Well done. I was about 105kg when I started cycling outdoors and Zwifting indoors about 2 years ago. Down around 85ish now and fit as I have ever been. Life changing. And its said often but its very true - it doesn't get easier, you just get fitter and faster. Every ride still hurts just as much 😂 but thats where the gains are. Thanks for posting, very encouraging. Its these type of vids that kept me going and spurred me on on the days I didn't want to.
@@Norwegianwatts 😂 a little lost in translation - 105kg to 85kg, so about 20kg. Target is about 80kg but no rush to get there. Feel so much better. A lot of back pain gone. Better mentally. But be warned - it’s expensive! Needed a whole new wardrobe 😂 Massive drop in waist size. At my biggest I was near 20stone (125kg) Got to 105 with some years of weight lifting, the cycling bug took me to next level.
NO PAIN! 146 mins is a great starting point. 💪 It's going to be a great feeling when you smash this next time (with no connection issues). Great to watch you slowly lose your mind up this brutal climb. You smashed it my friend!
@Norwegianwatts 100% deg. Hadde egentlig ikke tenkt å sykle, men så videoen og tenkte «fuck it, jeg prøver». Er svak i psyken, så ca halvveis var rimelig tøff men holdt ut. Tiden ble 1:23. #heltknekt
@@Norwegianwatts at a point it became inevitable. After losing a lot of weight, I was no longer making progress, especially because I hadn't changed the way I was eating. So I reduced alcohol, sugar, took more proteins and vegetables. I also take 30 grams of whey after each long session to help my muscles recover from the effort. And the secret: never give up! I am now in category B on zwift (3.4w/kg) whereas at the beginning I couldn't stay on a bike for 10 minutes without having a sore ass! Keep going, the efforts pay off, believe me!
I believe you sir! My sore ass can confirm 😮💨 I should increase my overall protein intake as well. I do not drink alcohol(for 6th year stright now). I will be consistant over time 😃💪🏻 u inspire me sir!!
great ride up the Alpe , never give up , heja heja , try some of the shorter climbs or the climb portals ( but be aware there some brutal long and steep ones )

@@dewidavies7995 What is 18 stone 9 pounds??
You are an inspiration. I've tried it twice and only made it to turn 13 so far. I will keep trying until I do it.
Thanks man! You will do it! Eat during the ride..!! I did it once without carbs, died halfway through😂 keep grinding Dave🤩
Way to stick it out until the end, well done! We need to figure out how to boost your voice in the edit though, can barely hear you.
Thanks for the feedback 🫡 for the videos from now on i have a wireless microphone❤
Good job! I remember when I have 100 kg and ride with 0,7-1,2 w/kg. Keep training and you will see progress! 🦾👍🚴♂️💨

@@Norwegianwatts I lost 20kg in 18 month on cycling. Very efficient. Now I ride 1000 km/ month ! Keep on ! Ride on !
@emmanueljammes6481 holy smokes!! 1000km per month is my dream! Love to hear that! So did you combined with some sort of diet or?

Bra du er sta, jeg hadde et par sesonger bak meg på rulla før jeg hamret meg opp der 😂
Hehe!😅 ja der er SEIG 🥵 men det er vel flere heftige fjell i Zwift?

Good job man! I only got my fat ass 1/3 of the way up before i tapped out. I hope to beast it out like you did soon!
Thanks man! Give it some time, and eat during the ride! I failed the first time about 1/3 of the way too. 🥵 soon we will be 2(!) fat asses on the top🥳
