do ghat in the toy form.
Sooooo the same Timeline as usual? Beast Machines is a direct sequel to Beast Wars. Silverbolt even shows up towards the end, but he was all edgy because Megatron forced him to be a psychopath for most of the series.
the only one I could find was the universe one and I'm still debating on whether it is worth painting it because the purple will be hard to cover with grey.
Technically a fuzor was created when a stasis pod was damaged on entry. Tigerhawk is an anomaly. It was originally two fully realized maximals (Air Razor and Tigerclaw(I think)) who were abducted and forcibly merged.
coolest maximal in the show! I think he was Tigatron's replacement in season 2 after the vox abducted him. I read originally the sixth maximal was going to be Wolfang, but to save time and money they did a slight repaint of cheetor. Then in Season two the originally idea of having Wolfang might have encouraged them to bring this guy to the show.
You know, this has kinda confused me now that I think of it, but wouldn't Tigerhawk, another character from Beast Wars, count as a Fuzor as well? I mean, his alt mode is a mix of a tiger and hawk, so naturally it seems to make some sense.
I watched beast wars didn't like it much then silverbolt made me watch until the end of beast machines as he is my favorite character of all transformers
Hey Balmatrix, you said to go watch the old Beastwars show, do you know where I could watch HD versions of the show online for free? Nice review btw, thanks.
I use to have this figure. The one issue this figure has that actually is not show accurate is because of that gimmick. He should be able to fold his wings down so they're flat against his back rather than sticking up over his shoulders like that. He did do that in the show but they weren't constantly stuck in that position. He only did that while attacking which means the toy is forever stuck in attack mode and can't be posed in a more relaxed position. That always really bothered me because Silverbolt is most often seen with his wings down in a relaxed position in the show cause he really didn't like fighting all that much. He did so very defensively but this toy looks so aggressive with his wings stuck in the attack pose. The angry face sculpt doesn't help either. I'd really like Hasbro to do an updated figure without the gimmick so that the wings can have more possibility like in the show. That's really the only improvement they could make is better wing articulation... and a better face sculpt that doesn't look so angry. Other than that the figure is nearly perfect and really is the best Fuzor in the entire toy line.
Not only is Silverbolt one of the best realized toys, he's also oddly the only fuzor whose beast mode is based on a mythological creature. Kursha, from Georgian* mythology. *The country Georgia, no the state.
Oh. Thank you for the correction. It's still weird that they didn't do more mythology based fuzors. I think Bantor is the only other one even remotely close, being part mandrill and part tiger (approximating a manticore).
You keep saying this is one of the best realised toys. I feel like pointing out the characters designs on the show were based off of the toys Hasbro wanted to sell
@Jbartemishowl25 me too,and I still have it,but the joints are now extremely lose,i can't even make him stand in both mode and btw the wing gimmick is broken.....that was my favorite :'(
@@TonyRhodes00 it was in amazing condition paint wise but it was missing the missiles and the end peg of one of the legs is missing. That could've been lost with me though 🤷♂️ Jesus loves you and have a good day!
The best Beast Wars character. I loved his introduction. What is your name? My name is... Title Subtitle... Yes. That sounds right. Fast. Strong. Pure.
I forgot how good this figure was. I really want to see a masterpiece made of him.
Honestly very little would need to change.
Quickstrike is also very well designed. It's obvious why they chose these two for the tv show.
I love Title Subtitle,he's my favorite Maximal from Beast Wars :D
I wish Hasbro would re release this figure he'd look awesome in my collection
He actulally he was more of a knight than a samuri
I was thinking Native American warrior falling for an Asian stripper(Blackarachnia)
i guess I'm kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good website to stream newly released series online ?
@Elliot Ramon lately I have been using flixzone. You can find it on google =)
@Elliot Ramon i watch on Flixzone. Just google for it :)
This figure was one of my many childhood toys back in the 90s.
I used to have this, but sadly I lost him through a time of massive house cleaning. Never saw it again and not even on any shop.......tear.....
Nick Shomles I'm sorry 😭😭😭😭 sighned Kai🐉
I still have mine. It was one of my childhood toys. I got it in a charity shop (both missiles and back legs were missing)
this was probably my favorite Maximal from the show, as well as my favorite toy, I bought one a few years back for about 15 bucks online, and still have it and all its parts to this day, definitely worth the buy
Holy shit, Title Subtitle and the two Information dot points with the one empty tabbed bulletpoint. Incredible.
I have it and it is really a great figure, I still have it in my bookshelf and looks new. :D
Beast Wars rule
i spent years looking for this guy, and i finally found him missing his swords and one robot mode arm. totally worth it, but i really wish i had a complete one.
this was one of the first transformers I ever got when I was a kid, and he's remained one of my favourites ever since
The most majestic, epic, and 🤘METAL🤘 beast!
I have the Universe version, I had liked it since seeing it in a catalogue, got it for my 13th b'day after seeing it at Toys r us! Still like it years later!

Recently found this piece in a thrift store. Very pleased with its beast mode, except missing both feather missiles.
One of my favourite Fuzors and Beast Wars figures. Very show accurate.
I have this guy, but in purple. Love him, even though he's missing a back leg.
Wow, a Beast Wars figure that looks nice in both modes!
My old Silverbolt figure had the same waist issue as yours, except it was like that right out of the box. It annoyed the crap out of me as a kid, lol
I remember I use to have the Universe one. The thing I don't understand is in the show the whole wings and tail part drops down and becomes his back but it doesn't do ghat in the toy form.
that is a really impressive transformation.
the universe repaint was used in a comic book series in the beast machines timeline
Sooooo the same Timeline as usual? Beast Machines is a direct sequel to Beast Wars. Silverbolt even shows up towards the end, but he was all edgy because Megatron forced him to be a psychopath for most of the series.

Best fuzors ever. No question. Still have mine. Only missing one missile
"Silver bolt terror-rise that doesn't roll off of the tongue"
What about tigerhawk? Is he not a fuzor as well?
He is two animals mixed together, but he is considered Transmetal 2.
Jordan Dyer And, given how he’s fused from Tigatron and Airazor, I’d say he makes a fine example of fusions in the entire Transformers franchise.
Technically a fuzor was created when a stasis pod was damaged on entry.
Tigerhawk is an anomaly. It was originally two fully realized maximals (Air Razor and Tigerclaw(I think)) who were abducted and forcibly merged.

This was my favorite toy growing up 😭
I remember getting this guy for Christmas along with torca. I also lost the missles, ha.
I can already hear the fanfares every time I see Silverbolt.
NovaBeast92 lol
did you find the wingmissle? eventually?
You know, this has kinda confused me now that I think of it, but wouldn't Tigerhawk, another character from Beast Wars, count as a Fuzor as well? I mean, his alt mode is a mix of a tiger and hawk, so naturally it seems to make some sense.
TigerHawk is a Transmetal 2 Fuzor, yes
The transformation is genius
Considering we’re getting a legacy silverbolt this would be a good first experience
I like how baltmatrix picks heroic music for the intro
He was the coolest Fuzor toy I actually miss this toy more than Tigerhawk
I watched beast wars didn't like it much then silverbolt made me watch until the end of beast machines as he is my favorite character of all transformers
Back then I always thought silverbolt was a mega/voyager class figure
were can u buy these beast wars toys now and i like how in the series they showed the real prime.
I still love my Silverbolt
Hey Balmatrix, you said to go watch the old Beastwars show, do you know where I could watch HD versions of the show online for free? Nice review btw, thanks.
Here on RUclips, now in 4k
apparently half of silver bolt's parts can be used as parts for trans-metal it's a combination of tiger claw and air razor
Why didnt you try to use the song that ALWAYS plays when Silverbolt is on screen in the beginning?
That music works perfectly for Silverbolt.
Samurai? I think its a knight
unless you're talking about the BM silverbolt. (thinks about his head) eugh.
i think ramulus looks pretty cool aswell
did you ever find that lost wing missile?
The missile shot straight to Narnia
Of course I know who Silverbolt is, he's the leader of the Aerialbots.
Not this one.
I use to have this figure. The one issue this figure has that actually is not show accurate is because of that gimmick. I love Silverbolt, too... both in figure and the show. I also lost one of the feather blades, oh well, I still love it. =)
if you look carefully, you can see that the characters in the show transform the same way that their toys do
One of my Silverbolt's shoulders in robot mode does not peg in. They are uneven. But overall, a very nice figure.
pretty cool looking figure
You are missing they exact same mis-feather that i am.(had it in storage pulled it out looked everywhere cannot find it)
It's not gone forever, have a good look!
Why is the head to freaking hard to turn around? I always need something to help me with it.
Why are only 2 beast wars fuzors toys in the show
i like the intro, though iv noticed that you seem to be running a little low on reviewing materiel?
Thought it was a bear eagle
Kai Rayquazin I thought big rat eagle
the beast mode looks like what you would get if you combined the wolf zord and falcon zord
I hope you find silverbolt’s wing missle
I like this figure, I just wish you could move its wings to its back in robot mode like in the show.
daaaaamn very good toy and character
I had him as a kid lol I loved it
that intro is some real tim & eric shit

+Gyrre Actually it's a Simurgh en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simurgh
Oh. Thank you for the correction.

It DOES suck that you lost one of the missiles and you're right: the wings could use more articulation. If I had extra missiles, I'd send them to you.
Did you find it yet?
Best fuzor figure
You keep saying this is one of the best realised toys. I feel like pointing out the characters designs on the show were based off of the toys Hasbro wanted to sell
I think he's taking about how good the fuzor mode is, because he said something similar with terragator.
I will never forgive what they do with hin in Beast Machines
do you have tigerhawk
4:16 rub symbol?????
I got mine at my old school toy shop but he did not have arms
Amazing intro, should have run with it.
Sliverbolt, MAXIMIZE!!!
now on dvd
I8 actually gave this fuzor as gift to my best friend when we were like 8
nice i like it i think im acually ganna try to get this figure this and torca
its not only your figure. mine has the same problem as yours.
no it was in beast wars
I still have 2 of them.
@Jbartemishowl25 me too,and I still have it,but the joints are now extremely lose,i can't even make him stand in both mode and btw the wing gimmick is broken.....that was my favorite :'(
Seems like transmetal and beyond when figurs are very show acturate i had alot beast wars figures
I remember his accent was like an Old English knight.
I don't remember him having a brittish accent, but he did talk like a knight.
I always wanted him but never got him :(
silver bolt is a noble wolf
I found this for a dollar at good will
Extremely lucky, was it in decent condition? Did it still have the wing missiles?
@@TonyRhodes00 it was in amazing condition paint wise but it was missing the missiles and the end peg of one of the legs is missing. That could've been lost with me though 🤷♂️
Jesus loves you and have a good day!
Silverbolt
Cool Figure!
Had this toy wish I woulda took care of my toys better
TITLE SUBTITLE
The best Beast Wars character.
I loved his introduction.
What is your name?
My name is... Title Subtitle... Yes. That sounds right. Fast. Strong. Pure.
i had him as a kid
I have this one.
