Yes it did. DFW is situated on both sides of what I believe is Texas State Highway 121. Terminals B, and D are on the West side, and terminals A, C, and E are on the East side. Their runways are also split on each side of the highways. So there are several bridges that connect the airport on either side of the highway.
I understand people wanting to see more of the scenery, but as my channel is focused on aviation, the airplane and more particularly, the wing, is an important part of what most people come to channel to see. I could argue that the wing is the focal point of all of my videos. But, the overall purpose of my channel is to showcase the beauty of aviation, and that ultimately includes the views we get when flying. So, I suppose it’s a fine line trying to get the best angle of all the aspects involved, including the views 🤷🏻♂️. Thanks for watching my friend!
Thanks for that my friend. Just FYI though, to save you the time in the future, I lost those timestamps in the video description so you don’t have to spend the time doing it. Thanks my friend!
I do appreciate that my friend. It does take a large time/financial commitment to keep this channel running, so I appreciate it when people realize that! Thanks for watching!
It's also likely that some of it is old hydraulic fluid. It probably spilled during a maintenance check or repair, and in an attempt to get the aircraft back in service as quickly as possible it was just left. It's not unusual to see that, especially on older aircraft like this. Thanks for watching guys!
You're lucky to get a meal at all. A few years ago American didn't even give you a meal on the flights from DFW-Hawaii. Thanks for watching my friend!
6000km in 2 hours?! 🤨
Obviously this is edited. I cut out about 6 hours of the cruise portion of the flight. I list how long the flight actually was in the video description.

Thanks my friend! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
@@sla31! Thanks my friend, good look.
How are u Brazilian and don’t know how to spell it???
@@alycemcknight6715! I don't speak very well english.
At 35:42, it looks like Mexican Food
It does have that appearance. However, it was a teriyaki chicken wrap. It wasn't bad considering it was airline food from a cardboard box.
@@sla31 But not much of a meal for a flight that long.
@@ksbear2 It really wasn't bad. It was filling, and honestly, it was pretty much exactly what you get on any other "lunch" flight to Hawaii. I recently flew from OGG-OAK on Hawaiian and had pretty much the exact same meal on that flight. I'm not saying you're not right, just that it's basically what you should expect on any of the US airlines going to Hawaii.
IDK why it feels like a plane landing on MARS.
The Big Island, with all of its hundreds of years old lava flows, can look like a different planet. All of that black rock you see is old lava flows! Thanks for watching my friend!
AA should be ashamed to have such filthy wings
My uncle flies a united 777
That's awesome my friend! Sounds like he's got a good gig!
Skylite Productions yeah and I want to be an airline pilot one day too, not sure if I want to fly for American or United though
@@nickgresla234 That's a great goal my friend. If the pilot shortage is as bad as they say it is you'll have your choice when that time comes. Keep at it man!
Skylite Productions I’m currently going for my private pilot certificate
@@nickgresla234 I have my private license. It got in 2009 I think. It's a lot of un for sure!
400th like!!!
Thanks my friend!
I would have prefered to see a little more of the cabin and the catering. They gave you just a burrito and a bag of chips, that was all???
Yeah. That's all you get. Believe it or not, American didn't used to feed you on these flights. I remember back when they were 767's and I flew from DFW-OGG and DFW-HNL and back then you didn't get a meal. It was insane. Thanks for watching man!
this doesn't seem like a normal takeoff by any stretch..
Not sure what you mean. Seemed pretty normal to me. Thanks for watching!
I wish I could have a chance to fly this advanced bird, the B777, I get sick flying the stone age ilyushin 76! we flown them by vodka not jet fuel!
And here I'd love to fly on an Ilyushin 76. Thanks again for watching man!
Did that plane go across a bridge to get to runway can sombody tell please???pretty cool
Yes it did. DFW is situated on both sides of what I believe is Texas State Highway 121. Terminals B, and D are on the West side, and terminals A, C, and E are on the East side. Their runways are also split on each side of the highways. So there are several bridges that connect the airport on either side of the highway.
@@sla31 wow super cool thanks for responce my friend☺
Nice video but need to sit away from over the wing 😀
I understand people wanting to see more of the scenery, but as my channel is focused on aviation, the airplane and more particularly, the wing, is an important part of what most people come to channel to see. I could argue that the wing is the focal point of all of my videos. But, the overall purpose of my channel is to showcase the beauty of aviation, and that ultimately includes the views we get when flying. So, I suppose it’s a fine line trying to get the best angle of all the aspects involved, including the views 🤷🏻♂️. Thanks for watching my friend!
22:44 Takeoff
Thanks for that my friend. Just FYI though, to save you the time in the future, I lost those timestamps in the video description so you don’t have to spend the time doing it. Thanks my friend!
I always like to do something like that
I didn't here passengers clapping after that landing
It's very rare to hear that in the US. I can only recall one or two flights in the US where I remember that happening. Thanks for watching man!
10:40 what is that sound and why am i hearing that alot
Thanks for watching guys, and thanks for that answer Mason!
It's nice how he torture's his wallet just for awesome views and likes.
I subscribe.
I do appreciate that my friend. It does take a large time/financial commitment to keep this channel running, so I appreciate it when people realize that! Thanks for watching!
@@sla31 You are very welcome! I like watching your videos because I like aircraft's and I do want to become a pilot one day.
this bad boy needs a wash
It did need a good wash. American could do this with a lot of their planes. Thanks for watching man!
Dirty wing OMG please give it a bath.
Why the ugly stains on the wings?
All the grease from the joints. The same thing that happened when you take your car to service
It's also likely that some of it is old hydraulic fluid. It probably spilled during a maintenance check or repair, and in an attempt to get the aircraft back in service as quickly as possible it was just left. It's not unusual to see that, especially on older aircraft like this. Thanks for watching guys!
looks scarey
Nothing to be scared of. Just a normal flight. Thanks for watching my friend!
You want to see dirty aircraft its Russian hands down i don't think I've been on one that was cleaned since new
нихера себе он (самолет) ОГРОМНЫЙ!
Thanks for watching my friend!
You flew over my house.
That's pretty cool! Thanks for watching!
american 240 heavy taxi into position and hold.....position and hold AA 240 heavy...
Thank you for watching my friend!
They say line up and stop now.
and where does all that liquid fuel go, oh yeah that skinny little wing with flaps full of hydraulics.
That is true. Good thing that's not fuel on the wings! thanks for watching man!
Aircraft is dirty
It sure was. She was in need of a good wash!
US airlines inflight meals are pathetic, domestic meals on Europian carriers are better.
You're lucky to get a meal at all. A few years ago American didn't even give you a meal on the flights from DFW-Hawaii. I flew on a flight from DFW-OGG for 10+ hours on a 767-300 with no meal a few years ago. So, it might not look like much, but I'll take it considering the alternative. Thanks for watching my friend!
I think AA is the only one that does this for flights to Hawaii and Alaska. However business and 1st class is fine.
Also business class for flights to Hawaii are the way to go for better food
@@Dropkickurteacher Business class is really just the way to go period. :D
kinda dirty
Yes it was. The airline has to keep it flying to make money! No time for a wash! Thanks for watching my friend!
hflf what is children i am love
Thanks for watching my friend!
Clean that dirty wing
A lot of American's planes could use a good scrub! Thanks for watching my friend!
