      It’s funny how these things work out. I was flying a lot right before the pandemic because I was expecting my first child. I knew I wasn’t going to have much time to fly after her birth. I ended up flying on three American A330s, an American 757, and three Delta MD-80s, all in the last two weeks before I stopped flying. Now, just a couple of months later, all of those planes are parked in the desert or soon will be. So, I ended up with a lot of footage from onboard aircraft that aren’t going to be around anymore after this. I still have two more A330 flights to post, and two more Delta MD-80 flights.

      Pre-Covid it wasn't that unusual here in the US. If demand required, you often saw large planes on short/domestic routes. Obviously this was a very short flight, and I've also seen American run 767-300's before between MCO and MIA. I've seen Delta and United do similar things as well. That was a different time though. 🤷

      Well, for the last few years I’ve flown around 70-100 segments per year. Of course, I can manipulate how much backlog I have by manipulating my upload schedule. When this whole pandemic thing started, I put the channel in long-term survival mode if you will. To maximize the time that the backlog would last.

    • @sla31
      @sla31  4 года назад +2

      Well, I do show all of that. So, I'm not sure I understand your criticism. I show the boarding, the cabin, the IFE, the meal service/snack service, if the plane is at a gate where you can actually see it, I show the aircraft. Now, I don't spend a ton of time on that stuff. Once I've shown it, it doesn't change. I don't really see a point to dwell on it. Plus, this flight was literally less than an hour long. That's not a lot of time to spend looking at that stuff. I mean, the most important view, is the view out the window. Also, on this particular flight, the IFE was broken, so I couldn't show that. All of that said, but it's also worth mentioning that my channel isn't intended to be a "review" channel. My videos are not designed as a review of said airline, aircraft, or service. My channel is focused on the aviation as a whole, and the beauty that can be found in everyday flights. So, is it an added bonus that people can use my videos to see levels of service and stuff? Sure, but that's not why I put these videos out. I put these videos out so that aviation enthusiasts and travel lovers can have a place to view flights from all over the world, in the highest quality possible. The cabin, IFE, etc. doesn't change. It's the same when you board as when you land. The views out the window do change. The first 2 minutes of this video, at 46:30, and the last minute are all shots of exactly what you're asking for though. So, again, I'm not sure I understand your criticism, because all of it is already in the video. With the exception of the IFE because it was broken on this flight.

      You know, comments like these always confuse me. I wonder, what do you expect when you click on the video? Because you obviously clicked on the video otherwise you wouldn’t be leaving me a comment. I’m not in the business of clickbaiting people, so the title says exactly what the video is. And the thumbnail is a screenshot taken directly from the video. So you had to have a pretty good idea of what you were clicking on. Honestly, no one is forcing you to watch the videos. If you don’t like the content I have on my channel then just don’t watch. It’s a simple as that. That said, if you can’t watch these videos, and see the beauty of the engineering marvels that are airplanes, mixed with the beautiful scenery of our planet, then I feel very sorry for you.
