Good god all mighty that was the smoothest landing I've ever see. Truly beautiful
Thanks for watching my friend!
That pilot greased that landing. Wow.
It was pretty impressive, especially considering how much wind we were getting on final.
Absolutely, about as smooth as you can do without the plane not detecting it. Some pilots says the 777 is the easiest existent plane to butter...
That was just effortless in so many way , watching the vid I almost never knew it landed
That was a very very cool but almost scary approach
Super smooth landing👍
Plenty of butter on that landing. I'd say that you got pretty much the best seat on that plane. LOVED that view....and the awesome grunt coming from those Trents.
This was a great flight for sure. Thank you for watching my friend!
Trying to figure it all out...why is this better than any Hollyweird shows ever??? The real vs the fake! Love my country!!
Bruh that *SOUND OF THE PLANE*
I've always noticed like 2 main sounds. There's the noise that sounds like a large generator or motor of some kind which is most prominent during takeoff and while climbing higher into the sky. Then there's the scraping jet noise, which I've noticed gets to its loudest closest to and during cruising altitude (and quiets down again during descent). I think the latter noise is simply connected to the speed of aircraft, it's fastest at cruising altitude (560 mph) and slower around takeoff and descent (180 mph - 230 mph). But the generator noise is mainly at takeoff and climbing, so that noise is more connected to the engines pushing the aircraft upwards rather than speed, I guess
LoL
Imagine if it was full power
Rolls-Royce Trent 892's singing the song of their people. By far the best sounding high bypass turbofan engine ever produced.
I LOVE flying into/out of Miami. Such a great approach from the East. It's even better at night. I lived there most of my life.
13:27 THAT SOUND!
5:16 Love when the Trent 800 comes to life
I thought they ge900?
@@dumitrulangham1721 nah they’re trent 800s
@@dumitrulangham1721 GE-90 on the 777-300ERs
@@arcy330ci You also have GE90 on the 200, 200ER and 300 (first generation 777). But they aren’t as successful as the trent 800 or PW4000
Anyone else got goosebumps when that RR spooled up? :D
Those are the Trents that RR had to beef up as big as they could, they are more powerful than the ones on the A380 lot of people dont know that.
Just listen to the absolute power of that turbine. Bet you can feel it too.
Man you gave us the whole full flight this time too! Thank you!! 😇
44:42 That's New Orleans East at the bottom of the view, the US 11 bridge on the left and Twin Spans (interstate 10) to the right, with Slidell, Louisiana at the end of both of those. I live just north of there and recognized it immediately!
The departure lines at DFW were so busy! From what I could see , the plane crossed over the smaller part of the Everglades, then flew over and back to Miami!! Beautiful views, and I don’t miss I-95 crunches of traffic!! Great video, thank you for sharing!🛫💺🛬
Even with Covid, DFW is as busy as ever. Thanks for watching!
I counted thirteen in line to take off.
The spool up on a 777 is as satisfying as a membrane keyboard's clicking
(gamers will know what im talking about)
Look at this MASSIVE engine!!!
that roar tho, nothing sounds better then that
What a stunning approach! Awesome video, as usual!
Hey skylite That’s what I call a perfect seating arrangement Thanks for sharing 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍✌️✌️😷🛩🛩🛫🛫🛬
Beautiful Miami, how I miss South Florida!
Thank you for a wonderful window seat view. The 777 is an underrated model, and this flight crew absolutely handled her with style & grace!
no ones gonna talk about how smooth that landing was
I wasn’t really focusing on the landing when I was watching the video but after watching it a few times I saw that the landing was buttery smooth
Excellent filming, and superb trip report! Thanks a lot Skylite!
Thanks my friend!
Beautiful view downtown Miami.
Love flying into Miami and seeing my ship 🚢 on the water 😍
Nice approach over Miami Beach! Lovely sound....
777 engines always sound amazing! Nice flight as always! ✈😊
This is the best 777 video I’ve seen on RUclips and that’s saying a lot, as I’ve seen plenty of good ones!
I’m glad you enjoyed it my friend.
Wow! This one I had to watch! Beautiful engine sounds, amazing departure and arrival, buttery landing. This is one you can’t miss!
It was a great flight!
Awesome video !! Such great views too- almost sounded like the start of a go around at 1:57:18 ✈️✈️
It’s because of the strong Winds when it happens it can usually ramp the fan blade rpm a bit
Wahnsinn dieses tolle Flugzeug. Liebe die Boeing 777. Die Fan Spitzen erreichen bei ihrer Umdrehung Schallgeschwindigkeit und deshalb ensteht dieses knattern.
Nice flight. Great video work.
Trent 800 just sounds so aggressive! I love it!
Another great video 🛫❤️
I was waiting for this one! Can’t wait to watch it
wow, butter landing
The the landing at Miami is gorgeous!

Thank you so much, I really enjoy your videos. I have a question for you: how often do you fly?
the landing at Miami always great. I could see my house! LOL!!! Thank you for sharing with all of us!
Good to see you back on AA
Great video!
Now that's what I call a smooth landing!
I'm so happy i came across your channel. Its exactly what I am looking for when trying to enter my happy place.
I’m glad you’re enjoying the content my friend!
Nice Video my friend!
good flight~! First Subscription Completed
Omg!This is the video that SP said a few weeks ago on his Community post!I’v been waiting for this! :O
Me 2
Me gustan mucho sus videos. Son increibles. Gracias por mostrarlos.
I did a similar flight, it was from PR to MIA on Amerian plane 777-200ER
One of the best sounding engines right there.
Awesome , Thanks
Beautiful.
wow! amazing thumbnail and video - love seeing American's 777s with Rolls Royce Engines
Meh, it ain’t a 777 to me unless it’s got GE90’s. Would you like a A350 with GE90’s? I think not.

I've flown American, never have I seen the luxuries offered in this video.
Thanks for flying and keeping me employed lol. And great video as always!
On some flights, I do feel like I'm single handedly trying to keep the airlines alive haha. Thanks for watching man!
@@sla31 hoping your confidence and people watching shows they can also feel safe and come back. Always enjoy and always like your content! Shown it to a few people I work with and we look to see if we any of our flights 😂
@@dubb3740 Nice my friend! You wouldn't be the first people to find that I was on a flight they worked. Whether it's ground crew, flight attendants, or pilots.
Thank you.
It's always a great video when you're sitting in front of a pair of GEs
RR’s in this case 😉. But yes, you are right. Thanks for watching my friend!
Smooth landing
Lindo voo. Parabéns pelas imagens incríveis!!!!
Nice engine roar
Butter landing. Nice reverse ops vid.
Muy lindos sus videos Skilite Productions unas de las mas lindas aproximaciones que vi hacia un aeropuerto en este caso MlA
That was a great landing.
Ahh Miami! I'd love to go there one day and visit the Miami Vice filming locations
Miami is definitely worth a trip! Thanks for watching my friend!
This engine is epic ...sounds soooo great.like nascar in the sky❤❤❤❤❤
Travelled on a b777 from dubai to manila back in 2019.great.
Good mate!!
Very impressive 👍
That engine is super good sounding... BUT IT STILL DOESN'T BEAT THE GE90 :DDDDD
That Buzz saw
you can clearly see the planet's curvature, especially at 46:53
Superbe arrivée sur Miami merci pour la vidéo ( De FREJUS-FRANCE)
amazing!!
could you put this on a loop say for like 8-10 hours it would be good for sleep
I have actually been looking at doing that. When I have some extra time I’ll see what I can do.
Amazing F Sharp Pitched Motor!!
Best sound ever
Thanks for watching my friend!
@@sla31 you are welcome 😊
Stupid COVID!! I miss traveling and flying so much.. that I will watch this video from start to finish.. and pretend I am flying... lol
1:58:46 welcome to Miami
Roar 🔥
Thanks Skylite P for another great journey. Very interesting topology at 35:20 with the rivers seeming to stop against the wall. Anyone know where this is so I can google earth it? Thanks.
Thanks my friend. I'm not sure where that is. It does look very interesting though! It would've been somewhere along the gulf coast, before we started out over the gulf.
@@sla31 Cheers. That's a starting point at least. I can play around in the rough area. If i find out I'll add it here.
Good !
Was that type of landing because of how much space he had to work with
It’s always that one person on a flight that coughs that makes they flight ✈️ more interesting an realistic
10/10
GEnX engines: Areial Tornado Sirens!!!!!
I'd appreciate it if you could tell me the name of the BGM when the video starts.
The song I use at the beginning and end of my videos is Fragments by Sappheiros and the link to his upload is in the description of every video. Thanks for watching!
I am so scared to get on a plane 😭
That’s where my home is 😊
Wow when I was on a flight with uselessnited from Houston to Detroit (a LONGER flight), I did not get that nice of a snack. All I had were melted gummy bears that were left in my mom’s car (thanks Texas heat) and some pretzels. Looks like I should fly with American. Lol
Big pleasure for my ears when the pilot flying reduced the rpm on the engines ( 18:50 ).
The sound during the climb was definitely to loud. Normally the 777 is a real silent aircraft. Hmmm.
The first time I got to hear that I got really scared because I didn't know that was normal, but now I love it.
You may be thinking of the, much quieter, General Electric engines that are offered on the 777-300. They do not have the characteristic engine buzz that these old Rolls-Royce Trent engines have. The audio in this video was not altered in anyway. I did not increase the sound, I did not boost it in anyway, this is what you get on older 777-200’s when you sit in front of the engines. It’s music to my ears. Thanks for watching my friend!
Do they let you stick the gopro to the window and record ?
Some airlines do, some don't. I can't really give you the exact answers to that as I hold the camera by hand 95% of the time.
Butter
I keep telling myself that I look forward to making an international full flight vlog, but then the travel ban keeps being pushed ahead again and again. Sigh! I miss it! Super nice vlog ☺
13:00 minutes into the video is Music to my ears
Pretty awesome isn’t it!? Thanks for watching!
@@sla31 👍👍👍
Do I get to accumulate frequent flier miles for watching this flight? :-)
Omg I was on that flight. ✈️
This exact flight??
Yes
13:30 Are those planes seen on takeoff grounded due to COVID or are they awaiting takeoff?
They were waiting to takeoff. DFW remains busy even with Covid.
You're not going to say a word to the sky?..555
Shreveport, Louisiana at 31:50
Long runways at MIA so he can afford to let it float abit to get a smooth touchdown.
Not too many heavy jet domestic flights in the US anymore
Surprisingly, there has actually been more since Covid. With so many high-profile international routes being cut, the airlines are having to deploy their widebody flights domestically to keep the airplanes and crews current. There’s actually a surprisingly large amount of domestic widebody flights right now.
There are still some. Pre-Covid in '20, I was on a 777 from Phoenix to Albuquerque, full flight.
How do u record these videos? In the description it says u used an Iphone 11. Do u literally hold the phone to the window or is there a special case? Thx
No special case. I do have some suction cup mounts that I use for time lapses, but for flights, I hold the camera by hand. Thanks for watching!
@@sla31 By hand???? That's insane!!! How do you not get sore?? XD
@@Falcon9Block5 Lots of practice haha. Of course, my arm does get tired, but I've gotten to the point where I can hold the camera for about an hour before I need to take a break.
@@sla31 Wow.. You have a pretty steady hand hahaha. U could practically be a surgeon XD
1:31:57 - I'm guessing that you skipped then due to getting up to use the restroom. Just wondering, how many minutes did you skip over then?
I don’t remember the exact reason why I stopped filming there. I do cut out some portions of the flight for various reasons. First, I hold the camera by hand, and do not use a mount. I have never been able to find a mount that doesn’t transfer vibrations from the aircraft into the camera. Also, because I hold the camera by hand, for reasons like you stated, to use the restroom, eat any meal that I get, etc. Sometimes it’s just because my arm needs a break haha. That being said, the time I list in the video description, is the time from the aircraft door being closed, until it is opened again at the destinations. So, even though the time in the description is about 25 minutes longer than the runtime of this video, pretty much the entire flight was still shown.
@@sla31 they're all understandable reasons, I don't think I could hold my arm up an entire flight either, and I sure couldn't go an entire flight without getting up to use restroom. You did film alot of great views on this flight
