aside from Lambchop, I remember my mom introducing me to The Magic Garden and I thought it was so awesome. My Mom also introduced me to Bear in the Big Blue House and I found Barney on my own somehow lul.

People are different, have different tolerances, different bodies, different brains, different abilities. It depends on the person and situation. I don't know this TJ character, but his introduction clearly stated he's aware of his own limits, and he brought someone and accepted the responsibility for getting them home. So am I to believe he's a liar who actively put his friend into a dangerous situation with no clear out? Doing a roundhouse kick and driving a single mile are not equally comparable tasks. The fact that he said shit like "heeeyyyy come ooonnnn you knowwww meeee" makes him sound like a piece of shit, but that's manipulation on the part of the writers because they have a definite correct and incorrect answer in mind. In real life it doesn't work that way. People don't know in advance. If that other dude REALLY was concerned aboot TJ driving, he'd offer to take the girl home himself, or get someone else to handle it. The situation needs to be resolved because she's uncomfortable and that's the priority. And in real life? I WOULD have known TJ, and I WOULD have been well aware of his capabilities and limits, and would be able to make that judgement call. Fuck you, stupid old game, you don't know what TJ can handle. Quick tip for people still living through their 20's: if your primary fear is that you'll be pulled over, then it's okay to question. If your primary fear is that someone will get hurt, don't do it. If someone who knows you REALLY well says you're probably in bad shape, don't argue aboot it and trust them. Have confidence when sober but don't translate that into boasting when you're drunk. Always plan ahead, have back ups, and enforce clear limits on what you're willing to do. But the BEST plan is always to never have to drive, because then you no longer have to limit yourself or be anxious aboot responsibility and can just focus on getting shit faced and having a good time. Trust me on this, responsibility is for sober people, it can really fuck up your high.

In real life it doesn't work that way. People don't know in advance. If that other dude REALLY was concerned aboot TJ driving, he'd offer to take the girl home himself, or get someone else to handle it. The situation needs to be resolved because she's uncomfortable and that's the priority. And in real life? I WOULD have known TJ, and I WOULD have been well aware of his capabilities and limits, and would be able to make that judgement call. Fuck you, stupid old game, you don't know what TJ can handle.
Quick tip for people still living through their 20's: if your primary fear is that you'll be pulled over, then it's okay to question. If your primary fear is that someone will get hurt, don't do it. If someone who knows you REALLY well says you're probably in bad shape, don't argue aboot it and trust them. Have confidence when sober but don't translate that into boasting when you're drunk. Always plan ahead, have back ups, and enforce clear limits on what you're willing to do. But the BEST plan is always to never have to drive, because then you no longer have to limit yourself or be anxious aboot responsibility and can just focus on getting shit faced and having a good time. Trust me on this, responsibility is for sober people, it can really fuck up your high.
