I flew last year on this route. Was on a tour from London to LA then Honolulu and Vegas to end in Miami then back to London. Initially the flight was supposed to be non stop service from Las Vegas to Miami but was changed. Wasn't happy but it turned out worthy as I'd never been on a 777 of any kind in my life so can't complain that. Been on nearly every long haul aircraft just awaiting A350 and B787 someday

You would be surprised how many planes are flown that are 15+ years old. Planes are extremely reliable and maintained very well.
