This is easily one of the best vids on your channel, the absolutely gorgeous clouds, soothing sounds, quiet cabin, cant think of anything else to make this video better
I've gotten into a habit of liking most of your videos before viewing them...because I know they're going to be good...as I did this with one which didn't disappoint.
Now that I am working from home full time thanks to covid, I love putting on your full flight videos and just letting them run. I enjoy being able to just look over at my personal laptop and see the flight. Thank you for your work!
In just three weeks I will be on the plane flying from Santo Domingo to Philadelphia. It's so good to hear what is happening after two and a half years of being away from home.
I only traveled in airplanes when I was like 4 years old and it's been 16 years since I've been in a plane and your videos bring me a strange nostalgia feeling and I feel very calm listening to the cabin sounds... Thanks for these great videos!
I know first time Airbus fliers wanted to get off the plane as soon as they heard that PTU barking away! Like I wish Flight Factor and Toliss used your audio for the A319/320/321 for X-Plane 11 because this audio is top-notch!
Hahaha. I’ve been flying on Airbus aircraft for more years then I can count. The aviation enthusiast in me will fly on anything. But the passenger in me typically prefers Airbus over Boeing. To this day, with the A320 family being around for decades, it’s still almost every flight that a passenger asks people around them if they know what that noise is. 🤷🏻♂️. Anyways, I’m glad you think the audio is top notch. It is always my goal to have the best quality content possible. And that includes the audio.
My most frequent domestic route between 2007-2016. I will have to remember to book a seat on the right side so that I can get the same view at 1:45:25 of NAS Dallas, my base from 1996 to 2007. The approaches into DFW typically went over the base like in the vid during the winter months.
Typing this as the flight(in the video) landed, and I just arose my my 40 minutes nap. I skipped over some parts to fit the timeframe. I had my earbuds in the whole time and felt if I was actually on the plane. I was sleeping as if I were in flight. Wow
Another good one Bryce, many thanks! I saw some sort of dirt race track on your approach to DFW and once I had established which runway you landed on, I eventually found it, namely Lone Star Park, I think?? Regards Paul :-)
I had never noticed that. Looks like it’s a horse racing track. That’s a type of sport I’ve never attended. Good catch there. I’ve flown over that, who knows how many times, and I’d never noticed it.
MCO has 2 long runways at 14000 ft 18L&R36 L&R was used by the US Air force back in the 60s and 70s, Orlando international Airport was formerly named McCoy Air force Base just one of the many homes of the B52 Bomber FYI. Anyways nice video
I do not know why, but I have a fetish for Orlando Airport. Usually, San Francisco is the airport I love the most, but recently within the past year or so, Orlando became number two.
Well, I fly on American a lot. Typically, I like them. But, I also have status with them. If I did not have status..... eh.... I don’t know that I would be as gracious in my review of American. I feel like a lot of the reason why I think they’re OK, is because I have perks that most of the other passengers don’t have. In reality, American has been inching closer and closer to the business model of Spirit and Frontier. In fact, right now, because American is not blocking middle seats, I am not flying on American. I am flying on Southwest, Delta, and if available JetBlue, Alaska, and Hawaiian. I’m actually doing a status match challenge with Delta at the moment. I already have status on Southwest. I honestly don’t know if I will go back to American when this is over. And that’s a real problem for American. If they have flyers like me, who have status with them, who aren’t willing to fly on them right now, and are getting status on other major airlines. They could be in a world of hurt when this pandemic is over.
Skylite Productions even with the middle seat open you aren’t 6 feet apart from the other person. We have flu vaccines yet people still get and die from the flu. Just wish everything would return back to normal. Wash you hands, cover your mouth when you cough/sneeze and stay home when sick...
Nothing to worry about. It's simply the power transfer united or (PTU) that helps maintain pressure in all of the aircraft's hydraulic systems. It's just abnormally loud on Airbus aircraft haha.
Typically, the answer would be no. Usually I fly only for the channel. However, I actually took this specific trip to visit Disney World, because I’m a huge Star Wars fan, and I wanted to visit galaxies edge. So, I spent a full day in galaxies edge, flying the millennium falcon, riding rise of the resistance, doing everything else, including building my own custom lightsaber. It was quite fun. I actually met a friend down there, and we went together.
At the time of this flight, yes. But, American is in the process of removing all IFE from their domestic fleet. In replace of it, they offer free wifi that allows you to connect to the same library of shows that you would've had on your seat back IFE screen. So it's a, bring your own screen type of deal now.
2 questions. Did thee tire MD family retire, like the MD-90, or just the MD-88? Also, what’s happening to the flight attendants that work for MD? And pilots?
Yes. All major airlines in the US have now retired all of the MD-80s and MD-90s. There are no active MD-90’s flying anywhere in the world. As for the crews. With the current situation, a lot of them probably took early retirement. Others probably transferred to other aircraft types. Most likely 737s, or A320s.
rmead2021 is partly right. Typically, I tend to sit away from the exits. Because most exits are directly over the wing, and that makes it difficult to film. However, on the A321 it’s a different story. The exit row behind the wing is one of my favorite places to sit on this aircraft. I pretty much sit in this row on every American A321. Ultimately, I’ve sat in the exit row more times than I can count.
I once sat by the emergency exit, but usually, I avoid doing so since one of my family members is scared that the door could accidentally open if I accidentally lean on it.
At 12,000 feet long, they are definitely big runways. There are bigger ones elsewhere in the country though. DFW has four 13,500 feet long runways, and DEN has a 16,000 foot long runway.
@@redscorpion9411 OHH sawing. I read that as swaying for some reason. Yes, the sawing noise you hear on Airbus A320 series aircraft is the Power Transfer Unit, which is part of the hydraulic system. It operates when only one of the two engines is running and transfers power between the various hydraulic systems.
@@sla31 I thought that until the airline I use to fly started replacing the seats on its Airbus fleet with the thin back ones, which I hate. They don't recline (great to as it stops those inflight fights when pax complaining about seat recliners), they lighter than the original seating; I suppose to reduce weight to maximise efficiencyand fuel economy. But overall the cabin is suppose to be more roomy for pax, also the overhead bins are better as they can fit at most 5 cabin cases, although people never put them in right so you end up with space for 3 lol.
Most of the money I get comes from my job. Hahaha. I do everything on this channel out of my own pocket, in addition to working a regular full-time job. So, I spent a lot of disposable income on this channel.

Watched the entire thing! Really liked the altitude changes while the captain kept trying to find smooth air - very cool.
