Every time I see or fly the 777, during engine start, during the tests and when the flaps go down, before the plane lifts off, when the flaps come up, when the flaps go down, when the landing gear goes down and just before touchdown, and when the flaps go up, the strange whine, I love it, if anyone ever took it off, I might stop flying the 777 and switch my favorite to the a350. Reference : 1:36:54 thats what i'm talking about
I'm sitting here in my man cave watching this, with winter just around the corner and it gave me a nice warm glowing feeling looking at that lovely Floridian sunshine. It reminded me of all our trips there back in the day, before retirement! Also loved all of the activity from the wing control surfaces and a bit of low air pressure condensate on final, thanks for sharing and regards from the UK :-)
Back again! Had to change my channel again! Be sure to ck out my new one! Im sure American airlines economy is better than the 777-300er that KLM has. Those were some brickseats from Schiphol to Atlanta last September
That is exactly what we did. When the winds are out of the west and you're inbound from the west you have to swing out over the Atlantic to line up for landing.
Well, there are multiple reasons why they do this. In reality DFW-MIA really isn't that short of a route. For a 777 yes, but It's 1,400 miles to drive between the two cities, so not like it's a short hop. But, Dallas/Fort Worth and Miami are both major populations centers in the US. The Dallas/Fort Wroth metro population is over 7.5 million and Miami has a metro population of over 6 million. That's a lot of people. In contrast, some of the places American serves in the Caribbean like Grand Cayman, St. Thomas, and Sint Maarten have populations of 50,000, 40,000, and 40,000. So, flying a 777 between DFW and MIA isn't really that farfetched considering the populations of the two cities. DFW and MIA are also both major American hubs. It's not unusual at all to see airlines flying large aircraft between hubs. American routinely runs 767's, A330's, 787's, and 777's between their hubs. I've flown 787's between DFW and ORD, 777's between DFW and MIA and LAX and MIA, and even an A330-200 from PHL-CLT. They do this because they need to move large numbers of people between hubs. Say someone is flying from MIA to SGF. There is no direct flight from MIA to SGF, so that passenger has to connect through one of American's other hubs. There are a lot of passengers that need flights like this everyday. Meaning American needs seats for passengers just trying to get to the hub, and all the passengers who need to connect thorough that hub. Meaning hub to hub flights are in high demand. Hopefully that helps shed some light on the subject my friend. Thanks for watching!
Yeah... I’m not sure what app your using to get driving times, but DFW and MIA are almost 1,400 miles apart. You’d be lucky to make that drive in 17 hours, let alone the 3-4 hours you’re suggesting. These two cities are nowhere near as close as you seem to be suggesting. Not only that, but these are two of the major population bases in the US, so I don’t think a 777 on this route is that unusual. That’s not even taking into account that’s these are both major American hubs. Hub to hub routes often times have much larger aircraft than you would usually think operating between them because the airline needs to move a lot of passengers between them. So, I’m not sure I agree at all that this is strange to see a 777 on this route. Either way. Thanks for watching my friend!
I'm a Flight Attendant forgive me if I'm stupid with the ground commute.. I just esst time based on my base transfers by car..im told it took 2 hours from ATL to MIA...I fly DFW to MIA all the time those few hours seem so short when your working
They could, but if the demand is there to fill a 777 then they're going to run a 777. Not only are Dallas and Miami two of the largest population centers in the US, but they're both major American hubs. So, American needs to move a lot of people between them.
Man, that was great! all the hydraulics, engine sound, video quality!
Thanks my friend! I’m glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing Plane
Great!!!!!
I know I'm kinda randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Mekhi Mohammad i would suggest Flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
That landing was butter.
Very nice video. You folks arrived at my gate D25 jajaja. i do the ramp. Thx for flying with us
The true power of Those Rolls Royce Trent 892’s really shows 12:03 during takeoff. It sounds like Krakatoa erupting.

Hey man, thanks for showing us the snacks at 42:14. That was the highlight of the video!! Great job all around though.
Thanks for watching my friend! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
It always amazes me how quickly something as large as a small fleet of semi's rolling at 200 mph can get stopped and nothing is smoking lol
Or can lift off the ground with such ease. Thanks for watching my friend!
I'm new to your channel and I absolutely love your videos!!
I'm glad my friend! I strive to produce the best quality videos possible, and I'm always happy to hear when people enjoy them. Thanks for watching!

Nice video. Just flew the 777's, lovely airplane.

I have also done the American 777 from DFW-MIA around ten months before this flight.
Thanks for watching my friend! Hope you had a good flight!
It's helloween for you 🎃😁😊

THE THUMBNAILLLL
*BRUH NICE VIEW*
From Houston Texas to Alaska there's a 747 flight other than that a 777200 from Iah to Hawaii departs daily.
Ah yes, the good old United Houston to Honolulu express. I've never flown it, but would like to some day. Thanks for watching my friend!
Did it even land?🤣❤️🔥
I do this flight so much but never get 777 on it
Is it Morning or evening I can’t tell
This was a morning departure.
It looks like you went out over the Atlantic and made a U-turn back to Miami.
That is exactly what we did. When the winds are out of the west and you're inbound from the west you have to swing out over the Atlantic to line up for landing.
40:22 & 42:08 So, do you prefer Coke, or Pepsi?
I'm a Coca Cola fan, all the way. I'll drink Pepsi, but if given a choice, I always go for Coke.
I always wonder why American Flies such Large Aircrafts like 777 Short Distances (DFW-MIA) and Flies a 737 lets say from MIA to the Caribbean.

@@sla31 I totally get it..Makes a whole lotta sense.
I gave up with this after 40 minutes of watching the wing flaps keep the plane in level flight.
You know, I have much longer videos than this one if you want to keep watching haha.
good
a 777 for a flight of an hour?
Yes. American runs a lot of their 777's on short domestic routes. Especially those between hubs like DFW-LAX, DFW-MIA and DFW-ORD.
@@sla31 ohh alright.
777 from DFW TO MIA ? ITS ONLY A 3 HOUR DRIVE.. LIKE THE OLD DAYS OF BURBANK TO SAN DIEGO ON A TRI STAR?? WEIRD PAX
It's all about moving lots of People

They could’ve just let a 737 do that short flight
